Think Different Auto, Sin carpa

DrZaius As this is my first indoor grow, I was really struck by the rapid emergence and growth of the stem and the first leaves in this first week; the plant has reacted well to the conditions of the room. There are 2 plants that have exactly the same growth characteristics, and if I see any differences as the weeks go by, I will comment on them separately. Plant 2, as you can see, is slightly bent; to avoid this, I was constantly rotating the pots, placing the curve away from the light, so that the plant would naturally seek its way to the light and straighten up. As a comment, and based on my experience with other types of plants and outdoor grows, I believe that the space could be conducive to the appearance of some kind of pests, which is why I am constantly checking the plants, and they have ventilation 24 hours a day.

DrZaius I'm thrilled with how well the plant is doing, I love its color. DrZaius I went a few days without visually recording the progress of the plants, and I'm really impressed by the accelerated growth compared to other autoflowering seeds I've grown outdoors. You can already start to notice differences between the two plants; Plant 2 has a much faster growth rate, reaching over 2cm per day, plus the strong growth of its first well-formed pair of leaves. Plant 1: By the end of this week, on Sunday, this plant was about 26cm long. The stem grew a bit crooked, and I'm trying to straighten it naturally through the plant's search for light, but I don't think I can correct the initial stage of the twisted stem. Overall, the plant looks good despite this; it grows with the same strength as the other one, although it has a greater number of leaves and shows some more indica characteristics in its growth. (The photos for the end of the week for this plant got lost, so I won't be able to upload them; I apologize :c) Plant 2: I call it the little monster; it has grown 30cm in 21 days, averaging 10cm per week and over 1cm per day. The plant is growing strong and hasn't slowed down at all in its overall growth; the leaves are healthy and show no signs of pests, mold, or stress. This week I started applying top veg fertilizer; although the recommended line for this type of plant is top auto, I'm going to make use of what I already have. DrZaius Plant 1: After a couple of days with the change in light direction, the plant has already started to straighten its trunk, although it still has a bend at the base. Despite this, with the new direction, the plant has stretched to 31 cm today 01/10. The plant looks healthy overall, and the first signs of what will be our flowers are appearing. This plant is also more robust and has more leaf presence than plant 2. Plant 1: The little monster keeps growing non-stop, reaching 36 cm in length today 01/10, with a central tip that continues to grow constantly and a couple of lateral branches that are growing alongside the central one. Overall, it appears to be a healthy plant, with small signs of what will eventually be our flowers, but smaller than plant 1. This plant has more branching and is more stretched out, with greater spacing between its leaves, which helps quite a bit for even light absorption. DrZaius Plant 1: At a size of 52cm as of today 7/10, this has been the week of the most noticeable growth and changes. This particular plant is strongly transitioning into the flowering stage, starting to form the bud at the tip and with the appearance of pistils on the lateral branches. Overall, the morphological differences with its sister are still being observed; this one is slightly shorter in height and has a greater production of leaves, but also more pronounced tips. During the end of last week, the accelerated growth they experienced required me to increase the amount of water during their watering periods. Plant 2: The little monster keeps growing and still shows no signs of slowing down. As of today 07/10, it reached the impressive size of 58cm and still shows signs of a strong flowering stage despite the appearance of some pistils on the lateral branches, but not at the tip like its sister. The leaves look healthy and with a thick trunk, this plant looks promising if everything stays the same. DrZaius Plant 1: As previously mentioned, plant 1 started its flowering process much earlier, and this came with a decrease in daily growth, but it has still grown quite a bit, reaching a total of 83cm. The flowers are forming and fattening up very, very quickly; sometimes a strong smell comes from the room and then fades away, but the smell is not yet permanent and intense. Both plants have taken different paths regarding the weeks of vegetation they went through, and the watering and fertilizers have also been different, so starting this week I will add a separate watering schedule for each plant, putting the one for the bigger plant in the GrowDiaries sheet. Due to its rapid growth, at the end of last week, I pruned some of its lower leaves before it started flowering to give the lower flowers more light. Because of the large size the plants have reached, I had to rearrange the grow room, giving them more space to grow without getting in each other's way. DrZaius Sorry for taking so long to post updates, it’s been a more complicated few weeks with the grow and personal matters, so I didn’t have much time to take better photos or update sooner. Plant 1: It keeps flowering and fattening its buds at a great speed, the smell is already starting to be felt in the room and sometimes throughout the rest of the house. The change in the watering cycle didn’t affect it at all, and it didn’t show any stress symptoms like the other plant. The plant reached 85cm, and despite being smaller than its twin, I’m impressed by the speed at which the flowers are forming. I think they’re going to have staggered harvests or this one is going to produce heavier buds. Seeking help and consulting some friends, we thought there could be several factors, including that I could no longer maintain an adequate distance from the light due to the height the plant reached, the air was too direct, or it was being over-fertilized. Solution: I changed the indoor layout in the room, giving each plant more space and a greater distance from the light. The ventilation, which was previously direct, now bounced off the wall, and I also did a root wash for 2 weeks. Due to the change in light distance and the growth of the plants, the substrate also started to dry out more slowly, so I reduced the watering to once every 3 days for all the plants. Plant 1: The plant showed slight symptoms similar to its twin on some lower leaves, but it didn't progress further. The flowers are fattening up and more pistils are appearing, filling the whole room with their scent, which can constantly be felt throughout the rest of the house. In terms of watering, this plant has always been the least demanding, so it has reacted quite well to the change in cycle. Some of its lower leaves have been losing strength. The flowers don’t seem to have been affected since they are growing very well and fattening up even faster than the other plant. The great height of this plant means it has very large lateral branches with abundant buds; I had to support one of the branches because it was bending too much. I’m worried that the stress the plant experienced and the root washing will affect the final yield of the grow.
