Setup:
Happy to start this grow in a complete setup. For memory I started my grower journey seven month ago, I had a limited budget and decide to buy the necessary and build my setup in a month by month low invest (100$ to 150$).
I also decided to build a setup that allow me an rotation culture and a 2 plant harvest every 4 to 6 week, and it's why I have a 2x2 tent in 18/6 for the vegetative period of two plants and a 3.3x3.3 tent in 12/12 for the flowering of four plant in two different stage.
Soil, nutrients and other products:
Same if i start my grower journey few month ago I'm still a beginner and I like to keep it simple and cheap. So my soil is an hypermarket bio soil N.P.K: 6.5.7 - PH: 6.2 in with I add perlite and coco fiber.
For the nutrients I choose 3 products form the french brand Guano-Diffusion; the Alguamycor (seaweed based roots developer), the Guanodiff Classic's powder (veg nutrient) and the Guanodiff bloom (what you expect).
The watering will be done with tap water regulated on PH to 6.2 with white vinegar.
Finishing with blue and yellow sticky trap, diatomaceous earth, Neem oil and black soap to prevent and cure pest and bugs.
This diary will be weekly updated, questions and advises are welcome and I hope you'll enjoy this Bubby (Bubblegum XL) journey with me.
Ty for reading.
Highly yours.
NHash.
PS: I'm a Frenchy so except if you are an expert in both Molière and Shakespeare language, please by indulgent with my English level.
Growing point:
An amazing weather outdoor this week but it's not the top for my grow conditions, temperature in my apartment is around 28-29C° and I have only 1C° to 2C° more in the tent, not the ideal but I have to deal with it...
I have yellow leaves on my Bubby,, I think is due to the heat so I've up the light to decrease IR concentration, not sure it's really helpful...
The good news is that new leaves appears, meaning she's still alive and still want to grow (same if she don't take a cm this week).
Nutrients point:
Guanodiff nutrients are done to a 10 weeks efficiency, on their recommendation I chose a 10g/l dosage at each transplants.
It's why, for an easy reading of the nutrient lifetime I answer the Growdiaries board with a 10ml/l and decrease it oh 1ml/l by week and reup the count to 10 on each transplant.
This week I decide to change the pot size in the middle of the week and the Bubby seems to like it, she start to grow again.
The temperature inside the tent decreased this week who's allow me to bring back the lamp distance to 30cm for the incoming week.
No real problem this week I saw fungus gnats in my tent, so I had put diatomaceous earth on the soil two days after watering.
Problem solve in less than 2 days. All the diatomaceous earth go in the soil on the next watering, killing the potential larvas who's in.
Except that Bubby still growing healthy, she took 3cm this week 😀
Growing point:
Changing the pot size this week, roots looking well developed and healthy.
I think that I will can change the pot earlier on my next grow...
Nutrients point:
I already had the bloom nutrient to the soil, that the last pot for this grow and I will transfer the plant to the 12-12 tent form the moment the grow to 30cm.
So I hope that it will not be to much nutrients for the end of vegetative phase...
Now Bubby have more space to grow, ask her if she like her new pot but she not answer me, so i took that for a yes.. 😄
Growing point:
Bubby took 5cm this week and loose them with the start of the LST.
Branches star their grow.
Nutrients point:
Looks to don't have a nutrients excess, 6.5 PH on transplant was a good idea finally.
Ok, Bubby don't growing fast (due to me), but remember that's not the hare who's win at the end but the tortoise...
