It was a cold flowering season yet these girls did quite well for near zero nights from september on. Not as good tasting or smelling as the indoor grow but it does the trick. Buds are formed well and nice hard nuggies.
Very easy to grow. No pest attacked this strain and did pretty good for the cold flowering season we had here this year. Very sticky weed. Used a trimming machine for the most part. Went through 3 pairs of scissors in less than 10 minutes trying to wet trim by hand. Gave away the headband and most of the purple nurple.
@FreshCoastOrganics, Thankyou. To be able to say you love the place you live and when away and returning home, your heart and mind settles. You know where your meant to be.
@Mrs_Larimar, Lmao. Closest neighbor that lives here is Three places away. That's a pretty good walk, just made sure the old timer was clear lol. But in actuallity the wife fell over with the first big one we sawed down when it came lose. She wasn't expecting the weight. About 30 lbs. I had a good laugh anyways. Now to the work...My God! Thanks for the kind words. Cheers
That trimmer you have is insane! I know you spent a pretty penny on that one but with the amount that you yield from your plants I’m sure it’s well worth it!! Congrats on the harvest, my friend! 😎
@FreshCoastOrganics, Thanks again. The new blade works great. I keep picking away, still takes removal of the big useless leaves before you throw in or more chlorophyll in the extracts. Just had a neighbor bring a batch over we ran through. 1/4 lb took literally 45 seconds to trim up but he had it ready to throw right in.
@GMSgrows, That makes total sense to me! I’m the same way when it comes to certain buds I don’t have the patience to trim. I don’t have a machine trimmer yet but I use a silicone brush with stiff bristles instead. It’s ten times as fast as scissor trimming and doesn’t get gunked up! But oh yeah those sticky resinous strains can be a pain to trim, especially when you have more than a few ounces 😂
I’m sorry you had to deal with that bad blade but I’m glad you were able to create something better on your own! The new design you came up with sounds really effective!
@GMSgrows, oh you are too, yeah I guess I coulda have kept mine out longer but we had -4 last night. The rain is a bitch indeed, I got an aphid infestation from the rains last month.
@StonerAlien, Thnks bro. I'm in the same boat Northern Ontario here as well. Plants will finish with the cold, doesnt seem to bother the flower production but all the damn rain, that's a big problem. Let's hope for some good weather from here to the end of October. Cheers
@WeedWhisperer At 58, there is no more stress...Just pain...need my medication to hurry up and finish.
At least they lowered the weed prices on the reserve to 100 bucks an oz for indoor grown. Better tasting than the outdoor GG#4 but nothing better than your own indoor.
@GMSgrows,
we got similar weather here in uk but thats good they pulled through in the end, i've always wanted to do a few GG4's myself i should've got a few for this year.
@dribbzzy, Northern Ontario Canada. Was unreal cold fall for the girls. They still did well though. The GG4 is very strong outdoors, but not near as good tasting as the indoors.
Thanks for the comment friend. Cheers
@Ferenc, Thnx bro. Not looking forward to all the work. Just taking 3 down branch by branch took a couple hours to get cut and hung. I do have an auto trimmer I use for outdoor so the trimming is much easier.
@GreenhouseGrowing, I have a trimmer. All you need to do is de stem the buds throw bout half lb in and its ready in 40 50 seconds. Only use the trimmer for outdoor though. Indoor gets hand care. Cheers friend
