Hi everyone! The little ones have reached the end of week 3 and they are healthy and dashing. I think that the 5 MPKs are entering the pre-flowering stage (not really sure since it's my first grow). Some pistils are showing at the top. The 4 2Gums are still in full vegetative state (yes 4, not 5, I killed one because of my rope incident --> see week 2). I finally decided to leave the plants alone and not do any LST for this time, I'll try it with my next grow. I'm pretty happy because temperatures in my area started to drop and it doesn't get that hot anymore (not over 30 degrees in the tent at least), so my little heat-crippled plant is starting to recover :) However, I'm not really sure if 2 of my MPKs haven't stretched out too much (see picture above). They are almost twice the size of the other plants, which creates some problems with the height of my growing light... And the other plants are way bushier than these 2. But they still look quite healthy. Last thing I noticed is that a lot of leaves have their tips that are turning yellow/brown. Since I'm only feeding them some silica for now I don't really think it is due to nutrient burn. Maybe it's because of the heat ? I don't know. Anyway, I'm really happy with how it's working out for now 😀 See ya next week ✊

Hi! My plants are in their 2nd week of flowering and some of the leaves at the bottom of the plant (very few in the middle) are starting to turn yellow and they look kind of lifeless. It's very dense in the tent so maybe they don't have enough light? or lack of nutrients ?

It’s a nutrient defincency, nothing to care to much, natural life cicle of the plant that in the start of the flowering start eating a little bit more nutrient . The signs i can read is Mg definciency for the yellowing not on the veins, the necrosis on the first photo can be Calcium ( related to the Mg)

As I don't have any magnifying glass or microscope to check the trichomes, I'm relying on the color of the pistils to evaluate the maturity of the plants. However, as it is my first grow, I don't really now if they are ready for a flushing. What do you think ?

flushing is an urban myth. Your plant looks a little over-nuted with the glossiness, if true in real life and not the photo tricking me. (canoeing, some tip burn etc.. it's got more than enough) So, you could benefit from a few water-only irrigations. I'd simply resume if it isn't harvest time after that, but with 1/2 strength and go fro there... soil should retian nutrients well, so flushing for 10-14 days isn't unusual. I'd wait for buds to look about ripe, then start. That's typically how long nit takes the trichomes to mature in my experience, 10-14 days.

they look fantastic for a start. Well done. The leaves are definitely starting to fade. You don't need to fill ya pots with shit loads of water to flush, your on easy street kid just water now until true fade approx 14 days?. she is still producing some white pistols from calyx so trichomes should be bang on look really nice plants 👌
