Not doing any changes this week unless I choose to simulate a rainy colder day midweek but not too sure about that yet. She is starting to flower, but not as quickly as her space mate. We will see. Next week, I'll update if I did it or not and results of course.
Shes starting this week with a trim, in a new room, and lights adjusted by 2 inches. Shes not grown in height and her flowers aren't coming in as well as our other girl. It's a little too early to tell (I think) but we may an extra week or two of flower for her.
After trim and move, she was given some extra dehydrated manure and a gallon of water. She doesnt seem as shocked as our other one, but shes not too happy either. Giving her time and we will see.
I don't know why her measurement is 2 inches less then last week. I'm guessing she's sagging a little now that she has no netting to help hold her up. That's my only explanation. She's seemed to heal well after her defoliation last week. Doing nothing different this week. Just going to water normally and let her flower.
Again with this one we made no adjustments in the lighting, but did add nutrients for bloom. We already know she may take an additional week or two in bloom compared to the rabbit hole.
She seems a bit happier but we will see. She may be happy but her flowers look so sad.
Ok. Figured out a little bit about the Chernobyl line. This has been known to need more time to flower then other strains. Some people may have better luck with flowering Chernobyl quicker than others, but 4 out of 5 people I've spoken with (I know that's not a lot) have said they took theirs all the way up to 12 weeks in flower.
Onto our lady. She started becoming just as unhappy as our Rabbit.
We found out LIGHTS are important. Knowing the reasoning for wattage and penetration, with in the space used in just as important as the light.
Chernobyl was in a a 3x4 closet with a 3ft t5 light. She was moved into a 4x8 space with the same light. The t5 was not enough for the space. 🤦♀️ I'm sure many here would say, "well duh." Well I'm sorry. I'm learning and now I know. 😘
We added a 1000watt veg bloom led light into the area and we will see how much better we can get. It may be too late, but maybe not. I hope we can recover a little bit before we have to harvest.
Had a rough past week.
Experiment plant died. Room got too hot.
New light works wonders, but forgot to calculate temp increases between rooms, plus the increase in temps in our locale.
1.5 days with no love and My husband and I were like oh dang!
Added fan and turned on air. Temps were mid 80s in all rooms. We are watching closely and all rooms (as of now) are back to normal. 😊
Chernobyl: She suffered a little from the extra heat but not too bad. Some leaf curling, sagging, and little bit of yellow, but she sparked back to life as soon as the temps dropped. We didn't do a drastic drop. It was slow but steady.
Shes starting to bulk up. However, with all the issues we've had, I'm not sure she will produce nearly as much as she otherwise would. I'm still excited.
A few more weeks and she should be ready to harvest.
No real change or update. Sorry. Opening day for rifle. 😁 Getting 🦌.
Bought ph testers. (Water and soil) New light and changing the rooms around again. Its a constant change for us as we upgrade and learn. Plus super limited space. Will do complete update midweek or for next weeks update.
Shes not happy. Again PH in soil. She's still producing, but not as she should. Big reasons why ph is so important.
It just took us time to acquire the necessary tools. More later. I promise.
Dry weight is 19 grams. Most of this was bagged and put in freezer for balm. But we kept enough wet to have at least a try. 😘
Will update harvest next week once it's dry and tried. Maybe 2 weeks.
With getting this from a friend, I do not have much information to give. We had issues that prevented this one from really flowering well. Buds were small and dense. Using most of harvest for balms.
The weight I put on here is not complete. That weight is what we kept out to smoke. There is enough for a couple of bowls or one decent joint. :)
The rest of this plant is being used for balm. I might have mentioned that already a few times. LOL
I would love to see how this could turn out under proper care and conditions. Plan on trying again after the next cycle of plants.
