ShiskaBerry - Found the seed in the sesh bowl after someone I sesh with chopped up, they didn't want the seed so I happily took it. It's 100% ShiskaBerry, but won't go into detail it's too much to type. Put into the ground on the 7/10 and it emerged on the 11/10, I don't germinate seeds for outdoor grows as I feel it's a good way of finding strong seeds from the get go without having to go through the hassle of culling a bunch of weak plants, I don't know though just a theory I have.

Not much to report, it's looking good so far. Fed it with some root roids and sea sugar/kelp, foliar sprayed it on as well. The root roids seems promising, the deep sea sugar/kelp has the top notch seaweed in it (Ascophyllum nodosum, I believe) has 7 growth hormones in it, should hopefully give the root system a push to expand.

This ones growing so much slower then the Zkittlez, I have a feeling it could of been the amount of rain that we had while I was gone last week. Ended up transplanting on the 23/10 since the plant didn't look too happy, like most of the nutrients were washed out of the soil from all the rain. 30/10 - Got way to much water last night from the sudden rain, looking a bit droopy today hopefully doesn't stunt growth again.

GS - Didn't bother taking photos or recording anything with this plant until that storm hit, at first I thought it was gonna be a weak plant. But after seeing it recover after being completely snapped in half, I decided to make a diary on it. Very glad I did because it's a strong plant so far and can handle a lot of abuse. I'm not sure of pest resistance but time will tell. I found the seed in a outdoor bud of Gorilla Zkittlez, it looked very healthy and was quite large so I planted it into some soil and within 4 days it popped up

Waiting on super soil, current soil is terrible + ants love it. Transplanting to a 140L fabric pot when materials are available. Keep seeing the occasional aphid but can't find any eggs anywhere, keep killing them whenever i see them anyways, don't want them and the ants becoming best friends.

Planning on transplanting either next week or week after, plant seems to be doing fine still, thought the clay based soil would hinder growth this far in but not so far. Have super soil base ready just need to get remaining soil ready. Added some of the super soil mix to the top layer of soil to help with water retention in current pot as it gets warmer over the next few weeks.

Transplanted this week into the 140L fabric pot, can't come to the conclusion if this much rain is good for a plant that's just been transplanted. Regardless it looks well, I don't think the snapped stem will survive as I didn't notice it quick enough and seemed floppy by the time i got to it. Tried to repair it but still floppy. Think it might be showing signs of budding, but it should revert back soon as the days are 12 hours and 37 minutes long and civil twilight is 50 minutes I assume? First outdoor plant only ever had experienced with indoor up until now.

From what I've researched Civil Twilight provides enough lux for plants to sense light, does that mean I'm getting about 13 hours and 27 minutes of daylight?

yes your right. if you want total darkness right now you would either cover your plant form the extra light or put it indoors. the light will change later this month and your plant(s) will then trigger to go to flower. by having the 13h 27min going the plant will grow and continue to veg until the 12/12 cycle and the plant will transition into flower hope that confirms what you know

Plant seems to have settled in after the transplant, been a bit tricky to figure out how much to water it never used a fabric pot before. Has been heating up to constant 25-35 degree days but the plant is still happy with it so far, looks to be budding a little bit but I'm hoping it reverts back to veg as the days are getting longer (in southern hemisphere). Nights are around 10hrs and 18mins while days are around 13hrs and 41mins.

Was away for almost a week, when I returned there seemed to be a bit of damage to some leaves. It looks to be either slugs or snails, would of been the rain while I was gone as the border surrounding the plant has been flattened and compacted to make it dry out hard but when it rains it quickly gets muddy. - 20/10, put a net down so I don't have to use the weed matt pins anymore, feel like I could of be damaging roots sometimes when putting them in.

Seems to be preflowering despite the days being 14hr's long, thinking it might be a lack of sunlight. Have a greenhouse on the way as this season is going to be wet (La Nina), hoping to reposition the plant when the greenhouse arrives so it has more direct sunlight.

8/11 - Days are still getting longer, hoping that and the fact the plant has been moved about 2 metres to the North pushes it back into veg. I don't think it was getting enough light where it was, where it is now it's almost receiving a full day of sunlight where as before it was cut back a few hours because of the garden shed. Possibly seeing signs of reveg in some spots but it's hard to tell for sure

Not a good week, had issues with caterpillars again. Been going around the plant shaking it to make them drop off then killing them one by one. Killed 9 so far, hoping to not find anymore as these seem to be eating holes in the stem and completely destroying certain areas. Only positive I can see from it is that they've eaten a lot of the bud sites, fingers crossed that accelerates the reveg, not happy that it's budding with 15 hours of daylight. MUCH prefer indoor at this point since all of these variables are controllable compared to the shit show I've had with outdoor so far.

What is my plant doing? the days are almost 15 hours long so I don't understand why it's budding still, I expected it to reveg by now but no sign of rounded single leaves still. The days are getting longer not shorter, end of next month is when the days start getting shorter.

Hi there, I had finished a revegging plant. It took me about one or two weeks before she showed any re vegging sign. When she starts re vegging, she will show abnormal leaves growth coming out from the buds.I would like you to recommend to put extra light after sunset and give her more light hour.I gave 24 hours of light at the first few weeks of re vegging.Happy growing... ✌️

Things are looking up this week, haven't found anymore caterpillar damage or anymore caterpillars. Finally seeing signs of reveg everywhere, smooth leaf sets and 3 fingered leaves that look funky. Keen for the next few weeks

Bottom of plant not looking too good, can't tell if from lack of light, over/under watering or the start of a nitrogen deficiency, plants been in super soil for 9 weeks so not sure if nitrogen is getting low. Started to look rough about a week ago

Well, EFF ME! I would like to give you a medal for the most honest title to a question ever! Well done mate! That lower shitty/spindly growth is a result of them not getting enough light. Due to your SCRoG system, your plant has developed a very dense canopy and this results in too little light getting through to those lower and inner sections. I would recommend some "lollipopping" of the branches and to remove the small spindly growth all together. This way your plant will no longer be wasting her energy with growing the smaller/inner branches. After removing all the little bits that will never grow into decent flowers, the top parts that are receiving the most sun will then flourish, without the energy drain that those small inner branches are causing. I doubt much of that inner growth was producing any worthwhile energy due to being so shaded, so to remove them should not cause too much "shock" to the rest of your plant. Once only the tops are left, growth should increase, as the tops are getting most of the sun, meaning that they are also producing most of your plants energy, so the removal of the inner growth should produce no problems due to a reduction in energy production. Otherwise your plants look healthy enough and don't seem to be lacking any nutrition. If you are unfamiliar with "lollipopping", I'm sure there would be plenty of demos on youtube. I also agree with you about starting seeds directly in soil, no need to cater to namby pamby weak seedlings. Plus there is less chance of damage, no transplant issues, they get nutrients from the instant they are "born", they are not drowning in a glass of water, they are not growing one way in relation to gravity then another when they are planted, they are just doing it themselves - just like nature intended! Hope this helps,.... Organoman. P.S. - if you want an awesome organic product to use on your super soil, try "Bio-Vega" by Bio-Canna. Effing excellent, but half strength is plenty.

04/01, Need to stop overwatering it, have a bad habit of doing so with the hot days we have. Leaf yellowing hasn't gotten better despite defoliation and watering with bio-vega. Accidentally snapped a branch trying to kill a spider that wouldn't piss off, see pic #3. Looks like it will heal fine just need to keep an eye on it. Flowering is probably not far off, feel like it might be in the first week of flowering but time will tell. - Shiskaberry ended up being a male, ripped that out around week 9 of veg forgot to update

So she's still alive but not doing well, have been trying multiple things to try slow down the infection. Which so far has sort of been successful but nonetheless will lose a lot of yield, buds are looking nice though and luckily got given another plant that was infection free.
