CBDiesel not bouncing back, losing more leaves. Still in transplant shock, not rooting.
Topped Sour Tangies and Lemon Ice. Tangies seem to be bushing out a bit more than the Ice. Began Low stress training.
Gave CBDiesel rooting hormone and Cal Mag in foliar spray & hand watered earlier in week.
- She began rooting in next few days. Seems to be bouncing back now.
Began low stress training all plants
Added extra fan, turned air pump on
- Fed foliar spray made of Kelp, Yucca, Carbon and Cal-Mag
- Added RAW Nutes to feed, raised PPM's above average. Experimenting to see if beneficial additives will help with nutrient uptake or cause nutrient lockout.
- Significant growth from last week
- Sour Tangie doing much better than other strains
- Added pH balanced ice cubes 3 times throughout week
- Small amount of what looks like nute burn on Tangie 2
- Mid way through week aeroponics sprayer tipped over and was only spraying some of roots. Tangie 1 completely wilted and has had a slow recovery since, consistently having lower leaves shrivel and die. At end of week four after flushing and placing in larger reservoir it appears to be getting better and sprouting new growth.
- Flushed plants for 20 minutes after moving them to larger reservoir
- Continued using foliar spray (Kelp, Carbon, Yucca, Cal-Mag)
- Added 6" fan inside Bloombox main chamber to replace battery fan
- Roots expanded drastically throughout week. Went from many dead black ends to long bushy white, with many fine root hairs
- Kelp/Charcoal seem to be getting left behind in bottom of reservoir. May not be getting fed to plants. Could the kelp and charcoal still be supplying water with nutrients if not fully dissolved?
- CBDiesel roots big improvement this week but still very insignificant root mass compared to others
- Lemon Ice growing tall quickly
- Many nice looking bud sites starting to pop on Lemon Ice and especially the Sour Tangies
- Fed foliar spray once
- Added CO2 this week
- Continued to tuck stretching tops back under trellis net
Defoliated bottom parts of plants and lower growth. It's fairly evident now that the CBDiesel isn't going to produce much. The fan leaves and bud sites are tiny in comparison to the other two strains.
Roots have become completely entangled and almost reach the perimeter of reservoir.
Continued to tuck taller growth back under trellis to create even canopy.
Foliar fed 3 times throughout week with half strength solution.
Added pH balanced ice cubes 3 times throughout week to boost oxygenation
Humidity way too high, need to address this fast.
- Properly profiled/lollipopped the plants at the start of the week. Got rid of many smaller low branches to send energy upward to the larger colas.
- To combat the high humidity from last week I added a small Vivosun dehumidifier that fits nicely under my trellis.
- Also defoliated heavily above trellis, taking most large fan leaves off
- Root mass is significant. Reaching to all corners of the enclosure.
- Heavy defoliation to canopy twice this week, got rid of all large fan leaves to send energy to buds
- Light defoliation every other day
Plants are profiled nicely, many buds throughout now. Some of the hairs on the Lemon Ice buds are starting to turn orange.
Adding the dehumidifier and extra 6" fan seems to have solved the humidity issue.
Plants drank a lot of water this week, I will monitor more closely next week and add some water throughout to help keep pH balanced.
The stem I folded over last week seems to have recovered fine and is now laying horizontal across trellis, accidental super cropping.
- Lemon Ice buds compacting faster than Sour Tangie.
- Humidity slowly rising. May be an issue in late flower
- Defoliated canopy heavily again this week
Buds are filling in nicely, if top colas get nice and dense in next few weeks they will be a good size!
Lemon Ice seems to be approaching harvest faster than the Sour Tangies
Flushing this week with pure water.
Lemon Ice is well ready, CBDiesel looks ready also. Sour Tangies need a few more days at least, trichomes starting to turn milky and amber pistils at around 5-10%
Tangies really starting to plump up this week. Looks like we will be getting some decent sized buds from the two girls.
Lemon Ice and CBDiesel pretty well ready for harvest.
- Didn't have a drying tent setup yet so decided to let them flush a few more days with the tangies.
Tangies look close but not quite ready so I decided to Ice Flush them this week with added Yucca to help strip nutrients.
- After adding pH balanced ice water for a final flush I sent the plants into a 72 hour dark period.
