Tehis is my first experience in growing. There is 1 strain insde the box (small cabinet). Main lamp is DIY lamp based on COB LED Cree CMA3090 [email protected] 3000K mounted on CPU heatsink.
My first week started with seed germination and ended with fresh seedling.
This week was with troubles. Especially for such a newbie as I am. Spotted thrips, who injured first leaves, were defeated by insecticides. I'm looking forward to next week hoping for smooth growth.
Dear community, this is my first growth, so I feel a little nervous. On the pic of day 10 you can see the leaves started to turn yellow compared to the previous day. Is it normal?
This happens sometimes, you may be a little light on nuets but I wouldnt touch it for now in soil.
Soil makes things like this difficult to address so better to let it sit a while see what develops.
If it advances or worsens in some way you will want to re-poll the community
Have fun
At the end of the week leaves look a little lowered. The plant does not grow up a lot. Maybe the lamp is too bright and hangs too low. I have lifted it up. The leaves look good in color and structure, so I don't use any fertilizer yet.
Week 4 begins.
day 23: first MgSO₄ dose sprayed on the leaves
day 24 morning: 0.7l watering with mineral fertilizers (50%)
day 24 evening: LST done
day 26: 0.5l watering with mineral fertilizers (75%)
Intensive LST was done to the plant this week. The height is small even accounting LST: main stem is just about 9.5" (20cm). But some side colas grow well being exposed to the direct light after LST.
This week is considered as flowering. The plant has a small size, that's not rare for this strain as I concluded. Probably it's because of too bright light, though I've seen a couple grow reports with much less powerful lights with small size plant as a result. To the end of week the length of the main stem is about 35cm, though it is curved by LST.
I do regular LST training for young stems to face all the flowers to light.
day 29: There was some lack of watering problem, so full watering 2l with 70% fertilizers was done. TDS of water solution was about 500ppm, TDS of drain water was about 900ppm. pH level is about 6.5-7.0
day 33: 2.5l watering with flowering mix of nutrients.
Active flowering continues. Buds get more purple. Beautiful! The smell is weak, has flavour of grape juice.
Watering is once per 3 days. I change plain water and water with fertilizers.
Probably it's the last week before harvest. New nutrition scheme without Nitrogen. After two feedings green colors is almost gone, all is yellow and purple. Some trichomes get milky white.
I used ripening fertilizers without Nitrogen hoping this week will be the last before the harvest. But as of today plant is not ripe, amber trichomes are absent. Now I'm not sure how to properly water the plant.
I used non specialized fertilizers I'd bought in nearest gardeners' store.
I used the following chemical elements content per liter of the watering solution:
for vegetation: N: 105.6 P: 52.7 K: 110.2 B: 0.11 Fe: 0.21 Mn: 0.11 Zn: 0.02 Cu: 0.02 Mo: 0.01
MgSO4 5ml/l sprayed on the leaves daily.
for flowering: N: 63 P: 109.88 K: 149.4 Ca: 76.6 Mg: 9.55 B: 0.32 Zn: 0.13 Cu: 0.13 Mo: 0.006
for pre-harvest (2 weeks): N: 0 P: 130.93 K: 206.42 Mg: 74.56 S: 76.96
micro elements B, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mo, Co, Ca, succinic acid, vitamins B1, PP, C.
The dry weight of trimmed and dried buds was 50gr.
