Unfortunately growth stalled and cotyledon turned blackish green and then the baby leaves shrivelled up and the stem fell over. Removed the plant and the tap root looked healthy white. I think it's damping off, maybe from overwatering. Gonna germinate and plant another seed and grow in a small yogurt tub and mist with hydrogen peroxide/water mix. Fabric pot and soil is holding water for longer than I thought it would, so will restrict watering to once a week or even less after I transfer this second seedling from the yogurt tub to the fabric pot.
Oct 3: Been two days after potting and seedling hasn't emerged :(
Probably doesnt mean anything. I would guess there was a shortage left from when you planted it and the seedling obstructed water flow, so it stayed wet longer. No big deal either way.
