Njanne I started this seed during the beginning of COVID19 (March 25, 2020) and topped the plant at around 7 weeks of veg. I put her in the dirt during the first week of May... but I didn't start the journal until now. I thought, since she is turning out so well, that it might be worth sharing. I think her harvest will be pretty fun!

Njanne I made a mistake! This is Nirvana seeds, not Sweet Seeds. My bad. In any case... there are some solid genetics. I'm noticing powdery mildew.... but it's manageable... I've been trimming off the fan leaves that have bits of mildew... but there is none on sugar leaves or buds as far as I can tell.

Njanne She's looking good... trichs are starting to turn amber. Cold weather is here in Ottawa, and it's been raining for days. I'm seeing signs of aphids and mildew so I'm gonna do the chop :)
This variety was super easy to grow and she survived all kinds of neglect and hardship LOL. I topped her and stuck her in the garden and then I ignored her for the most part... until I saw how amazing her flowers turned out. She took a long time to mature though, and we live in Ontario with a very short growing season. I'm not sure this is the right growing zone for this variety. She would have liked more time to ripen up before the frost and fall wind and rain would overtake the sun and warm weather. However... she survived strong winds... and even some broken and duct taped limbs :)
I started this plant indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! I hardened her off over the last week of April, and then put her in the garden during the first week of May. I didn't offer her any additional nutrients, except the compost mix that was in our spring garden soil top up. I watered her with a slow drip irrigation hose which I left on over night once a week or so depending on the summer heat.
The buzz from vaping BlackJack is energizing and the flavour is citrus and yum! This plant delivers as advertised. Good work Nirvana Seeds Co.

@Njanne, I hate Winter and those long dark days. I have two more days of 90’s then the forecast is upper 70’s for the remaining ten days. I am just not ready for the change. Please post your indoor grows I, want to see how the strain selections grows, might want to try some for myself next Spring.
@@PirateJoe, 😬 I'm so glad you are enjoying the garden adventures LOL!! We have plenty of fun out there... and now that fall is coming I'm sad to put the fun on hold. I'll try to do a good job in my new indoor garden... I'm hoping it will help us with cabin fever and COVID19 boredom.
@ILoVethisPlanT, Also we are in Canada and the grow season was over... cold temperatures slowed down ripening so much... was better to harvest before freezing.
I'm growing this beast in dwc ATM.
Had it one time from an online store and now I'm putting my master skills to the test.
I've made a few clones for outside this season etc and I'm currently growing it on dwc.
