Coco Coir with Automation #1

kriskilo Popping seeds in a humidity dome in Rockwool. On top of a seedling heat mat. Seeds placed in cubes on 9/24/2020. Automation is built on Pigrow, found here: https://github.com/Pragmatismo/Pigrow. This is not my project but the source is decent and it provides enough granularity for my workflow. Eventually, I'd like to code something similar but differently managed. The system consists of the following: 2 Tents, the first (24x24x36") will be used for mother cuttings of these plants. A cutting of each of the four plants will be kept until through flower of the second tent, and the two of the most phenotypically desirable will be kept as mothers. The second tent (24x48x60") will serve as the main tent thoughout the grow. Both tents will be using Floraflex 6" Pots with caps and clips holding the tubing on top of drain trays for excess nutrient solution. Nutrients will be Cutting Edge Solutions (http://www.cuttingedgesolutions.com/) Watering System: This is a built reservoir from a 12gal Coleman cooler with a bulkhead fitting, and a small 12v pump inside to act as a mixing pump. Watering is gravity fed from a selenoid firing from a relay from the Raspberry Pi. Sensors in the system include a DHT22 temp/humidty sensor, a SEN0193 soil moisture sensor, and hopefully a DS18b20 waterproof temp sesor to monitor resevoir temperature.

kriskilo Overall health seems vigorous and I'm so far happy with the growing medium. Nothing unique to report.
