Day 22, It's been a very rainy and somewhat cold last week and as a result all of my plants' growth was significantly slowed down, weather has finally turned so fingers crossed. It popped its first two pistils today but I'm not calling it "flowering" yet.
Day 27, Charlie is growing FAST, popped a tone more pistils, it feels a bit rushed but it's welcome nonetheless! Decided to do LST and since it has already started flowering it is now or never.
BTW, if there was ever an argument to be made against topping autoflowers it's right here. It was about this time (in the plant's growth) that I topped its elder sister. As a result its main stem stopped growing almost entirely and went into growing its side branches at double speed instead. Then its two new top branches sprouted and almost doubled the plant's total height but their buds seem a bit underdeveloped when compared with their counterparts at this stage of their growth. Of course there is no way of knowing for sure until they both finish their cycle but this is how it seems to me at this point.
@SweetKush, they need direct sunlight, nowadays they only get about 5 hours of direct sunlight and another 5 hours of ambient light which doesn't seem to be enough. On the other hand the lower temperatures mean that there is very little smell so I'm not complaining!
Toppa autos fungerar men bÀst Àr att klippa dom tidigt, kanske mellan dag 8-12 dÄ brukar dom ÄterhÀmta sig fint o klara sig riktigt bra. Lycka till med din vÀxa!!
@SweetKush, now I know better. It is not that the other one was topped late, it was just 15 days in, it's that with autos anything that disrupts their growth is a deal breaker! I topped one and it grew many but small buds, I had to transplant another one and it got stubbed (3 weeks in and it's still less than 10cm tall). LST is working great for this one though, nice and gentle, just the right amount of stress!
