SKIDR0W Banana Kush represents a growing trend of strains that no longer exhibit typical characteristics of their dominant genome. In this case, its high, despite the indica dominance, fuels imagination and creativity. It is focused on energizing your mind. Regular pruning will ensure the best possible yield. However, to maximize flower production, it is advisable to grow it in the Grow Room.

SKIDR0W Banana Kush is derived from two groups of high-quality Sativa genetics: a Skunk-Haze mix of the popular Silver Haze crossed with Skunk Kush, as well as the NYC Diesel known for its flavor (predominantly a Sativa hybrid). Additionally, top-quality Afghan Indica strains, known as Kush, are present on both sides of the lineage. As mentioned, Skunk Kush is an important component on the paternal side. The pride of Californian cannabis, OG Kush, is the mother plant. From both, the White Label Banana Kush was developed. Plants from feminized Banana Kush seeds exhibit typical Indica growth patterns. The Sativa influence of this strain is mainly evident in the flower structure and later in the effects of the dried buds. The vegetative growth is strong and reliable, with most plants producing a thick, productive main stem and sturdy branches with short internodes. During the flowering phase, Banana Kush is expected to grow by about 100 to 150%. The general rule is: plants from seeds should be brought to bloom just under half of their desired final size, while clones should grow to about 60% of their desired size before being induced to flower. In the first weeks of flowering, Banana Kush slows its upward growth as the first flower clusters develop from the many shoots. Before the midpoint of the flowering period of 7 to 9 weeks, this strain uses most of its energy to develop a large number of small, firm, resinous flower clusters at each node, which quickly form into thick bud branches. Flower clusters often have a conical or pyramidal shape, being particularly wide at the bottom and tapering towards the top. Due to the unusually strong branching of Banana Kush, the end buds at the top of the main stem and branches often connect with the flower clusters below them, forming large flower clusters – despite the tendency of the flower clusters to group at nodes rather than running between them. During the flowering phase, the White Label Banana Kush is impressively low-maintenance. Plants in a well-set-up system can largely be left to their own devices until harvest. Due to the size and close arrangement of the buds of this strain, humidity should be kept low in the second half of flowering. While the scent during growth is not intense, growers should note that it is likely to become stronger as harvest approaches. Like many large Indica strains, Banana Kush can be a plant that requires many nutrients, especially for its most productive phenotypes to deliver full yields. After harvest, the buds dry quickly, largely retaining their size. For larger harvests, a dehumidifier or good air circulation in the drying area is recommended, as Banana Kush buds can release a large amount of water into the air in a short time. The manicure is also easy, as the plants produce few leaves during the flowering phase. Even the large flower clusters have relatively few leaves with a finger. The dried buds of the White Label Banana Kush will delight any cannabis connoisseur. Thick, fruity, and fragrant, sticky with resin glands, and due to the comparatively small flower clusters, still easy to crumble. When breaking apart the buds, the full, complex aroma of this variety is released – sweet, ripe banana, brown sugar, and a strong lemon-lime note from the NYC Diesel over a base of rich, spicy Indica from its Afghan Kush lineage. Growth, flowering patterns, and effects of the White Label Banana Kush are predominantly Indica, with enough Sativa to enhance the strong body high and set it apart from other Kush strains. The warming, relaxing, euphoric effect of Banana Kush is felt very quickly, almost immediately after exhaling. The Haze component of the cannabinoid profile may become noticeable shortly after. It enhances the high feeling and promotes conversation, good mood, and creativity.
