Started with 2 Sour Chelumbians and 2 Lemon Haze Autos. Neither of the LH autos wanted to live so I started a bubba kush and a white widow to be in the same tent. They will be about a week apart in life
Thought my growth was stunted but I came back from a 5 day vacation to some pretty consistent growth. Also the one from last week with the weird growth came out looking normal after the first couple leaves.
Left them alone this week except for a watering. First strong one I gave them. Found a mushroom in my soil a couple days later. Think I might have disturbed him because he died on me.
A few of my new growth leaves have grown without tips on the middle blades. I thought it may have been a wind issue so I turned one of my fans off. It’s also gotten cooler recently so that may have played a part. Has anyone dealt with this issue before?
I gave them a compost tea this week to help feed them and activate the organic nutrients I added already in the soil. Steady growth. I also noticed some issues with some of my leaves that I think was lead septoria but I can’t be sure. Removed the problem kids during defo anyway
I noticed some yellowing on some of my leaves. I did some research and think it may have been lead septoria. Not sure. Posting pictures... during defoliation I got rid of them anyway
Get your pH slightly acidic - <7
It might be a sulfur-toxicty.... Bringing the pH under 7 may fix it... As you reduce pH, sulfur is less available to the plant for one reason or another.

Also, do you stick to a wet-dry cycle? allow 1" to dry before irrigating. feel weight of pot -- learn what dry feels like. Make sure you get some runoff you ensure no dry pockets. if late in grow and not some super soil type setup, feed full strength with 20% runoff to ensure proper fertile substrate, no buildup... proper ratios maintained.
it's true that soil can self-correct pH a bit, but why push it.. leave that for problems you can't see... a safety net rather than all-in. even water-only irrigations should be pH'd to ~6.8. Your ferts should be pH to 6.8. A little ebb and flow is fine.
get the pH in order, if you weren't doing a wet-dry cycle rootzone issues could be the cuase, like leaf septoria.... see what happens with these 2 courses of action before changing any mixtures.
Started low stress training this week. Kind of in the style of mainlining, but I didn’t really start early enough for that. Tied all branches down to try and give all inside flowers some equal light. White widow leaves turned yellow and she just stopped growing. Need to figure out what I keep doing to kill my seedlings. Root system looked pretty healthy, not sure what was the culprit. Also used farmer freeman to determine sex since I used regular seeds. One male one female. And then there was one.
Had been watching the grow tent channel on YouTube...you can tell by the video the plants had gotten dried out too much. Still working on watering properly.
Completely guessing at her actual height at this point because I tied her down and am planning to let her complete her grow like this. I’ve gotten my canopy pretty even. Also top dressed with a little natures organic this week.
She’s been a thirstier girl more recently...been drying out every 3-4 days, 5 max. Getting real full. I’ve been putting minimal effort in due to the organic soil I decided to use, but she’s responding to everything really well.
She is getting big. By my calculations, I should have just enough room in the tent for her if she stretches out to about 3x her current height. Flipped her to flower on Friday of this week. Let’s go 😊
Houston, we have bud sites! They really sprouted out overnight. Checked on a Tuesday and she was still stretching. Came back Wednesday and she was putting out hairs all over. Also did a strong defoliation. Pulled off aLot of leaves and a few branches. Just wanna my sites at the top to get the most energy possible
First grow wasn’t a complete disaster, but it could’ve been better. I relied completely on the living soil and nothing else. Was a mistake. She missed out on some key nutrients.
