This is the start of week 2 for me but this is my first diary entry (New Member); The Northern Light Autos (NLAs) appear to be doing well although I have nothing to compare them to size wise (First time grow). The coco-perlite (70/30 mix) is dryer than normal after one day which leads me to believe that either the higher temperatures this week have had an impact or the plants are consuming more or both. Today's also the first time I'll be adding nutrients to the water so I'm excited and scared at the same time. I'll only be adding half of the recommended doses (except for the cal-mag) and monitor them. I'll switch to full doses if the plants appear to be handling to new mixture well.
I expected my plants to be a tad bigger at 14 days but that's just me being impatient. They are amazingly healthy and responding to the nutrients well... I'm still only watering the plants when the soil's dry but I do mist the leaves with harvested rain water with added cal-mag all throughout the day because I do know they appreciate a fair amount of humidity as seedlings. I also noticed after reviewing my notes that I added almost double the nutes that was recommended but the Northern Lights handled it light a G! With that being said I won't be feeding nutes this week to give my girls a refreshing break. IG: ks_kultivation | I chronicle EVERYTHING THERE WITH VIDEOS AND MANY MANY PICTURES
Week three (DAY26) was rough because i was out of town for 7 days however the plants maintained. I adjusted the coco pH level from 6.5/7.0 to 5.8/6.5. I've also started LS training even-though the plants may have been too small. I think i may have stunted the growth of these plants by training too early but only time will tell.
OH Yeah, my gf decided to name the plants Natalie and Natasha (Nice Play on Northern Lights). Send them some love and let the girls know that you're rooting for them!

Plants are finally growing up, I'm happy I started training as early as I did; we're going to have a decent amount of tops. I've learned a lot about nutes this week and I've changed my feeding schedule accordingly.
1st feeding: 1/2 strength nutes + full strength Cal-mag + 3/4 strength Fish Shit (pH 5.9) <-- I call this "Dinner"
2nd feed: Water (pH 5.9) + Cal-Mag + foliar feeding <-- I call this the "Healthy Snack"
3rd feed: Healthy Snack
Rinse and Repeat.
Last TDS runoff was 610 /pH 6.3 & I'm very happy about that! I'll work to get the runoff pH to 5.9 and go from there! Make sure you head over to my IG page: @ks_kultivation and let Natalie & Natasha know you're rooting 'em!

I finally got the tent "Dialed in" and the plants are taking off. I have a feeding schedule that's currently working and the substrate is drying faster requiring me to feed them every other day as opposed to waiting two days between feedings. Further I'll up the amount of water per feeding to 3 quarts since the last feeding of 2 quarts per plant didn't yield any runoff. Also since the main colas are starting to pistil the next feeding of nutes will include an entry level of micro Bloom. Last but not least my foliar mix consists of rain water and bloom (0.5ml per gallon).

Flowering came from out of nowhere but I am glad to see it. All of my readings for the plants as far as TDS and pH are pretty dialed in. We've been having a lot of rainstorms on the East coast which has been driving the humidity up like crazy also on the bloom light has raised the temperature in the tent (the temperatures have been running around 79 degrees during the daytime which is causing a bit of heat stress).
I've been scouring the internet for dehumidifiers however I've restrained from any purchases because of budgetary reasons. If you recommend a humidifier please put it in my comments!
The plants are looking really good and I plan on supplementing with CO2 soon and possibly a bloom supplement; Make sure you check out my IG page @KS_Kultivation and let the girls know that you are rooting for them.

Added CO2 suplimentation and up'd the nutes to 900ppm today; the runoff was 230ppm which means the plants appreciated the additional nutes & drank good; today's feeding of rain water, cal-mag, floraMicro, FloraGrow & FloraBloom was at a pH of 5.5 and the runoff pH was 6.6 (All exceptional numbers IMO).

Sorry guys but all my updates will be exclusively on instagram moving forward... I gave Grow Diaries a REAL CHANCE but I'm not a fan of it's mobile app or lack thereof. Also uploading pictures is super slow which blows my life. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I bid you farewell!
Now!!! Come to the dark side and show my IG some love.
