Northern Lights #5 XHaze

Regenwurm Unfortunately, the documentation is only starting now. But better late than never. After 30 days in the vegetative stage under LST (10 days) and then 3 weeks under a 250 Watt MH lamp on a classic 18/6 schedule, the ladies were sent into flowering. From day one, fresh air supply during the entire light period with 240 m3/h. No signs of deficiency or over-fertilization up to today. In week 3, 2 ladies were fimmed, 2 topped... more in a week.

Regenwurm Power of the HPS lamp increased from 400 watts in flowering week 1 to 450 watts in flowering week 2. Strength of the circulation fan slightly increased. For all 4 ladies on day 11 after initiating flowering, supercropping was done and defoliated in the lower third of the plants. pH fluctuated between 5.7 and 5.9. EC fluctuations between 0.7 and 1.0. Temperature difference from day to night about 4-5 degrees Celsius. Humidity max this week at 60%, which is now being lowered. No deficiency symptoms, growth is good. 3 out of 4 plants are growing evenly, 1 is about 10 cm smaller. In week 3, the spreader will be set to wide and the power increased to 500 watts. In week 2, the humidifier was removed from the tent and replaced with a dehumidifier for the night phases. CO2 levels are averaged from fresh air, as there is a constant supply of active intake air during the day phase (at night) to provide CO2 and cool the room.

Regenwurm Increased the power to 500 watts, lowered the distance of the light source to the plant to 30 cm. The ladies are sprouting everywhere. Did another defoliation since some buds were covered by leaves. Otherwise, not much to report, everything is healthy and developing very well. EC fluctuations 0.8-0.9, temperature fluctuations 19.0 at night, max 24.5 degrees during the day. Humidity fluctuations 40-50% RH.

Regenwurm Increasing the power to 540 watts. Fluctuations EC 0.8-1.0 for 2 days only rainwater with pH 5.9. Fluctuations temperature 19.0 at night, max 25.5 degrees during the day. Fluctuations RH 45-60% RH. (unfavorable weather outside)

Regenwurm The outside temperature is really playing in my favor for the flowering period. Constant fresh air from outside through a strong EC fan with a capacity of 240m3/hour via an airsock for the 12-hour lighting period. During the night phase, no active fresh air since there's no photosynthesis (outside temp = 0-5 degrees during the lighting phase, HID lamp without cooltube). In the tent, I increased the power of the HID lamp to 570 watts. Temperature fluctuations are 18 to 19 at night, 23-25.5 degrees during the day, humidity fluctuations 35-48%. EC value is constant in the finished watering water including nutrients at 1.1. pH value fluctuation 5.8 - 5.9. The strength of the active air circulation has been increased to maximum power. Everything was defoliated one last time this week. Resin production and smell are strong..... see you next week.

Regenwurm There's nothing extraordinary to report! You can tell it's slowly heading towards Harvest Day, as some leaves are turning light green..... since there are only 2-2.5 weeks left, I won't do anything about it, as this is relatively normal. Trichomes are still clear, with a few being 10% cloudy. Nutrient amount is set to the max according to the feeding schedule. Plants are developing perfectly, and you can now nicely observe how the buds are slowly changing color. pH fluctuation this week = 5.7-5.85.... EC increased to max according to Hesi feeding schedule, but with rainwater 1.35..... Temperatures between 18 and 24.5... Smell is very strong.

Regenwurm 1 day after this bloom week 80% of the trichomes are milky cloudy. Now there are about 10 days until the harvest. EC values 1.4 during this week with max. fertilizer amount according to Hesi schedule. Temperatures 0 degrees outside with active fresh air .... in the grow room therefore a bit colder at around 23 degrees during the day and 16-17 degrees at night. Air circulation at max level to give mold no chance. Humidity during the night max. 46% RH and 36 during the lighting. Buds feel firm and smell very strong.

Regenwurm Flushed one Airpot with 25 liters of water at pH 5.8. Kept going until the drain was around EC value 0.25. Then didn’t water for 3 days. The lady is now in autumn and all the leaves are turning light green, yellow, and purple! The trichomes are still cloudy! No discovery of brown trichomes, which is also not desired. It should create a nice active high when smoked, not too strong. Due to the differences between day and night temperatures and the low humidity of about 35% moisture, resin is being produced endlessly. Harvesting in 3-4 days😬😬😬😬 I'm excited!

Regenwurm At harvest, about 90% of all trichomes were cloudy/milky. The leaves beautifully changed color to pink/yellow/blue and green. All leaves were removed, and the buds were dried on a rack with stems. After 7 days at a temperature of 16-17 degrees and a relative humidity of 50-55%, they were stored in jars and a humidor. Boveda packs with 62% in each jar. Little leaf matter when trimming and hard, full buds.
