GG#4 red stems

The light being only 18 inches away may be contributing to your red stem problem. Mars 3000 is a powerful light, I like to run 30 inches away during germination until the second set of true leaves gets nicely developed, then I move down to 24 for a week, then to about 21 for the rest of veg.
