Welcome to my Blue Dream'Matic grow!
This is a 100% organic grow. I’m using 5lbs of Kind Soil in the bottom of a 5gal fabric pot with Coco Loco filled to the top. I’ll be using carbon filtered tap water with citric acid to bring the pH down to 7.0 or slightly below. Absolutely no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals!
For training, I will top above the 4th node and then use LST shortly after to keep a flat and even canopy. I’ll keep her nice and tidy with occasional defoliation.
My setup consists of:
• Spider Farmer 3x3x6 tent
• Spider Farmer SF-4000 LED
• AC Infinity S4 Inline Fan
• AC Infinity 4” Carbon Filter
• AC Infinity S9 Airplate (suspended above drivers)
• Genesis 6” Clip Fan (x2)
• SensorPush Wireless Hygrometer
Growing medium:
• 5 gallon fabric smart pot
• 5lbs of KindSoil in bottom of pot
• Topped off with FoxFarm Coco Loco on top
✅Day 1: Added 128oz of water evenly across the top of the pot to make the top half damp. Then I made a hole and planted the seed with its tap root down.
✅Day 2: 5oz of water to keep things nice and damp around the seeding.
✅Day 3: 5oz of water to keep things nice and damp around the seeding.
✅Day 4: 16oz of water. Things were getting a bit dry. She seems very happy.
✅Day 5: No water. Everything is going nice and smoothly so far. No problems.
✅Day 6: 16oz of water. The pot was back to its dry weight and she was ready for more.
✅Day 7: No water. Excellent growth for week 1. No issues at all and off to a great start!

Week #1 was flawless with rapid and healthy growth. No issues at all. Starting week #2 with her 3rd node coming in nicely.

✅Day 9: 16oz of water.
✅Day 10: No water.
✅Day 11: 16oz of water.
✅Day 12: No water.
✅Day 13: 16oz of water.
✅Day 14: No water.
Another flawless week. Everything is going perfect and she has a very pleasant earthy smell when you get close. Finished week #2 with her 5th node coming in nicely; I need it to develop a little bit more before I can top it.
Welcome to week 3!
The first two weeks were flawless with rapid and healthy growth. No issues at all. Starting week #3 with a topping above the 4th node!
✅Day 15: 32oz of water. Her 5th node was developed enough for me to get in and top above the 4th node. ✂️
✅Day 16: No water. The topping didn’t faze her one bit. Defoliated each fan leaf at the base of each node. ✂️
✅Day 17: No water. Growth may have slowed a bit after yesterday’s heavy defoliation, but still looking strong. 💪
✅Day 18: 32oz of water.
✅Day 19: No water.
✅Day 20: 32oz of water.
✅Day 21: No water.
Welcome to week 4 / week 1 of flowering!
She has officially started flowering by the start of week 4. The first 3 weeks have gone perfectly with zero issues. After getting topped at the beginning of week 3, she was now ready for a healthy dose of LST.
✅Day 22: 32oz of water. Applied heavy LST to get her nice and flat and spread out.
✅Day 23: No water. Excellent recovery from the LST and filling out nicely now. 👍
✅Day 24: No water. She started looking very droopy today. Maybe under watered.
✅Day 25: 64oz of water. She perked up a bit by the end of the day.
✅Day 26: No water. Keeping an eye to make sure she doesn’t start drooping again.
✅Day 27: No water. She was starting to look a little droopy again and the pot is very light.
✅Day 28: 96oz of water.

Starting week #5 in full stretch mode. She started stretching good about 2 days ago. The canopy is getting a bit uneven. Might do some light LST this week to even it back out.

She stretched like crazy the past 10 days, but it has slowed down now as we enter week #6. Everything has gone very smoothly so far. I will probably do some defoliation this week because it’s getting crowded in the middle.

✅Day 38: 96oz of water. Defoliated bottom and center.

She has been growing perfectly so far. No more vertical growth. Looking for lots of horizontal growth now as those buds start fattening up!

✅Day 47: 128oz of water. The pot was bone dry, but there was a tiny bit of runoff. Stick to a max of 96oz of water at any one time.

Heading into week 5 of flowering now. Her buds continue to fatten up nicely and starting to show a blue tint.

She is getting close to harvest now! Some nice fall colors starting to show up in the fade. 🍁
I got some good trichome photos on day 60 which were mostly all cloudy with only a very few of them beginning to turn amber.
I’m aiming for an uplifting smoke on this one, so I’ll keep a close eye on the trichomes from this point and harvest as soon as I see a few that turned full amber.
✅Day 57: No water. Trimmed off several fan leaves at the bottom that were dead or dying to free up air flow and make space. She was getting very compact and tight in the lower center. Buds in that area had no space to grow. I shouldn’t have waited this long to defoliate that area.

She loves nutes and drinks like a fish. The smell off this plant is incredible, your in for a treat.

@@Canamatoes, thanks so much. 🙏 I was following your recent Blueberry and Blue Dream'Matic diaries very closely. I had a Blueberry growing at the same time. Congrats again on those grows, they were outstanding.
This girl handled yesterday’s topping like a pro. So today I did a heavy defoliation to expose those bud sites. She looks small and pathetic now, but I know it will pay off come harvest time! 👍
@GrowmieDeLaStreet, thanks! Not too much I can do about. This is an all organic grow. The bottom third of the pot is super soil. If it’s too rich, she can pull her roots back from it.
