So last year when I harvested Blueberry by seedsman, I used my trims for mulch. With Michigan's weather being know for being crazy during March we had a surge of high temps between 60 to upper 70s. Vegetations around our homestead started to bloom and one day when I went out to reamend the pots I notices these Gals sprouted. The 25 Gallon has been in service for 3 years along with my 30 Gallons and 10 gallon. FYI more pots will be out as the weather breaks so expect names to be used in the further.
Week 2 is full of mystery from the rain water we've been using. Probably start feeding the girls once May hit and sprinkle some Mother's day dust on the gals. We also had a seed sprout I planted over the weekend I found in a Ounce bag I had from Utopia Gardens. Blue Cheese is the strain and hopefully this baby gets right cause the smoke was amazing. Next We had more sprouts come from 30 Gallon pot so were going to have a hell of a battle in the 30 gal smart pot ring.
Week 3 and still haven't real used any nutrients expect a little Rhizotonic with rain water. The 25 gallon is looking strong and that 30 gallon pot looks like a royal rumble is about to go down. I might transplant those twins to another pot and do another wired experiment but ahh. Slow motion so far but next week were going to get the pest control out and start early on our pest management. Long veg cycle for this 2nd generation blue berry but it's ok cause the mother last year was a tough ol S.O.B. Stay tuned fellas DBG
This week got cold and we got worried and decided to cover the girls up with some plastics for 2 days. I ended up routing my dryer vent to the Blue Cheese and Purple Punch (In my other dairies) Just for some extra heat to help throughout the night, With the prayer from the grow gods above, my girls made it. The weather for Next week is warming up so i'm prepping some tea for them to drink next weekend. Some might say I started way to early but I happen to look outside one morning and notice they started to bud. I couldn't help but raise these beauties to be queen.
Questions: Should I repot the plants that are close to each other in the 25 gallon & 30 gallon Pots??
This week has been nice to us in the mitten. Feed these baby's a lil bit of top dressing of neem seed meal and rain water. I order a 55 gallon brewing stand to keep the organic tea's going throughout our grow. The Blue Cheese from Utopia Gardens is coming along and the tallest girl is the seedsman blueberry from the trims i was telling you guys about. Veg cycle is about to be very long since these were my March Babies and fought through chilling temps till this point. Can't wait to see what these gal's look like on mothers days better yet can't wait till these girls hit harvest.
This week the temp look like there dropping again but hopefully the black mulch retains heat from the dryer vents keep the gal’s warm until day break. Just rain water and sunlight been used until temps Start to pick up.
25 gallon pot:
I LST & HST trained my tallest Blueberry second generation (7.5 Inches)
The short one been filling out nicely, hope see ready to get trained next week
30 Gallon pot:
Another seedsman second generations strain and they have been adjusting to the Mitten’s weather. The twins are being LST rapping around the green poles I have. While the solo one is taking up space to become a dank mommy come August/September. Haven’t been using Nutrients or Tea on my no till pots. I’m confident my dry amendments I put in earlier this year are supplying my girls with what they need. There is a feeding coming shortly thou once I dry the pots out (Which has been difficult due to the adverse weather conditions/ check out the temps for this week.)
Blue Cheese (Utopia Garden’s Detroit):
This ten gallon (Maybe 7 I’m pretty sure 10 thou) sleeper has been chilling adjusting well to the temps. She might be small but she’s holding her own. When I saw Ric this weekend in Detroit, he took me back to Utopia Gardens to purchase more Blue Cheese. Smoke all weekend and I was amazed by the bag appeal and the sweet citrus/Pine notes I was tasting. Had me thinking like damn that some dank shit. Thinking about her outdoor soaking in the sunrays from the skies above. Rest to sure were going to train her to be a beast.(Currently Toking some Blue Cheese with a BONG)
