Popped 3 Skywalker's, looking forward to seeing what they bring
My plan was to transplant into 6 gallons of soil on/around day 5 but these seemed to go a little slower than my last grow. Perhaps because I was more careful not to overwater in the solo cup this time, or maybe it's just the strain. Anyway, these finished week 1 in the cup
On day 8 I thought I'd try bottom watering and underestimated how much water would wick up through the cups. The leaves began to claw immediately — lesson learned
Day 10
Leaves looking better, but still clawed. New growth seems ok
- transplanted into ~6 gallons of recharged 'water only soil'
Day 12
First set of leaves still clawed but new growth continues with no signs of stunting
Day 16
Light has been lowered an inch or two every couple days and is now at 20 inches from the top of the plants.
The widest 'canopy' is just shy of 5 inches
Starting week 4 with white pistils, leaf tucking, and an issue, either pest or deficiency
Numerous bud sites forming by day 25. Started LST on all three plants by the end of week 4
Began adding molasses (1 Tbsp/Gal) to water and the plants really seem to like it
With LST all plants are held down to about 8" tall
Defoliated the few lower leaves that were touching the soil and not getting much light, maybe ten leaves total
Raised the lights as some of the leaves were 'praying' which looking through past grows, seems to be common with this strain
Continuing to water with molasses
Easy grow and enough in the jars to start experimenting a little more goin forward
There were some very slender and spiky 3,4&5 leaf formations that didn't seem to cause too much trouble. 2/3 were extremely bushy and the other taller and more open.Trimming was a breeze, except for the scissors gettin all gummed up. The taller/open structure pheno produced noticably denser buds
