well things are going really bad, some suggestions are welcomed :( 3 of them are far behind, I can't see any sign of development this week, don't really know what to do at this stage.

Hi, I've seen today (second week) that 3 of the five (the smaller ones) kinda stopped growing and also roots are not growing out of Jeffy, Also planted all of them in soil today. I can post pictures if needed. Any idea?

Looking at the pics i would say it's because they've been kept to wet and starved you're roots of oxygen, causing the problems. If you're in soil you're P.H wants to be a little higher ( 6.0 - 7.0 ) and let pot dry every time before watering until you get 10 - 20 % extra run off, you can measure this to keep P.H and E.C at acceptable levels at root ball !! Try here for more info, Hope this helps !! http://www.growweedeasy.com/how-often-water-marijuana

Based on the pictures it’s hard to say. Are they always that wet or was this a watering day. In general the mesh will hold the roots in for a few days and that might have been why you didn’t see all of them breaking through.

Hey brother! In my opinion, and beeing right true with you, fuck jiffys bro. They just bring trouble to the little seedlings. And you can see that by now ;) You have some burned seedlings, probably cause the acid ph that they bring, and thats not so good in this stage. And I see some other things you shouldn't do. 300w for seedlings bro... is too much light. They don't need all that amount, and you're just spending money in electricity that you dont need to spend by now. Some t5s will do the job till the plants have some 4 pairs of leaves. Another thing... NO nutrients by now. You can kill them with an hell of a burn and your soil will have the nutrients they need now. You can cause a lot of stress on your little seedlings and they cannot handle so much trouble... Take care mate. Any question just ask ok? People are here to help and share knowledge :) Keep it up mate, take it easy ;)

Take it easy mate, they have suffer some stress and in that stage, they are sooo fragile.. take it easy, dont give nutrients by now, and be careful with the water you're giving them, let the soil dry for a bit. A few more days and you'll see that will survive :)

I've just been reading this - Each week, High Times Cultivation Editor Nico Escondido brings us three beginner grow tips to help ease the novice cultivator into the art of growing. Today, we cover topping, water stress and the inner-workings of the root zone. Topping To Increase Overall Yield Beginner Grow Tips: Topping, Water Stress & the Root Zone “Topping” plants, or cutting off the top terminal shoot, results in multiple top shoots growing out directly under the cut. Beginner Grow Tips: This will increase the number of top colas and the overall yield of your plants. How Water Stress Affects Plants Beginner Grow Tips: Topping, Water Stress & the Root Zone Water stress is the lack of water, or too much water, for a plant. The former results in wilting, with dry, crumbly leaves; whereas the latter causes drooping of moist, heavy, sagging leaves. Beginner Grow Tips: This stress causes abscisic acid to build up and closes down stomata in leaves, thereby slowing photosynthesis to a crawl. There is a shift from leaf production to root production during the dark cycle as leaves transfer stored energy down to the root zone. Beginner Grow Tips: Shut down supplemental CO2 during this time and boost oxygen to the root zone. It’s one piece of advice you’ll be glad that you remembered!
