BAM!!! 😝 Big shout out to @pevseeds, pretty cool packages! 😎😎 Really excited to get started on these beauties... 😁 First, I like to give the seeds a very light sanding before I drop them in the pool. It seems to help with weakening of the shell to soak in the water. After 18hrs, carefully drain the seeds and cover them up in a non-bleach coffee filter (Less fibres then paper towel). I used a heat mat and covered the plate up with a towel. Becareful of the temps of your heat mat... almost had baked seeds😵 One of the girls shell fell off as soon as I had moved the filter... and yes, panic did set in 😂 So, the only thought I had left.... seeds belong in dirt! Carefully, wearing gloves I placed the seed and the other misfit about 1/2 in down, gave a drop or two of water, placed them on the heat mat..... BAM!!!😍 See ya week 2!

Fast week!!! The girls are doing fantastic😺 They are growing like weeds... 😂 I placed them on the heat mat, temp set for 20 C (68 F), and they enjoyed a week of 75w led with 4 led UV light. Only gave them a little bit of water, enough to make the outside soil wet every 2nd day due to the heat mat drying them out faster. I did add a fan (on low) to strengthen the stem and to blow away any little pest if they try to move in!😈 Soil mixture is kryptonite, perlite, and some organic pro-mix. Kryptonite is way to hot for young roots by itself... adding pro-mix and perlite certainly balances the nutrients. I just use tap water which is pH 7 (Neutral) and the soil adjust the pH usually around 6.5😀 The girls are in competition with their sisters.... WC.... I believe they'll catch and pass them...😵 Enjoy! 😁😝

Big Bud Baby!!!💪 Alright, just like that.... BAM! Transplant week is here!👌 The Big girls took off in their cups... leaves out past the cup edge is my go to for transplanting. When I do any sort of transplanting.... I like to have the soil nice and moist... maybe sometimes a little too moist... helps keep the roots and soil together when the cups get removed. I got a little to excited (high) and forgot the pics of the roots.... 😵 I also like to use empty solo cups when getting everything ready 😛 My main tent isn't available for a couple of weeks, so they're going in smaller 3 gallon pots for now.... side tent will only hold that size. Using a 600w led burple light that equals out to 210w... I think. It's not bad for early stages... but would rather the main 😎 Giving them about 250ml every 3-4 days Ba-BAM!!! Next week awaits! 😜

New week! woohoo..... I think 😝 The big bud girls recovered well from the transplant... about 1 1/2 days. I'm still giving about 250ml water, but I believe shortly I'll be doubling! Even though I'm having a tiny heat problem... or lack of... I'm not really liking the 16-17 C temps.... I just keep telling myself it's a spring night 😜 Once they get in the main, temp will be good. As you can see in the photos, each girl are already showing different traits... one has their nodes very close... and the other has a nice stretch... I do plan on manifolding/mainlining, so the early nodes don't mean much... will be interesting to see the spacing later on in the grow 😵 Still just adding water... I do love this soil 😍 Next week the girls should be topped and possibly cleaned up. Stay tuned!!! 😎

Big Bud... Bid Bud.... why you so big bud... 😜 I love these 'hands on' kinda weeks! The tools get cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol, the tops get clipped with the tools... the mineral wool gets the tops! 😂 The girls are drinking 500ml of water every 2-3 days. I just need to get a better fan to strength the stems up... When the 5th nodes start to show, I like to top at the 3rd node. I never have good luck with cloning tops... but I will never stop trying😁. I use honey as the hormone agent, and going with the mineral wool once again. I'll let them recover 2-3 days, then clean up the bottoms if the clones are ready to go... if not, I'll at least get rid of the small slow growing arms.👍 I would say by next week, the heavy training begins. Stay tuned... Stay stoned! 😵

What a big week! 😵 There's a lot going on, so lets get at it.... The week started off good from the topping being done👍. After a couple of days of recovery, cleaned up the bottom nodes, but left the big ol' solar panel leaves a bit longer... usually I take everything when cleaning up, but saw this done and wanted to give it a try. 👊 A couple of more days of recovery then started training the 2 nodes to grow horizontally for the mainline. I use two different methods for holding down the arms... with garden ties (green) or the stakes themselves👈. Now, the next couple of days is where I might have made a slight mistake....😲 I usually top again as soon as I SEE the 2nd set of nodes on the new arms... (Top at the first set), but this time I thought I would give them a couple of more days then top... NOPE! 👺 All that did was waste two days of recovery/growth because the energy went to the main top instead of the 1st set of nodes. So... snip! We now have 4 tops! 😜 All the mistake really did was add to my veg time. I was planning on topping one more time to give me 8, but not sure if I have the veg turn around time.... 😕 If they recover quickly and grow as quick, then we might have 8 new arms!!! I'm watering 500ml every 3 days due to recovery... soon they'll want more. I don't mention the pH much... that's due to the organic soil balancing out the plain tap water... which has a neutral pH 7. I have to say it makes for easier growing 😀. BAM!!! Until we meet again! 😁

Main tent week!!! 😆 The Sun is a 315w CMH and 1800w COB lights. Big Bud is going to like this new home... all the room to get big.... 8 cola big! 💪 A couple of days of growth, I have to top again at the first node on the new arms... my other grows, I waited until the 3rd node... but that just doesn't fit into my timeline. Not much difference in the pheno types.... one's short and fat... and the other is tall and maybe get fat... 😅 I started watering them one litre every 3rd day... Cloth pots and higher heat will always make them extra thirsty. Next week I'll probably transplant into bigger pots.... and maybe switch to 12/12 light at the end of the week 😵 A couple of the leaves have marks on them... It's not from a deficiency, it's from my stupid ass spraying preventive spray with the light on...😂 Had some aphids on the last grow and was just making sure I don't get them again. 👍 The Big Bud strain from Pev Seeds seem to be growing great under stress. Organic Super Soil... just add water... pH 7... See ya's next week... 👌

Another big week!😁 First of all... great seeds so far from PEV!👍 I've been stressing, chopping, bending, spraying, transplanting, and they bounce back just so fast! Started out the week with training on one, and the second one a couple of days later. Since they're growing so fast, I transplanted them into bigger (7 Gallon) forever homes. 😎 Added new Kryptonite Soil to the bottom and sides, and also as a top dressing. Unfortunately, I did run out, but there is enough there to bring them to harvest... as long as I switch them in the next week to 10 days. On the transplant now... I almost completely screwed them up.👺 I gave them a good litre of water about 3-4 hours before I started. I figured that should get the soil moist but not wet. I also watered them from the bottom up using the pots to wick up the water on the sides... well, that was wrong or I didn't give enough water or both.... when I slowly tried to pry the cloth pot off (roots do stick to pot) it fell apart about a good 25%... I guess that's what you call root pruning technique...😂😅😳😢😭 Now, a normal grower would let them recover... hell no,😈 lets give them so water and clip off new growth! This technique of clipping off just the new arms and not their fan leaves... I guess all the energy is directed to the top growth and less stress because you're not cutting as much off.👌 Let's see how they recover after a good week of chaos in the tent!😂 Not completely sure on how much water they had since I gave them extra, but starting out in the new pots, (which are not cloth) the girls will be getting 2 litres every 3 days! Well, I guess I'll see ya's next week hopefully with plants.. 😂

Last week of Veg!!!!😎 Another great and stressful week...😵 couple of rest days, a couple of shoots snipped, rest again, and decided to flip on the last day to 12/12 cycle😲. Usually I like to give them a good full week of rest before switching them to flower... but so far, they seem really, really resistant. 💪 As you can see from the pics, I clipped another set of nodes but left the fan leaves. This will be the last clip... if I left the shoots, I believe they would have grown as satellite arms and steal energy from the main cola... yep... that's what I believe.😁 After nine weeks, you would hope for them to be taller... right? I wanted to keep them this size so I don't have to worry about them out growing the tent and the lights. Been there, done that... Also, easy to keep fans on them for better air flow. The girls are developing their canopies very nicely though. Trying to keep arms the same height by tying them down... plant bondage... some call this LST, but because I clipped the shoots and tied them down, gonna have to knock it off as HST 😂. Half way through the week, I switched them to 24 hrs of light to help with recovery. On the 6th day, they went for their very first sleep of 12/12 hrs. The last couple of pics shows them just waking up from it... Watered them twice... 1st watering only gave them 1L. 4 days later I gave them 2L... Giving them a drying out period seems to be working for the girls 😜 Still using plain tap water which is pH 7... the soil regulates it to 6.5 pH. Now the excitement starts... 😁 Cya's next week!

Flower WEEK!!! Chaos in the tent😈!!! The BB Cousins Wedding Cake.... one grew nuts😲!!! Can't have him pollinating all over the girls... So, off he went😂😅😭! Since I was adding two clones of WC to the tent... Might as well add two BB's... Yeah Baby! Alright, The girls are growing nicely... little shorter then their cousin, which is a little surprise... maybe they don't like mainlining😐. Let's see if they catch up over the weeks... challenge on!💪 They're drinking 2L every 4 days, with little runoff... maybe 5%... With organics, you don't want to lose to much nutrients to runoff... If I had my bigger cloth pots, I wouldn't be worrying about it. As the pics show, all eight tops on both girls are loving the new time schedule (12/12). Satellite arms are looking good also... not sure if they're staying or not😈. Added tomato rings instead of going with the net and scrog... easier to water and adjust. Like I said early, I added two clones of BB to the tent. They are in 2 gallon pots I think... I have a third clone... but she is a surprise for later on in this grow😁. Not sure if it's too early to switch the clones, but lets top them and test, test, test... 👍. So curious on the next week ahead... Cya's then!😎

One week makes a difference!😎 The girls shot up a good 6 inches this week... and their not slowing down 💪. Each day more and more of their white caps start showing... all the little extra budsites.... satellite arms... the works! The BB's are really stacking nice too! I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the lowest nodes (satellite), but most of them took off, so I decided to keep them... I will be removing all the larf going up but leaving the fan leaves in the coming days. I'm learning from past grows that it's just wasted energy, the satellite arms never really stack but produce a good size nugget with garbage larf below.... so, OFF WITH THE LARF! 😂 They are drinking a good solid 2L every 4 days👍. I could give them a little more and a little more often, but also learned that the first three weeks of stretch, they're still building a strong root system... so might as well make them work hard for the water and get them ready for the magic... I know soon, it's going to be a water fest😁. I switched them around in the tent... was going to leave them under one light each with spill off... but got high and BAM... moved them😂😵. Not going to talk much about the clones yet... not much going on. Have to say... Big Bud from PEVSeeds... they keep impressing me with their growth! Great Job so far!👌 Stay safe everyone and Happy Holidays!!!

3rd week defoliation!😎 The Big Buds are looking fantastic! They're getting their fat hats quickly which makes me rethink if I should really strip them down or remove just a few to avoid shock.👈👉 HAH... their stripped...😂 I don't really think they come out of shock since I pick the shit out of them😝 ! I usually do more defoliation the last week before 12/12, but this time, since I left alot of fan leaves when I removed the shoots, I figured this would be the best time to strip them clean... when they're in full bloom.😲 Betcha a few out there is just cringing right now.... it's cool... we testing here!!👍💪😎 BB's are not quite as tall as their cousin WC, but the stretch is not over yet... maybe it is! Their hats are certainly a lot fatter looking and if they keep stacking like this... gonna have some BIG BUDS😂😅😭!!! They drink around the same as last couple of weeks... 2-3L every 3-4 days... when I stop picking at them, I would imagine they will want to drink more. I threw a couple of their clones in with them... had to test how hard it was to clone them.... 100% easy! Now, in much smaller pots, and a topping the same day they enter 12/12... gonna see how they grow besides their moms!👏 BB's made Baby BB's... fuck... a lot of B's😳!!!! Until we meet again! Stay safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!🙌

Fun Week!😳 This was the week to sit back, relax... watch the weeds grow... BAM!!! Fuckin' Thrips!!!!!!! 😡👺 My previous grow had little bit of thrips going on... I really thought I gave the tent a good cleaning... even washed the cloth filter that goes over the charcoal filter. 😳 Oh well, half the time I'm worse for my plants then the bugs are 😂😅😭. I like to mix 1 part 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and 4 parts water... give the leaves a good spray under and on top. I found if I used anything else while flowering, the smell of the product would stick to the trichomes. I'll probably add just a drop of insecticidal soap to the mix on the next spray... just to be sure... just have to be careful of the blooming buds. I did remove the leaves that had the damage... which was just a couple... help with the spread. The girls have been drinking alot more now. 3L every 2-3 days... I expected that to increase more yet.😁 I'm still just using water... soil is taking care of the rest. Since they stop the stretch... for the most part... I haven't moved the light any farther away then 18 inches... there is no burn on the pistels... yeah baby!!!😎 I'll take care of the thrips... and cya's next week! 😱

Ok, Now that's out of the way, let's go! 😝 Not much to report this week... finally! I believe the thripes are under control...👌 I have sprayed under and on top of the leaves. shielded the buds with my hand when I was spraying. Even though the mixture is 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and water... I don't like to take any chances... might end up with bud rot or some stupid like that. Removed a leaf here or there, nothing to crazy... that's next week.😂 Like I said last week, should be smoother sailing from here on in... one more defoliation then nothing but buds. 😁 Giving them a solid 3L of water every third day... that may change in the coming days as the pots are a little lighter on the 3rd day then I like. Any spots you see on the leaves is from my dum dum move of spraying with lights on 😂😅 It's a pretty green tent... nothing changing color... until I drop the temps to 15-16C 😜 but that isn't until the final week. The colors are from the LED light... BAM!!! Thanks for playing😳

6th week defoliation time!!!👊 Another week down with really no issues... which is awesome! There are techniques out there that a lot of peeps question or even cringe over.😠 One of them is defoliation! I've tried it before on previous grows... some strains like it and some don't. If you find a strain that does, well in my limited experience, I believe there is certainly a difference.😁 For this grow, I won't know until it's harvest time, but with a bit of research of the strain, I think they're good to go. "Off with their leaves!"😂 With the Big Bud strain, and mainlining, their eight colas have fairly nice stacking going on. By removing most of the big fan leaves, it provides better lighting and air flow... and that should help them get nice and fat!!!🙀 I will leave a few fan leaves to remove later. The thripes still seem to be under control. I see no new damage to non-damaged leaves... but once again, not gone, only the illusion of it. The girls still steady pace of 3L every thrid day... except the last watering... they waited until four days because I forgot!😅 I do have to say that so far, the Big Bud strain from @pevseed are tough as nails.💪 Everything from topping, stripping, to crotch crickets... they never missed a beat! Hat's off to ya's!!!👊👍👌 Oh yeah, I still only give them water... that's it, that's all, BAM!!! Happy Growing!😀

Week #7😎 Big Bud strain is starting to spoil me... with next to no problems besides the ones I created, the girls are certainly awesome to grow!👌 So far, this is my experience/opinion of Big Bud by @PEVBankSeeds Germination = 😁 Seedling + Transplanting = 😁 Cloning =😃 Training = 😁 Smell = Strong Fruity (Juicy Fruit Gum) =😍 Bud Hardness (Growing) = 😄 Feminized Seed = 😁 I will certainly update more at harvest time, which I believe could be coming this weekend!👍 As you can see from the pictures, there is quite a few clear ones among the milky/amber trichomes. As you move from the top to the lower buds, less and less amber. Even though the whole tent isn't ready for harvest, I'm going to be lowering the temp for the next couple of days to see if I can trick the girls into finishing up and maybe ooze out some resin... Good luck to the rest of the tent!😂 Big Bud has last been watered day 49, and because they are growing in organic soil, the girls don't need to be flushed. I was told that I could even flush organics and that would make it even better... I might try this time.😜 Let's move on to the damn thrips and spidermites...😡 Haven't seen really any new damage on the leaves.👌 The clones don't seem to have any damage either. I know they're still around. I'll give the buds a good wash at trimming time! Before my next grow I think I'll burn the tent down and be done with those bastards!👺 On that note, Happy Growing!😝

Wow... Great Week!!!😎 First things first... WOOO HOOO!!!! IT'S HARVEST TIME!!! After last week update, I knew I would be harvesting in a couple of days. She finished up fast... a lot more amber trichomes then I wanted but hey, I'll just sink into the couch farther!😂😅 I am really amazed on how tight the buds were when wet and dry. I always like to trim when wet... I tried dry trimming before, just wasn't as fun.😝 I usually trim then do the wet weight, this time I just threw it all on... excitement got me!😵 Best part about mainlining that I like is that you know how many nice tops you will have and some nice nugs below.😎 Big Bud didn't argue at all with all the topping and defoliation. I think next time after I get the eight arms, I'll let her veg for an extra week... I believe the buds would be even bigger baby!!!😁 I feel she dried too fast.. 5 days and the twigs are snapping clean... Tried my best with the humidity and temps, but it's that time of year where everything is so dry. 😳 She has no hay smell and the first puff from the vape, besides the 'green taste' it's kinda spicy... almost peppery??? She does then have a fruity taste... like juicy fruit gum... if ya know the taste of that😂. I give a better update when she's cured.... 132.3 Grams... Thank You @pevbankseeds 😁👍 Germination = 😁 Seedling + Transplanting = 😁 Cloning =😃 Training = 😁 Smell = Strong Fruity (Juicy Fruit Gum) =😍 Bud Hardness (Growing+Dry) = 😁 Feminized Seed = 😁 Vaping = 😍 Overall = 😁 👍 Update: 03/03/2021 Well.... the more it cures, the more citrus flavor coming out! 👉😍👈 I'm not sure how it burns since I vape, but it certainly has a very clean taste. It certainly feels more of an energy high... which is fantastic!!! Can't wait to grow these girls again... great job @pevseeds!👍👍
