This is definitely a couch lock, and only takes a few hits to feel it. Very smooth taste and not harsh what so ever, nice one for a first grow.

Reviews. Nutrient
First time user, didn't get the Vega series only the Flores so I used that the whole way though the grow with some other nutrients. Maybe added a little too much at the start before I got my PH and TDS meters but after that everything went in the right direction and was a successful first grow :)

I got the seeds from a local dealer so I was unsure what type of strain it was but he told me it was a Gorilla Glue Auto flower so I just went with that. That is why in the first few weeks I set my lights on a 20/4 lights on and off schedule. Around 7 weeks in my grow the guy I got it from said that his flowered when he switched his light to 12/12 so I kinda doubt that it's an auto and maybe it is just a photo. I then switched the lights to 16/8 just because I heard it is better to give them more rest and is better on electric. When I thought that the plant was big enough to go into flowering I just flipped the switch to 12/12 and two weeks later it started flowering so I don't know if it was just time for the plant to start flower or the flip. But in the end I got a weight of 1500 grams wet weight with the stems on and a dry weight of 215.56 grams of just straight bud so at the end it was very good considering the light I have and ran into some problems on the way.0000

Getting some brown dots on a couple leaves on my plant ;( cal-mag deficiency? What do you think?

Heat Stress This damage looks alot like nutrient burn, except it occurs only at the tops of the plants closest to the lamps. Nutrient Burn the plants have all the nutrients they can possibly use, and thereโ€™s a slight excess. Back off the concentration of the nutrient solution just a touch, and the problem should disappear. PH Problem it is due to the pH being off. Too high or too low a pH can lock up nutrients in the form of undisolvable salts and compounds, some of which are actually toxic to the plants

The leaves have perked back up since I had started to change the ph of my water now, but now the leaf tips are yellow and some are pointing down and some upwards, I have shown the ppm that my reservoir is at.

From what I can tell from the photos it looks like a nitrogen deficiency. You are in the last weeks of flower I donโ€™t really see any reason to increase your nitrogen levels and I would however decrease your daytime air temperature if at all possible. 88ยฐF is pretty high.

Burn it, burn it, what to burn from a plant already burned? :) I hope you to like the lyrics because plant are not enjoying at all the burning. Anyway you loose and i believe as I see it that at the end is going to make you feel very happy. A question, you never defoliate the leaves from the bottom and from the insides of the plants?

Yellow leaf tips and curling are signs of nutrient burn. 690 is not a high ppm, but autos typically prefer lower nutrient levels. You may want to try backing down on nutes. The damaged leaves will not change but you should stop seeing new leaves affected

@DudeGrowsWeed Okay thank you ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป it was in the 1000โ€™s before but it has been hot so the plant has been eating a lot more, didnโ€™t know autos preferred lower ppms thank you โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿป.

There looking good, just correct you're PH, also i would get a cover for the top to stop light getting to you're root's which will encourage algae growth among other probs !!

As I told you before, check my diary "Micro Grow 60W Run #1" on the 4th week you can see the same curling of the leaves, well almost every week shows the same symptom

@DevokeOG, wrong pH can have a multitude of symptoms, including weird spots, yellowing, phantom deficiencies (nutes are locked out because the plant can't absorb them in the current pH). While it is possible that there is a deficiency, it is way more likely that your pH is the root of everything you are seeing. If you don't have a pH down solution, in the mean time you can try with apple vinegar to lower your pH. Which is what organic growers recommend to use.

@@Athos,Yeah I see what you mean, think thatโ€™s what is causing the brown dots tho?

Are u sure this is hydro it looks like nft setup?
biggreens420
biggreens420commented7 years ago
@DevokeOG,you could get a nutrient chiller and hope you sort it you definitely need to cover the roots good luck
DevokeOG
DevokeOGcommented7 years ago
@biggreens420, Yes it is a nft setup but I am sure it is a type of hydroponic system, wasn't a setting for it unless it falls under soiless. No I haven't been covering the roots or the rockwool so quite abit of algae has formed onto them, might try that black bin bag method that Athos was talking about xD since I did lose the correx sheet, don't really know how to keep the water cool thoughout the system either but I will do some research on it :).

Doing well for you're first grow ๐Ÿ‘ One hell of a learning curve dude ๐Ÿ‘ŠI'm topping for first time and that 's been hard enough ( seems wrong to chop tip off !! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ) Not sure about ppm's in hydro, seems very low to me !! It could be as a result of P.H fluctuating out of range, which can cause problems to manifest as almost anything. I don't think it the start of nute burn but i'm no expert with hydro grows pal. Looking at the pics it's hard to tell but it looks like it could do with a higher PPM ( I'm was at 1600 in soil, similar in hydro with Shogun ) but i have VERY limited knowledge on hydro growing and use soil because it is more forgiving !! Sorry i can't be much help bro, but go to http://www.growweedeasy.com i go there to get info in a way i can understand !!๐Ÿ™ but i'm sure someone on GD will know and answer you're question ๐Ÿ‘ Good luck with the rest of the grow !!
DevokeOG
DevokeOGcommented7 years ago
@Chameleon,Thank you, i'm not really sure how much ppm I should have either but it seems like everyone else is going for something in the 1000's but i was gonna increase it by 250 every week, should I keep topping my reservoir up with my nutrient to get it back up or do you have to wait for it to go down and just change out my reservoir every week or so? my plant could be still recovering from when my ph was still abit high since I only started to work on it a couple days ago but I don't think that the leaves were curling like that before. I also thought about topping mine but it is almost forbidden to do so with autos but i guess it is too late now that I have started flowering, but don't worry your plant will recover from it and in the long run produce better quality buds instead of letting it do it's thing, your plant it pretty big now from when I last looked at it lmao, good luck with yours too mate ;D
