Took the water bottle dome off around D4. It's growing steadily every day and am looking forward to seeing it continue this week. Going to start watering with easy grow tabs from RQS and root juice.
D9: Watered without nutes. The span of the leaves is growing quickly though.
D11: Noticing some discoloration but otherwise looking okay. Will keep an eye on the measurements before feeding and transplanting this weekend.
D12: Added more distance from the light 40cm - 60cm. Also switching to 18/6 from 24/0 to give the growth some time to rest. Noticing some slight leaf curling so possibly too much light.
Transplanted to their final pots this weekend from the solo cups.
Seeing steady growth for sure and am one of those people that's watching them grow all day. I've put a small fan overhead to increase airflow and strengthen up the stems.
Added a PH, lite, and wetness meter the PH definitely needs to be dialed down. Runoff was pretty near to 7 so going to bring it down in the next feeding on D19.
Things look like they are balancing out ahead of the next feeding (tomorrow D19). Will start the biobizz nutrient schedule at 1/4-1/2 recommended measurements.
Really great week over the last few days! They are stretching beautifully and the heat and constant fanning for airflow is serving them well. I'm seeing some clawing so might have a nitrogen issue but everything else seems to be balanced. I'm co-growing with a Royal Creamtic Auto and they are getting super fragrant. Every time I check on them I'm hit with a really subtle but welcome waft.
Two plants are for sure going to fill up the 60cm x 60cm space.Noticed a few pests so going to spray with Cannacure this week. Really loving this grow so far and as a first-time grower relatively easy so far.
Day 26: we have pistils!
Pistils showed up on D26 of last week and she is stretching really nicely. Starting to get really fragrant every time I check on them. I've managed to keep the temperature and RH right where I want it but am adding an additional small fan to help keep it that way. Responding really well to the nutes being dialed down.
Very happy with this grow so far. It's starting to flower nicely and had a really good stretch last week going from 40cm to 60cm. I'm keeping the nitrogen feeding at 50%-75% of what is recommended because there were definite signs of nitrogen toxicity. Had some humidity trouble last week but that's my bad for not making sure my trays were emptied after watering.
Did some minor LST last week to contain the shape in the grow space and both plants (co growing with Royal Crematic from RQS) responded perfectly - already getting ideas for my next grow which I'll start as soon as I've harvested.
Canna cure helped with the pests problems and haven't seen any since! This should be pretty quiet and maintained from here until harvest time.
Flowers are starting to get a little frosty. From here should be pretty quiet while the buds fill out. Have had some temperature issues (it's cold and dark here in the EU) so have added heating at the base of the grow space to produce heat and bring the humidity back up. Humidity is stuck around the high 40's but still seems too dry. Starting to smell pretty dank.
