I got this clone with three others, from a good source. It's Red Eye OG.... all Red Eye OG is unknown breader... high levels of turps... lemon and pine. And that is what I'm after, strong Terps. Well this girl has had a stink that I like from the day I got her. I got her by accident. A friend could not care for her, and only asked me to clone her. So I keep her In veg and cloned her... she has now went into flower.
She has went into the greenhouse for a week. And has not stopped stretching. She was 4 foot 3 inches 2 weeks ago. So she was booted from the greenhouse and will now be my Christmas Tree. She should turn out nice. I transplanted her into a 20 gallon pond insert. And filled it with make shift miracle grow soil. You can grow in anything... even shitty soil from the hardware store.... let the game begin...
My ph will always be 6.4 to 6.6 but I like 6.5 the best... playing in this area really works for most cannabis plants. Soil or not.......
My nutrients will be mostly General Hydroponics mixed at 4 mills a gallon. Grow, bloom, micro, and cal mag... and ph down is at 1 mil a gallon, due to my starting ph of tap water. Yes that's right I use tap water unfiltered. My starting ppm is 380.. it only goes up from there. I only water with newts every time. Its pretty simple I pre make my water with newts and water when necessary. I do like a soil meter for this.
This plant is flowering out of season outside. Its fall here so hopefully it doesn't become a wet season, my humidity is already out of control.
But Christmas is coming and I need a tree. 😁
She seems to be talking the transplant ok. Being over 4 feet sometimes it can be rough. But I think she will be fine. As long as I can keep her watered and happy and upright ofcourse, which has been my biggest problem lately. I have noticed she only has 5 petals. Which for her size and age she should have more. But it looks like she has maxed at 5.
Well what can I say....she is doing great. I've been very careful not to over water her. And now a fucking storm is coming. So I tied her down in tripod fashion, and will brace for the best. She is fully exposed to the elements. She should be fine. I hope....😁
Some morning's are a little wet this time of year.
The overall smell is a really strong OG smell. The terpenes are of pine and lemon. She has damage from catapillars, and I have sprayed her with BT ..... its probably time to spray again. Some nice nugs on her. You can smell her from the street, just drive by and take a whiff.
She really got beat up by the offshore wind last week. And more wind is coming tomorrow, that's probably going to really be the icing on the cake.
Pine and OG funk is the most prominent smell at this point.
She will be coming down soon. 70% brown pistols and its chop chop time.
So the end is here. Its time, only damage from this point on, in this case.. I chopped her. She is hanging... strong pine smell with a little lemon. Not my favorite that's for sure.
It's a great plant. I'm just not a fan of pine. It has really nice colas, so defoliation of the inside really helps. Yeald is not bad, I'd say average for size.
I will say it was a more sativa pheno. All and all good but it doesn't live up to the hype. Worth growing.... I'd say yes. It's a strong plant. And decent smoke.
