deFharo New grow of an autoflowering strain with 70% indica and 30% sativa dominance, resulting from a cross between two classic strains: Critical Mass x AK 47. The producer assures that the harvest will be ready in 75 days from seed and that it is a very productive strain.
I'm going to use this grow as a wildcard in my flowering cabinets, growing it indoors and outdoors to get more light hours without extra cost.
I'm also eager to successfully grow an autoflowering strain, as my last attempts have been complete failures, which I attribute to doing intermediate transplants. In this case, I planted the seed directly in soil and in its final pot. I added auxins to the surrounding substrate and lightly moistened the substrate with a solution of Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), honey, and Ormus.
The seed popped up from the soil after 72 hours.
For now, that's all.
Greetings to everyone!! See you soon 😊

deFharo Third week since the seed germination and little by little the seedling is settling into its pot.
For now, I water it away from the stem with pure water and molasses to promote root growth sideways and the microbial life of the substrate.
This week I added about 4cm of soil to the pot to bury the stem and generate adventitious roots from the surface. I added some auxin powder around the stem to boost the growth of these roots and a layer of mulch with dry grass and MM. The function of the mulch is multiple; on one hand, it maintains moisture on the surface to favor the life of microorganisms and adventitious roots, and on the other, this organic matter serves as food for microorganisms and finally as a source of silicon, which is found in large amounts in straw or dry leaves. Remember that the addition of silicon to crops promotes the hardness and elasticity of branches, stems, and leaves, resulting in a physical barrier against eating insects and giving the plant strength to withstand, for example, heat waves.
For now, I just hope to see this auto grow and get over the disappointment of my last failed auto crops.
Greetings to all the clandestine growers!! Cheers and good luck.!!

deFharo Everything is normal in this fifth week of life, the plant is growing and establishing itself in its pot. For now, the waterings are small, just maintaining enough moisture for the substrate to stay aerated and for the roots to expand throughout the pot.
It seems that the plant has begun pre-flowering. This week I will continue as I have been, with light waterings using Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) that facilitate nutrient absorption from the substrate.
The overall appearance of the plant is delicate; I hope it strengthens quite a bit starting this week. As soon as I notice an increase in water consumption, a sign of a good root system, I will start using some specific nutrients for vegetative growth.
For now, the light period is mixed, 13 hours in my vegetative growth cabinet with very white LED and fluorescent lights (9500K, 7700K, 6300K, and 450nm) and the rest of the hours by the window, taking advantage of the November sun while saving on electric light hours. I will only change the light spectrum to help with flowering once the plant progresses.
Nothing more for now.
Greetings to everyone!! 😌

deFharo The plant has completed its sixth week of life from seed and has already begun pre-flowering. This early flowering of autoflowering strains feels strange to me; I definitely prefer to grow photoperiod strains.
Up until this week, I had kept the plant with minimal moisture in the substrate, fearful of excess humidity—the bane that has been haunting me with all my grows!! The plant was growing, but it was stunted, so this week I did two deep waterings with nutrients to moisten the substrate all the way through. It seems the plant appreciated it; the change in attitude was noticeable almost immediately. Also, to try to strengthen the plant this week, I bent the trunk from the apex to try to shape a canopy without pruning and enhance the development of the lateral branches.
WEEKLY WATERING 😜
Day 38. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Mg, Fe...), molasses, Activated Mountain Microorganisms (AMM) at 1%, and Ormus (Ca, Mg....+PH) at 0.4%. PH: 6.38 EC: 0.55 -600ml.
Day 41. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Mg, Fe...), molasses, pumpkin and carrot Biol with AMM and minerals (B, Vitamins, and minerals...) at 4%, Ormus at 1%. PH: 6.33 EC: 0.9 -500ml.
Nothing more for now, thanks for being there.

deFharo Seventh week of life, no news, the plant is growing modestly, there’s one branch that has gone wild, let's see how it ends up.
Water consumption is low, the plant hasn’t recovered from the cold shock two weeks ago, although the overall appearance is good.
This week, two waterings to inoculate microorganisms into the substrate and humic acids from leonardite with phosphorus, potassium, and minerals; the plant liked it.
I’m going to continue this week strengthening and stimulating the grow to see if I can achieve accelerated growth.
Cheers to everyone!!

deFharo Ninth week of life for this little auto, it's slowly forming the buds, and it looks healthy.
I've tied down a couple of branches to see if I can develop some more important buds. I keep it in the cabinet for 13 hours and the rest of the day by the window; I suppose its ruderalis ancestors aren't too bothered by the cold and cloudy weather. The stem and branches have incredible hardness... I'm still watching this grow with interest.
Water consumption is still low, which gives me few opportunities for watering. This week I made a nutrient application with my enzymatic hydrolyzed animal protein and my fruit biol with EM and minerals; I messed up the concentration and gave it a watering hit with EC: 2.4, the plant didn't like it too much, so in the next waterings, I'm going to help dissolve the nutrients and organic matter in the substrate to see if it picks up with water consumption and growth.
Greetings to everyone!!

deFharo Not much to report in this tenth week of life, the plant continues to grow slowly. This week, water consumption has increased after two waterings, one just with rainwater (EC: 0.02, PH: 7) and the last one with 50% rainwater and mountain water, Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), and Ormus to provide Mg and raise the PH of the mixture (PH: 6.35, EC: 0.43). This change is indicating to me that the substrate needs to lighten up on nutrients for the roots to thrive, although at this stage of the grow, I don't expect much in that regard. This grow is an example of how a substrate with too much organic matter can block the growth and development of a crop.
I'm going to continue this week inoculating MMA to dilute the organic matter in the substrate as much as possible and see how water consumption behaves. If the plant progresses in this regard, next week I'll do a series of nutrient waterings to see if I can fatten up the buds. The truth is that the timing of autoflowering strains no longer works for me; I prefer the control that photoperiod strains give me.
Greetings to all the clandestine growers!! 😋

deFharo The plant has completed 11 weeks since seed, there is no progress, although it remains alive. The plant does not respond to nutrient watering, the little water consumption indicates to me that the root system did not develop sufficiently, probably due to the substrate mix. I'm trying to resolve this substrate issue in my new grows; for now, I can say that the new substrates are working very well, favoring a strong root system.
I've been battling pests and other problems for almost two months that caught me by surprise. This grow has had its own pest of soil flies, but I currently have it under control with sticky traps of various colors. However, since I have a spider pest and have had fungal issues, I've done several preventive treatments this week on my healthy crops. I sprayed with Neem oil and diatomaceous earth; days before, I did the same with soluble sulfur, effective against powdery mildew... I'm staying vigilant and also with the other treated crops. For now, I have all these crops confined in a room and separate cabinets, in different spaces from the attacked crops, which are isolated while I decide what to do with them.
Nothing more for now.
REGARDS TO EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021 - LET'S CONTINUE!!

deFharo 91 days of life from seed, this miniature plant remains petrified... could it be a perennial weed? it only grows the grass that accompanies it. The buds lack density, they're filled with air... 😲
Well, I'm going to end this dull and horizonless life... I've called the executioner, and he's already here, just waiting for the plant to exhaust its last watering to carry out his work... new year, new grow!! 😔

deFharo For me, this grow has been a waste of time. I've carried the pot from closet to closet, from window to window, only to end up with a mediocre result. Maybe a bad mix of substrate was the initial cause of the poor development, but the plant lacked vigor the whole time.
The positive thing is that it frees up a spot for a new grow... which won't be auto strains.
Anyway... dead grow, new grow!! Happy harvests 2021.
CHEERS AND HEALTH, GROWERS!! 😁
High,
I completly agree on the auto flowers. Altought its fun to have fast bud. One's getting the tast of growing, feminised is so much more fun to work with.
Sicario automatic was my first grow to say it went ok. But still not changing tactics and full bet on automatic.
Rather otherwise full bet on feminized and when theres a bit spare time and space, why not pop a seed in there.
Greetings

Rplorganic_larf, Yes, I plant this automatic to fill free gaps in any of my flowering cabinets, it's like a wild pot, I feel like that I don't waste extra light. 😌
High,
Damn that guy of grass o matic looks really scary man. I like tatts and piercing, but to much is simply to much. Also those alien eyes.
Freak. I bet he likes that anyway.
