Put her in a paper towel and spray her with RO water. Popped quick. Cracked her shell within 8 hours with a barely visible taproot. I should have kept a better eye on her because I checked back after 24 hours and taproot had got a little out of hand and was a little over an inch but slight curled around. I like to drop them when it’s about 1/4-1/2 inch. Dropped it into a jiffy pellet that had been soaking in RO water for a few hours. Placed that into a seedling tray holder inside a dome with a t5 on 18/6. Temp is 80-82 with Rh at 70-80. So far she is popping off nicely. I’m very excited. This is my first grow and I think I’ve taken on way more than I should. I’ve got two snow lotus, a thin mints, and a mutant purple lemonade. She is not looking well and I may have to pull her. I’ve got a Coolgrows 2x3x5ish tent with a divider that I took out. I like the shelf for my seedling dome. Got a 1k QB for main veg area.

She’s coming along very nicely and so far I’m happy with the genetics from Dutch passion. I’ve spray her with RO water from the bottom of the plug. There’s a small fan in the dome for air circulation. I’m afraid with Rh being sort of high, I need some flow. This phase I know is critical to have my vpd correct but it’s painfully hard to keep my dome Rh consist.

First week was good up until I dropped the coco plug and she fell out on to the floor. I tried the put it back in and have it sit straight. I didn’t want to put too much pressure on the fully exposed little taproot. It looked thin and fragile. After some thought I just said F it and I’m just going to plant her in a solo cup but all I had was a Starbucks grande cup and lid. So in she went. I’m sure I’m making a mistake by doing this. I think there’s going to be too much humidity but I’m going to crack the lid a bit and I’m exposing the soil to light with high moisture. I will be putting black grip tape on the cup later.

So the soil was just too moist last week. I didn’t water because I was afraid of root rot. I cut more vents into the cup so I could increase airflow to the soil and hopefully dry it out a touch. Since I did that she started to perk up a bit.

Really not much to report. She is growing nicely but slightly slower than expected. I used gave her a real light watering with dilutes Real Growers Recharge with a touch of cal mag and organic micro plankton. She should pop off in the next few days hopefully UPDATE: after a watering of real growers recharge she took off and is just growing like a queen.

Sorry for being late on the update but here it is... So, she’s growing well and I can see some of the roots at the bottom of the cup. I covered the side of the cup with a black latex glove that I cut as a sleeve. The tent is becoming crowded and humidity has been an issue. I haven’t been able to maintain a constant Rh. I treated the plants with neem oil spray because I saw some sign of PM. Looks pretty healthy but I’m sure I’m doing something wrong because she’s small for what I thought this far along.

So she looked like she was undergoing a nutrient deficiency and I was late in getting the new tent up by a few days so she sat in a cup for a few days longer than I wanted. The new tent is a Secret Jardin Lodge 160. It’s huge. 4x5x7. My last tent was so crowded that PM was becoming an issues and this should help manage that. I sprayed each plant with diluted hydrogen peroxide to kill the surface PM. I transplanted her into a 3 gallon fabric pot with a highly amended FFOF blend at ph of 6.5 on the bottom 25%. The next 25% layer is a lightly amended layer of FFOF. The next 50% is a blend of FFHH/FFOF. I watered her as soon as she was transplanted. The top of the plant sits about 30 inches below the light (Mars Hydro tsw2000). I’m hoping the transplant wasn’t too rough on it. It was already nute deficient before it transferred it. I’m hoping in the next few days that it will start to grow again. She just started to flower as well. I know it’s critical at this point so I think I messed up the timings. I was hoping to get it into the new tent and larger pot sooner but life came knocking.
