Purple Queen Auto - Autumn Cup RQS

M_Littlefield After 5 days of germination, it's transferred to its final pot. The substrate is mixed with the Easy Boost provided by RQS. First week in the substrate, with very spaced watering and little water. The light is set to 110W for this growth phase and will be increased for flowering.

M_Littlefield During this second week, it seems like the growth is accelerating. We continue with watering with a small amount of water every 3-4 days. We spray water, as a foliar feed, to help the plant during these times of small roots.

M_Littlefield This week has seen some good growth and the distance between nodes has increased. I'm starting to use the Easy Combo Mix from RQS provided in the package received. I'm preparing 5L. The amount of watering has gone up a bit since the plant is now asking for more water, but I'm trying to maintain 2-3 waterings per week.

M_Littlefield This week has seen spectacular growth, doubling in size. It seems that the waterings with the Easy Grow Booster have yielded good results. By the end of last week, it was already in pre-flowering and now it's pumping out pistils non-stop. The light intensity has gradually increased throughout the week, reaching up to 75% power (~150W).

M_Littlefield This week has been very eventful. It's fully in flowering now. The light is already at its maximum power (200W). We've started using the Easy Bloom Boosters Tablets to provide the necessary nutes for flowering, adjusting the pH to 6.5. It's starting to have a noticeable smell.

M_Littlefield During the last days of this week, small red spots started appearing on the leaves and it's getting worse. Looking for information about it, it seems like a phosphorus deficiency, so I added an extra dose of BioBloom from BioBizz to the last watering of this week. We'll see how it goes. The plant isn't growing vertically anymore, and the flowers keep fattening up. I hope the deficiency doesn't affect them too much. Watering every 3 days.

M_Littlefield Despite the waterings with BioBloom to try to address the deficiencies, they are gradually getting worse. It may not be a phosphorus problem but rather a Cal/Mag issue. At this point with an autoflowering, it's impossible to correct. A light substrate flush is done to try to eliminate retained salts, and it's watered only with water mixed with Bloom Boosters. Entering the last 10 days, the next waterings will be only with water.

M_Littlefield Very calm week, with just one watering of a good amount of plain water to do some cleaning. Aside from the deficiencies, the yellow tones are starting to spread on the leaves. It gives off a pleasant fresh aroma, a bit citrusy. In about 5-7 days it should be ready if I'm not mistaken.

M_Littlefield Last week!!!! A week similar to the last one, very calm, letting the milky and amber colors appear. A couple of water-only waterings. Photos taken on harvest day, with a light wet manicure before cutting and hanging the branches. Once they are dry, a new manicure will be done. The smell has turned sweet without losing some bittersweet or citrus notes, it gives off a scent similar to mango.

M_Littlefield As I mentioned in the strain comment, it has been a fun grow. During the vegetative phase, all it needed was watering, and it just kept growing on its own. It was during the flowering phase that it started asking for nutrients, and the Bloom tablets weren't enough, so I added some extra BioBizz BioBloom for a few weeks during flowering. In summary, it's a strain that has been fairly easy to grow, it asked for nutrients mainly during flowering, and the aroma and flavor are exceptional. I recommend it to any grower who leans more towards sweet or tropical flavors.
