soaked the seed for a day until sunk. then folded em up in a paper towel for a day and wrapped in clingfilm to keep moist. nice little root after a day 🌱🌱 set down in the soil about 5mm deep. used some soil that i just grabbed from outside to get some of that life in there. not sure if that's a super idea, its pretty sandy. took a small ball of coco from another plant and buried under the seedling. thinking it'll soak up water and encourage the seedling to tap down quickly 😂 🤔

soil (sandy) stays pretty moist. so i'm careful with watering, don't want in anaerobic. same time i feel the plant is always happiest with nice and pround leaves after watering.

definitely a little muddy... i wouldn't go crazy, but a gentle breeze will help speed evaporation. not much you can do once planted. if you intend to transplant, make sure to mix in vermiculite or perlite (hydroton, various other things) to provide better drainage. vermiculite or perlite is good at 50%. Smaller pots can get away with a lower %. make sure to allow top 1" to dry before watering... it may take forever in this case, lol. Good / bad to that.. staying wet for so long isn't optimal in the long-run. Get a wet/dry cycle going as best you can. that'll avoid bad microbes and keep that area oxygenated too.
