HSO - 707 Headband, by TMO

TheManicOrganicDK Lost track of previous weeks, so this is just for more or less own use. :-) Didnt know this site excisted when i germinated the seeds, so only half a diary. 8 weeks has passed and the girls are still in 20/4, now moved from veg tent to flowertent. Lights changed from led/mh, to hps. Waiting for the tent to fill up with plants, so guessing they´ll get about 3-4 weeks more, before flipping to 12/12. Started out doing some topping on all, in week 5, transplanted to bigger pots in week 6 and moved to flower tent. Some LST done, to get them ready for scrog.

TheManicOrganicDK These ladies seem to be very short statuered, so they seem to be begging for a tie-down. After a few days of vertical stem, several sideshoots have started to explode up.

TheManicOrganicDK This was a straight forward strain to grow. Had an awfull mixture of genetics in same tent, 10-15 weeks flowering plants, but the 707 was an easy 1 to grow. Very hungry, so that fit well with the dedoverde haze and the OG Kush´ though. Got some wonderful colours in last stage of flowering and the diamonds just formed everywhere. Fantastic terps, great oil and its working wonders on my ptsd. Better always have this strain on shelf. 😘

TheManicOrganicDK Past week or one and a half, the headbands seem to be putting up a good amount of verticals, so its finally time to go flowering. Especially impressed by the plant living in an Air-pot, seems to thrive much better than in fabric pots, which again does better than regular plast pots. First try with the BPS nutrients and so far so good, no deficiencies and great structures.

TheManicOrganicDK Its been a great week 2, after giving ( BPS - Bud Explosion ), the girls imediately understood the flowering had started and are going for it. 1 of the 707´s, planted in an airpot, has made me scrathch my head a few times. All the 707´s get the same nutrient solution, same ph, but the one in airpot started to turn a bit yellow, so i made an not as proff run-off reading. It showed ph 6.0 and ppm 1900, so had to pour a few litres of demineralized water on it. Why the airpot one is the only to go crazy, i do not know. the others, in fabric pots and plast pots, were spot on. ( My theory is that the airpot soil dries out sooner than the other pots, thus making the nutes less available for the plant and accumulating in the soil.)

TheManicOrganicDK Reached day 19 and it was about time to start some major defoliation and bending. Really went rough with the girls, opposed to what i normally do. First time doing so violent defoliation. After seeing so many growers do it, both in here and other forums, i think its about time this old dog starts doing a few new tricks. 😁 After defoliating they got a good amoung of extra water, no nutes, just some yucca powder and Mychorriza/endo-ecto-tea. ( ppm 300 tap water )

TheManicOrganicDK After last weeks defoliation, the girls got a treat of nutes and tlc. Several plants has begun colouring of the leaves, starting in a nice light purple hue.

TheManicOrganicDK Leafs starting to go red/black´ish and terpenes building up and starting to attract. A lot of foliage, so will be defoliating next week, about day 19-21. 1 of the plants has gotten a very nice smell compared to the others and has a pink hue in the buds. ( Will take and show pic in week 6 update.)

TheManicOrganicDK Originally the plan was to defoliate at day 42, but as i just kept remembering week 6, i did defoliate some days to soon, according to my plan. But there was heavy foliage, so i am sure its a good time for the 707´s. They certainly seem to mature pretty fast, so do hope they recover well. After defoliation, they all got a generous watering, with mychorrizal+ endo/ecto supplement. After defoil, it´s time to amp up on the humic/fulvic and aminos, to get the terpenes in production. so going to 2ml-2,5ml/pr.l in the next 2 weeks. Starting to look like the commercials, as the red/dark colours starts to emerge and the pink´ish hue in the calyx. Really nice smell in the tent when i defoliated. Its gonna ba happy days with this one, i can smell it. 😁🙏
