Honey Cream, River Haze, Lemon Shining

surhaze We’re starting with the first week, our seeds are now some very nice seedlings, the River Haze had a hard time germinating, but with a little patience, it broke out of its little home :) The first watering was done with the rooting agent from Holistic Pro, 0.5g per L, and I watered with a sprayer. I added some stakes in case they stretch too much, to have support and not break.

surhaze Here come the little ones! I transplanted them into a slightly larger pot to cover and support the stems, as they were stretching a lot. The surprise of the week was the Honey Cream #2, which against all odds, after 14 days in the germination container, I found that it had broken its shell and sprouted a root about 2cm long. In general terms, I increased the amount of water to 250ml per plant and raised the EC to 0.5 a bit. The Honey Cream #1 is definitely the most advanced, it has a pretty pronounced stem and has the most leaves, but the others are not far behind. Cheers and see you next week!

surhaze Week 3 of vegetative, the tent arrived and I put the plants and some cuttings in. I added a humidifier to regulate humidity, added an extractor and a fan to move and refresh the air. I made the last application of Holistic Pro Rooting, next week I’ll start with the vegetative. They all look very good and seem happy, I’m waiting for some "warehouse" LED lights to increase the ppfd for vegetative growth. Cheers 🤘🏽

surhaze Kicking off the fourth week of veg! I noticed them a bit droopy, but after a few hours of watering, they're doing fine! The famous "LED grow lights" 50w of cool light each arrived (I put in 4 total). The temperature dropped two degrees compared to the CFLs. For the nutrients, I made the first application of Holistic Pro Vegetativo (1g per liter of dechlorinated water with a juani juana filter) at a pH of 6.2 and an EC of 1.0. This coming week, I'm going to transplant them into 5-liter Mad Rocket pots, and I also plan to do the first topping. Cheers and happy smokes!

surhaze Wrapping up the fourth week with these feminized photoperiod seeds. As I mentioned in the week 4 update, I transplanted into 5L Mad Rocket pots, it was really nice to see the root system so developed, white and healthy roots. Two days later, I did the first topping on the Honey Cream #1 and the Lemon Shining Silver Haze #1, they were the tallest, so I decided to do the apical pruning on them first. They responded very well to the stress caused by the topping, you can see in the photos how they look today. Regarding the sativas River Haze and Lemon Shining Silver Haze #2, I did the topping today. The River Haze was already stretching a lot, and you can tell by the internodal distance that it's a pure sativa! I hope both react as well to this stress as the first ones did. surhaze Entering the sixth week of vegetative, growing fully! The Honey Cream #2 was transplanted into a 5L pot. Incredible how the roots colonized the entire substrate! With Honey Cream #1, I had a problem; I broke one of the tips by applying too much force on the shoot to do the LST, so I quickly thought it over and taking advantage of the fact that the plant was stretching considerably compared to the others, I decided to do a topping below the node with the broken shoot and use both tips to make cuttings. I did the same with the River Haze, but due to its height, considerably tall, characteristics that show that pure sativa. You can also see some leaves that catch the eye; the tips started to turn brown/yellow, if you know what it could be, I would appreciate your help!! I think it could be several things, a deficiency (which I doubt a lot because I'm watering with Holistic's vegetative base). I also think it could be due to the stress caused by breaking a branch and doing the topping the same day. As for watering, I've been using Mycorrhizae + Candy in the water-only waterings and the vegetative base. I managed to get an ultrasonic humidifier with a capacity of 4 liters and a runtime of 15 hours, which takes the responsibility off my hands of having to fill the other one every 4 hours (my back appreciates it 😂) besides the heat generated from being hot steam. Honestly, I'm very happy with the results so far, as always learning from mistakes and trying to create the best possible environment for the beloved ones 💚🌱
