Levi_Grows Well this has been a fun week, only been peaking once a day to give a light mist and every day impressed me more than the next with how they are developing. Over the last week the gelatos have grown just over foot in height and started some nice little bud sites, the strawberry stardawg is not that far behind as you can see on one of the pic... Now im at fun part πππ

Levi_Grows In the last week i ran into some trouble with nitrogen toxicity, i flushed the pots twice and changed the water in the res and lowered the coco a and b and calmag hopefully this has solved it.... also when i opened my tent today the StrawberryStarDawg tips of the leaves have gone a little yellow, i think the cause of this is i have turned the watts up on the light to 660w so im thinking it might be light stress? Ive pulled light up anyway see how they go on eyyy...

Levi_Grows Well over the last 24 hours the StrawberryStarDawg has overtaken the Nirvana Gelato in hieght but... as you can see the gelato is starting to bulk up nicely... ive trimmed a few fan leaves here and there for the lower bud sites to gain access to the light, happy growing πππ

Ok so sunday will be the start of week 7 of flower, both strains are 8 week flower time. So ive noticed some pistil tips have started turning a yellow/brown... is this something to be worried about or isit normal ? Thanks πππ

This is absolutely normal and a good sign of your plants maturity. When they all brown and begin to curl up against your bud structure is a good harvest indicator but better yet is checking your trichomes. π€π€

Levi_Grows Start of week 9 of flower... still only adding water into the res untill i think is right time to harvest..... posted alot more pics than usual as these girls should be ready soon as both strains are around 8 week flower (stardawg=8weeks/gelato=8-10weeks).... i am checking trichomes daily using a 20x-60x pocket microscrope.... most trichomes are still clear with very few that are cloudy.... i am hoping that this week or next week will be the last... happy growing all.....

4.1.21. Day 64 of flower.
AND THEN THERE WAS 3!
So yesterday (Jan 3rd) after 9 full weeks of flowering i decided it was time for one of the StrawberryStarDawgs to come down. The trichomes were mostly milky with only some still clear, so basically she could have done with a few more days. I know it may be a little early but you know how it is... I WANT SOME WEED!
But now that leaves the 2 gelatos and one more StrawberryStarDawg.
The other stardawg... well this girl has had abit of a rough life compared to the rest... In the veg phase she suffered with bad heat stress which made her deform and her leaves all twisted round... and since then shes always looked rather odd.. so im leaving her in the tent because her pistils are still white... see how she turns out π€
The 2 gelatos.. well... there doing fine.. maybe this is the last week? Trichomes on them have started going milky π€ͺ and the smell ππ€©π i know these girls are going to be a beautiful smoke!!!
I have done my weekly water change... Water only...

I had two of these girls and i believe my beginner mistakes failed them both.
The first plant i harvested about a week too early so the potency wasnt there. From this girl i got 58gram of dry bud.
The second girl i taken down had been though some bad heat stress whilst in veg and made her buds looks weird. I got 120 gram of leafy buds of her.
Not much of a smoke either of them BUT!
I used 2 oz of second one i harvest and made some cannabutter and then made me some brownies and my god.. me and my partner was out for the count, my partner says she will never eat edibles again becuase it blew her head off soooo.... i guess i give it a thumbs up about that π π π
