CanukGrower These clones were obtained through a random contact on social media.
I had ordered autoflower seeds after convincing the Ms’s that a 4 plant legal grow would be a great idea if we were going to be on lockdown.
The seeds were delayed indefinitely (in March), so I decided to seek out clones as a backup if my seeds did not arrive in time.
I found a local guy and got some sorry looking ‘Wedding Cake” clones, and later also Bruce Banner and LSD clones as well.

CanukGrower Plants are Sativa in structure, well spaced branches, easy to manage and train( unlike the super vigorous and dense Wedding Cake)
2 phenotypes observed through leaf structure and smell.

CanukGrower Plant has a nice spaced out branch structure which allows light to penetrate right through it.
It is the #2 Pheno of Bruce Banner clones
Very different smell than #1 Pheno which was super lemony spicy

CanukGrower Growth pattern of both phenos is branchy and airy with long internodes. Very Good, easy to manage plant structure.
Slower growing than the wedding cake clones, which requires literally 3x the work to manage.
Responds well to topping/training.

CanukGrower Easy to grow plants responding well to training.
2 different phenotypes in the Bruce Banner strain evident.
CanukGrower Plants are growing large quickly!
Leaf stems are long and allow for light to penetrate the entire canopy. Very manageable plants to grow(other than height!).
Pheno 1 has a very lemony diesel smell when rubbing the stock - 5’ tall
Pheno 2 has a very different sweet, fruity smell
- 4’ tall

CanukGrower The plants are too large for the given space, and unfortunately I’m having a hard time culling excess plants/clones!
I have experimented taking clones outdoors from removed branches with good success.
I just kept them under a hood , used no hormones, out of direct light outdoors , and got approx. 70% to root in 3-4 weeks. ( I ended up with way too many plants, despite trying to give them away to people I trust).

CanukGrower Wedding cake was first to flower, with the Sativa’s being slower by 1-2 weeks.
The Sativa’s kept shooting upwards (about 50%)

CanukGrower Major calcium deficiency showed up unexpectedly affecting most of the plants.
The Bruce Banner Sativa’s keep shooting up, well over 6’ at this point.
A combination of under feeding (based on the size of the plants), and liquid fish fertilizer that turned my PH to below 5 was to blame.
Next time I will be more diligent about the PH.

CanukGrower These were some of the last pictures I took.
The last 3 weeks were a constant fight with mould/bud rot, as humidity was always high outdoors. Combined with the prior Calcium deficiency, I wasn’t sure I’d be pulling anything worthwhile from these plants.
I literally lost between 30-60% to bud rot on most plants this year.
It seems like this was a common experience for most folks growing outdoors this year that I heard from.
Considering the conditions, I feel fortunate for what I was able to reap from this garden: 3 large Sativa’s, 1 large Indica.
Average: 4oz. / plant x 4 = 1lb. + lower shwag (1/4 lb. at least)= I didn’t weigh most of it, but I know how much fits in a jar, so I estimate by the oz jars I have, and have given away to others and I get my numbers.
Bruce Banner Sativa’s, 2 phenos:
1) Lemony-spicy, largest highest yielding
2) Sweet, like strawberry. My favourite!

CanukGrower My 4 large plants: Bruce Banner Sativa’s, Wedding Cake Hybrid
3 Sativa’s, 1 Indica
Indica:
Wedding Cake: exotic looking purple buds(not leaves). Very smelly in veg and flower.
Smoke: Sweet, earthy, floral
-feels like a 60/40 Indica, more relaxed.
Sativa’s (Bruce Banner)
Sativa #1) Lemony spicy scent - very different than the other phenos
- was the largest single plant with the biggest buds overall.
- My guess is a 60-70% Sativa
Smoke: Smooth, Spicy, lemony, pungent
-uplifting high, goes straight to the head
Sativa #3) Smooth, Sweet berry aroma, earthy, slight diesel smell, very sticky
-Highly Sativa
Smoke: sweet, smooth and straight to the brain. In fact, It can be hard to form coherent sentences for a while after consuming!
I prefer Sativa’s and fortunately these strains worked out and give me some variety.
100% organic, despite the numerous setbacks, paid off with clean burning, smooth smoking herb that doesn’t dry out my eyes or mouth (unlike commercial stuff), and finishes clean!
Only 1 trade off: I told my wife that I only needed 4-6 oz for the year and any extra could be given away. I averaged around 5-6oz./plant, although I never weighed most of it.
I’ve actually been rather enjoying giving away my organic flowers to those who appreciate such things!
