Germination 10/25/20 - Put 5 strains in a paper towel. This journal will track the Pineapple Express fem from seed, from G13 Labs. I'll be growing in all natural soil with organic dry amendments only. Each strain will get their own dedicated journal.
Cups 10/27/20 - All five seeds popped and went into solo cups with Recipe 420 soil. Set up the new 3x3 tent for this run. In about 2 weeks they'll be transplanted into 3 or 5 gallon pots with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil.
I also invite you to check out my other grows👍🏾
Day 8. The Pineapple Express is off to a great start. She's the runt of the litter but just barely. I've been saving my rewatch of the movie for post-harvest. Cant wait to enjoy this one while watching one of my favorite comedy films.
Day 11. Transplanted into 2 gallon fabric pots with FFOF soil.
Day 18. The Pineapple Express is chugging right along. Nice growth here in week 3. I topped above the 4th node. In about a week I'll top again. I'll continue to do that up until 35-36 days to control the canopy.
Day 22. The Pineapple Express is showing no signs of slowing down after the topping. Her lower sites have quickly shot up. Like the growth of this one so far.
Day 27. This is my first time growing in 2 gallon fabric pots. The Pineapple Express is starting to fade as she's used up many of the nutrients in the soil. I top dressed with Dr Earth Flower Girl today and we'll see how she responds. I'd like to finish these 5 plants in their 2 gallon pots, but if they don't look like they're enjoying themselves then I'll transplant to 5 gallon pots in the next week.
Day 31. Not very pleased with things at this stage of veg. Growing in 2 gallon fabric pots just doesn't fit well with my style. I'll be transplanting to five gallon pots in 3 days and I expect the girls to approve.
Day 35. All five plants were transplanted into 5 gallon pots this morning. After a bit of cleanup and a day to adjust, they already appear to appreciate the extra room.
Day 36. More topping and defoliation after the transplant.
Day 37. All five plants looking so much better three days after the transplant. The Pineapple Express will get another round of topping in the coming days.
Day 38. Topping and defoliation continues. Switch to flower is about 10 days away.
Day 40. The Pineapple Express is really starting to put on some good growth now. So far, she's responded the quickest to her toppings. Nice plant here in week 6 of veg.
Day 43. Top dressed with Dr Earth Flower Girl today. Only 7 days left until the switch.
Day 48. The Pineapple Express has responded well to the topping and is ready for flower. She's really bushed out nicely.
Day 52. The Pineapple Express was fed today with 4tbs Dr Earth Flower Girl. I've postponed flower until week 9, just five more days until then.
Day 55. Two more days to the flip!
Day 3/59. Third day of 12/12 lighting and did some defoliation on all five plants.
Day 5/61. All girls looking healthy and strong.
Day 7/63. I moved the Pineapple Express to the corner to give even light to the Chocolate Mint OG.
Day 15/71. The Pineapple Express is taking off.
Day 17/73. All five girls were defoliated.
Day 20/76. Flower development is slow with cold temps. I'll need to be patient with this group. Otherwise they're healthy and doing well.
