My favorite method to germinate seeds is the 'SERIOUS' method promoted by Serious Seeds. I have almost always a 100% success rate with. Check out the video above for the process. If you hang up the seeds inside a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag, the roots will grow out STRAIGHT instead of being curled when they lay on a plate. Make sure the tip of the seed (=pointy end) is facing downwards inside the bag, so they can open up and grow straight down towards the floor. This makes its easier to transplant the germinated seeds into soil. When you plant the seed make sure the top of the seedshell still peaks out of the soil..this make an easier start for your seedling. They will grow right out of the soil the next day.

After germinating on a wet paper towel inside a hanging plastic baggie for 48 hours, all 6 seeds have opened up. The 3 ZHEETOS (=ZKITTLES X CHEESE) and the 3 BADAZZ-CHEESE (=BADAZZ-KUSH X CHEESE) seeds, which I received directly from Milo from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS have a 100% germination result, I love it. The seeds are then carefully (with gloves on and a tweezer) transplanted into small pots (0,25 liter) filled with PLAGRON Grow-Mix. You can see how its done in the video and pics above. I fill the pot with soil and water it a little bit. Then I make a small hole with a finger in the center of the soil. I take the seed off the wet paper towel with a tweezer and put it onto the side-wall of the small hole. I position it right at the edge with the white tap-root pointing down and the seed-shell laying on the edge of the hole. Then i push the soil from the other side-wall towards the seed, so it is enclosed with soil from all sides and the top of the seed shell still peaks out of the soil. This way the seedling does not have to fight its way to the surface, but can grow out right away. Within 24 hours I can see the small seedlings rise and push out of the soil. Some with the seed-shells still on them other without the seed-shell, depending if they were able to shed them in the soil already. The first ones to rise are ZHEETOS #1 and #2 together with BADAZZ-CHEESE #1 and #2, both #3-plants are one day later out of the soil. During week 1 I only gave them little water (0,1 liter per plant every 2nd day) and on day 7 I add BIONOVA ROOTS to the water (0,5 ml/l) to enhance the growth of the roots of the seedlings. After a few days all 6 seedlings have surfaced and then shed their seed shells and unfolded their Cotyledons (=first round leaf). They grow quick and healthy in the first week inside my GrowforLife-Coset and start to develop the first sets of real leaves. This closet is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL and MOST SILENT stealth-grow-cabinet EVER! (check them out: www.growforlife.com ) I loved my first round in it and cant wait for this one. The plants LOVE the spectrum and light-intensity of the two 50 watts SANlight-LED modules built into the closet. The 100 watts of light are plenty for the small grow-surface (45x45cm) of the closet. This round I will try the whole line of BIONOVA nutrients from the Netherlands, since I have only heard good things about them.

During week 2 all 6 seedlings developed well. They have a healthy green color and grow every day appr. 0,5 cm. The 3 ZHEETOS (=Zkittles x Cheese) and 3 BADAZZ-CHEESE (=Badazz-Kush x Cheese) seeds from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS are all doing VERY WELL inside my GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET. The SANlight LED-modules built into the closet have the perfect spectrum for the whole growth-cycle and are doing and excellent job during veg. On day 10 I give nutrients for the first time with the watering of the plants. The BIO NOVA Nutrients (SOIL SUPER MIX, ROOTS, X-CEL, THE MISSING LINK, SILUTION, BN-ZYM) are given at half strength, because the seedlings are very young and the PLAGRON grow-mix already had nutrients in it. All plants have a healthy green color, which means they have all nutrients they need right now. After day 11 white roots are coming out at the bottom of the small pots, which means the seedlings need to be repotted soon. On day 14 I repot three seedling into 11 liter pots filled with PLAGRON grow-mix. I decide to keep ZHEETOS #1 and #2 and BADAZZ-CHEESE #1, because I only want to grow three plants this round. The other seedlings were gifted to a friend, so he can grow them as his medicine. Immediately after repotting the seedlings, they kick into overdrive and grow like hell, the 3 plants will fill out the closet quickly!

During week 3 all plants flourished and grew quickly. They love the BIONOVA nutrients and the light from the SANlight LED-modules inside the GrowforLife.com-Closet. The perfect spectrum of the austrian LED-lights put the 3 plants I repotted into 11 liter pots into overdrive and they filled out the closet within days. Some of the bigger fan-leaves start to overlap and where they touch, the plants start to 'sweat'. Which means the water, they evaporate out of the underside of their leaves to cool them, immediately condensates again on the top side of other leaves touching them...I can clearly see wet spots of water on several leaves (see in pics above). The maximum humidity inside the closet already skyrocketed to 92%, because this. Therefore its time to defoliate the plants on day 19. I take off all the bigger fan leaves and the lowest growth of side-branches of all plants, in order to ensure a better airflow through the plants. All plants have a healthy green color and look very vital, a tell-tale sign of the wellbeing of a plant is the number of fingers the upper leaves exhibit. Since the small plants already have 9-fingered leaves, I KNOW THEY DO WELL! The fingers of the leaves are very broad, which tells me that there is lots of INDICA in the genetics of the plants. That is not surprising, since the CHEESE from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS won the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2006 in the INDICA category, and this wonderful strain is the basis for both genetics. The ZHEETOS (=Cheese x Zkittles) and BADAZZ-CHEESE (=Cheese x Badazz-Kush) are doing both EXCELLENT and until now I LOVE THIS ROUND! 👍😎 I hold my thumbs it continues like this...

The 3 plants inside my GrowforLife.com-closet continue to THRIVE thru week 4. The two ZHEETOS (=Zkittles x Cheese) plants and one BADAZZ-CHEESE (=Badazz-Kush x Cheese) plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS love the full-spectrum light from the SANlight-LED modules built into the closet. The nutrients from BIONOVA (Soil SUPERMIX, PK 13/14, X-Cel, The Missing Link, Silution and BN-Zym) are given at a strength of EC=1,4 at a ph-level of 6,6 and the plants LOVE IT! They fill out the closet very quick and the plants start to 'sweat' again (=water condensation on touching leaves). Therefore I decide to defoliate again on day 24, in order to get a better airflow thru the canopy. The plants are now 23 cm (=Zheetos #1), 28 cm (=Zheetos #2) and 23,5 cm (=Badazz-Cheese #1) tall and have branched out very nicely. At this point (=day 25) its time to send them into flowering and switch the light/darkness regimen to 12/12 hours. This only requires a simple change in the program of the GrowforLife.com-closet. In the display built into the closet is the menu and for the flowering program I only have to decide at which time of the day the lamps should turn on and then they stay on for 12 hours. In my case thats from 8 to 20h. The plants develop so quickly, that I have to defoliate again on day 27 (=flowering day 3).

During week 5 all 3 plants grow very well and develop lots of sidebranches and new leaves. The all have a healthy green color, which shows they love the BIO NOVA Nutrients and they can take them up well. The perfect spectrum of the SANlight-LEDs built into the Growfor.Life-Closet do the rest and this results in EXCELLENT growth. The humidity inside the closet is still on the high side (72% most of the time) and therefore I have to defoliate the plants again on Day 30 (=Flowering Day 6) in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. Quickly the defoliated vegetation grows back and on Day 35 (=Flowering Day 11) I spot the first female white hairs on the two ZHEETOS plants and two days later on BADAZZ-CHEESE plant...all 3 babies are as expected LADIES....yiiipppie! 😁. The biggest plant (=ZHEETOS #1) is now 40 cm tall, while ZHEETOS #2 is 39 cm and BADAZZ-CHEESE #1 is 35 cm tall. I cant wait how the flowering continues...😃

During week 6 all plants from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS switched into flowering mode, the first female white hairs on BADAZZ-CHEESE #1 (=Badazz-Kush x Cheese) were discovered on Day 37 (=FD13), two days AFTER the ZHEETOS (=Zkittles x Cheese) plants. The plants grow so quickly, that I continuously have to defoliate them in order to keep the humidity in control, on Day 37 I therefore take off the biggest fan leaves and lowest growth again (see pics). The plants thrive inside the Growfor.Life-closet and love the light and spectrum from the SANlight-LEDs built into it. The BIO NOVA feeding chart now gives higher doses and starts to add PK13/14 to enhance flowering. The dark green color of the plants show how healthy they are and how good they take in the nutrients. I am very satisfied with the BIO NOVA-line until now, the plants show no signs of any deficiencies or over-feeding. All 3 plants QUICKLY develop clearly visible flower clusters during week 6, the speed os growth is AMAZING to see! 😍

During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

During week 8 the BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS are continuing to grow VERY WELL. The plants love the intensity and spectrum of the SANlight LED-module built into the Growfor.Life-Closet and they absorb the BIO NOVA nutrients like crazy. The are dark-green and healthy and grow buds everywhere now, its a delight to see. Since the humidity inside the closet sometimes goes up to 80% I have to do everything I can to avoid bud-rot. I therefore defoliate the plants again and take off the biggest fan leaves and everything touching the walls of the closet, in order to avoid build up of condensed water. The ZHEETOS #1 plant repairs herself so well, that the main stem is again looking upwards, so i have to super-crop her again in order to control her height. I press and bend the main stem, so it points 90 degrees to the side again and let the plant repair herself again, so she bushes out in the meantime instead of growing further upwards to the lamps. The flower production is in full-swing now, new crowns appear every day and the plants start to get sticky with trichomes. The aroma of the plants is getting stronger as well, the BADAZZ-CHEESE smells like a typical KUSH and the ZHEETOS like a CHEESE with sweet undertones of the Zkittlez. I LOVE BOTH SMELLS and cant wait to try this as my medicine. 😁

During week 9 the humidity inside the closet stays VERY high (max. at 94%) and I fear budrot 😳. Until now all is good, but that humidity level is dangerously high in flowering! The plants get the whole BIONOVA dedicated schedule and they LOVE the nutrients! 😍 All have a nice dark green color and grow like hell. I have to regularly defoliate the plants and take off the biggest leaves in order to ensure a good airflow through the closet. The super-cropped ZHEETOS #1 is AMAZING...all buds are glistening with trichomes and they are double as big as the buds on ZHEETOS #2...I am astounded with this particular plant, what a NICE SPECIMEN! The plants smell deliciously sweet and musky at the same time...the typical cheese aroma is clearly intermingling with the Zkittlez aroma...what a TREAT! The SANlight LED-modules inside the Growfor.Life-Closet are doing an OUTSTANDING job and the plants THRIVE in flowering, until now I am VERY HAPPY with this round! 👍😎

During week 10 I increase the dose of the BIO NOVA nutrients following their feeding schedule and add now 5 ml of PK13-14 per 7 liter of water. That increases the EC-value substantially, my meter shows EC=2,1...the HIGHEST I have ever given any plant. I am curious to see how the ZHEETOS and BADAZZ-CHEESE plants from BIG BUDDHA SEEEDS can handle this high amount of nutrients. All 3 plants have a beautiful healthy green color, no signs of any overfeeding and develop FANTASTICALLY! They still grow a huge amount of new foliage, which I take off from time to time, in order to ensure a good airflow in my GROWFORLIFE.COM-closet. The high humidity still worries me A LOT! 😩 The maximum level is soooooooooo incredible high (93%), that I fear the development of bud-rot. The plants have an AMAZING AMOUNT OF TRICHOMES, especially the ZHEETOS #1 is encrusted with crystals! Its a WONDERFUL thing to see. The aroma of the plants also intensified now and is VERY STRONG. The BADAZZ-CHEESE smells VERY KUSHY with undertones of Skunk in there. The ZHEETOS has a sweet, berry and vanilla aroma, which I find to be DELICIOUS! Every time I open my grow-cabinet now, a mouthwatering aroma-wave is greeting me, which I soundly ENJOY! 👍😃

Since the humidity stayed at a very high level, it was only a matter of time...HORROR!😱 I FOUND BUD-ROT! 😭 On day 73 (=Flowering Day 49) I spotted a white fuzz on my ZHEETOS #2 plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS. I took it out and inspected her closer and found budrot on the main stem and in the main bud. I immediately cut off the infected parts and tried to save the rest of the plant. (see first video above) Since I do NOT want to spray my plants with any chemicals, because they are my medicine, I resort to UV-C light. I use the CLEANLIGHT HOBBY UNIT (a UV-C plant protection light from the Netherlands, that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi) and shine the UV-C light on all my plants and the soil-surface in the pots (see second video above). This will kill all the remaining spores of bud-rot (which are a kind of fungus) in my closet and stop it from further spreading to my other plants. I also immediately stop giving any BIO NOVA nutrients from this moment on, although the plants LOVE THEM. But I have to do this in order to flush the plants before harvesting them. I cannot risk and wait until the plants are fully matured, I have to do an emergency flush and harvest as soon as possible, so I dont loose the rest of my medicine to bud-rot. Hold your thumbs that I can save them for a week longer...👍

After doing an emergency FLUSH for one week (=only ph-neutralized water, and then loooooots of it!) I did an emergency harvest at day 80 (=Flowering Day 56). This means the plants only flowered for 8 weeks and still have lots of white pistils, normally they would have needed another week (or maybe two) to really finish and for the trichomes to get all milky and some amber. Since the humidity level stayed immensely high (MAX of 92%) I could not risk to finish them, because I rather harvest early than have everything infested with bud-rot. The treatment with UV-C light from the CLEANLIGHT HOBBY UNIT helped a lot to prevent the spread of bud-rot and I was able to harvest everything that was left after I cut off the invested parts of ZHEETOS #2 last week. The BADAZZ-CHEESE #1 still has plenty of white pistils and would have needed to go 10 days longer at least. The ZHEETOS #2 plant had only little size side buds, since I had to cut off the main stem, and also would have needed longer to finish. The BEST PLANT was ZHEETOS #1 (all seeds are from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS) at this point, she is a BEAUTY! The plant was almost finished anyways (had almost no more white pistils) and had HUGE DENSE BUDS which are COVERED IN TRICHOMES! She SMELLS sooooooo INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! 😍 The aroma reminds me of VANILLA and is sweet with undertones of Skunk in there...a DREAM COME TRUE FOR EVERY GROWER! 👍 After cutting off all leaves that are bigger than my thumbnail from all plants, I cut them off at the main stem and hang them upside down inside my GROWFOR.LIFE-growcabinet. It is set to drying-mode (which has lights OFF and the exhaust fan on) and now I have to wait 10-14 days until the plants are dry enough to cut the buds off and put them into glass-jars for curing.

The ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS was GREAT to GROW and had HUGE BUDS, WHICH ARE EXTREMELY FROSTY and SMELL DELICIOUS! I had to do an EMERGENCY HARVEST, because of bud-rot (at least one week early, after only 8 weeks of flowering)! That has definitely diminished the total outcome of my harvest, it could have been more. I also lost the main stem and main cola on the ZHEETOS #2 plant to bud-rot, thats why the numbers above are on the lower side of what is possible with this BRILLIANT variety! 👍😎
Unfortunately I had to harvest the BADAZZ-CHEESE (=BADAZZ-KUSH x CHEESE) from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS early, because of looking bud-rot. The plant needed at least another 10 days to finish, she still had plenty of white pistils and would have gained in harvest weight and also produced more trichomes, if given more time. The final harvest weight of 31 gram dried bud, was still a VERY GOOD RESULT seen the circumstances. The buds are dank and have lots of trichomes, all in all a VERY NICE KUSH/CHEESE VARIETY!
