I really look forward to this grow and this strain. Master Sensei Genetics has never let me down with super large harvests and quality with a short time (70-80 days seed to harvest).
I germinated this seed by placing in a jar of water with 10ml of peroxide for 24 hours then placing in a damp paper towel for 24 hours. At the time of this post we are at Day 5 from seed.
Banana Durban got its first shot of nutes and veg tea this week. Nutes I started off light (2ml) and Ez Tea was 1Tbsp. I believe she is 9 days from seed. So this week I should start to see some rapid growth.
Banana is looking very good. I will be topping her this week. I have increased all nutes to full doses. I will begin pushing extra ML per feeding just to get some tip burn on my leaves so that I know that I am getting the maximum amount of nutes to the plant.
She is growing quick! I topped this baby on Tuesday and the new tops are already pushing 2 inches each. I also started pinning the branches down horizontal for LST. She has been receiving full doses of nutes plus Ez Tea and has been reacting great. These next couple of weeks will be all about LST and defoliation.
She is growing quick. So quick that she has broken two branches on her own that were pinned into the soil with garden wire. I have started increasing nutes to cause burnt leaf tips.
This week has been kind of hectic with my other grows.
I fed this girl an extra tea this week along with a shot of magnesium. She was starting to show signs of mag deficiency and I am pretty sure I know what triggered it. SLF 100. It's only supposed to be given once a week at 5ml per gallon. I have been in the habit of giving it 2-3 times a week at 10ml per gallon. SLF works great at breaking up the Herculean Crust on the top soil caused by Herculean Harvast from Nectar for the Gods. It's like concrete. SLF is also awesome at stripping the salts out of your soil. I believe that I stripped all salts/magnesium out of my soil including the magnesium my plants need. My bad, lesson learned. Anyways the plant is doing great right now, my other grows are rebounding. Banana Durban is starting to get her stretch on and is showing signs of preflower.
Not much of a change this week besides stretching and she is now into flower. I cleaned her up a bit by cutting some lower branches and leaves that aren't going to amount to anything.
This girl is really stretching. I've always had excellent results growing Master Sensei Genetics. She is always hungry. I did a little defoliation this week with a few leaves. Within the next couple of days I will start to lollipop her just to get rid of larf and useless growth.
