Budtender420 This will be my first Solo Cup Challenge, hopefully, I'll have decent results....the germination went well, I put the seed in the cup and in a couple of days we'll see the cotyledons.

Budtender420 Day 0 The seedling is starting to show, I moved the cup to a sunny spot but not too much to avoid burning the fragile root. Day 1 The seedling has popped up but still has the seed attached, I misted it with water to help it fall off. After about an hour, the seed fell off and the cotyledons emerged. Day 2 The cotyledons are starting to turn green and have opened up, plus the little plant is beginning to rise. Day 3 The plant is starting to accelerate and stretch. Day 4 The plant continues to stretch and develop. Day 5 The plant is starting to show new leaves and keeps stretching. Day 6 The new pair of leaves is starting to develop. Day 7 The first week has been passed with flying colors, no problems.

Budtender420 Day 8 a new week begins Day 9 the development continues great Day 10 the plant starts to stretch again Day 11 growth continues great and I removed the little black spot it had on the leaf, the plant doesn't seem to have suffered any stress Day 12 the spots have increased I'm afraid it might be mold, I removed them in time...let's hope they don't increase

hi, I strongly doubt that there could be mold on the leaves, especially at this stage. Looking at the photos and the slightly slow growth of your plants, I can't help but think that you might be overwatering them. I recommend (unsolicited advice :)) to water only when the pot is extremely light and to make holes (in case you haven't already) at the bottom of the cup to allow excess water to drain. best regards and good luck!

@horsemouth, as for the water, I give very little, just watering it like rain, so in the end it gets little/the right amount for the first few weeks and I made holes before putting in the soil... but unfortunately this cycle went wrong ;(
