Balcony Grow - Bag Seed

Troy_Farms Found a nice looking seed in an Ounce I got. Put it in storage for a year and then decided to try and germinate it. Success! This girl started MAY 2ND 2020.

Troy_Farms Only feed I gave was Humboldts Secret Golden Tree. Was not properly prepared for a grow, but she is going!

Troy_Farms The leaves have a bunch of fingers, some huge leaves with 13 fingers on some. She looks beautiful. Barely any fertilizer, mostly just water straight up.

Troy_Farms She has not started flowering yet. Speculate she is strong sativa and so longer flowering period maybe?

Troy_Farms Finally started pre flowering. I realized the apartment building across the street has powerful enough roof lighting to throw my girl and keep her from flowering naturally. So I have started bringing her in and keeping in dark room overnight for 12 hours.

Troy_Farms FINALLY got some flowering started. I trimmed a lot of back branches down since the south facing side receives all the light. Week 2 of flower.

Troy_Farms Here we go! about 6 weeks into flowering. I just moved to a new place, new Balcony (that receives better sunlight). I cut down about half of the plant because she was ridiculously bushy and not flowering. I cut a bunch o branches (like 6 or 7) in beginning of October in an attempt to stress into flowering to kick start her into flowering and it worked. Finally started producing and flowering. Buds are not crazy big but lots of small nugs going (12 or so tops). Very sativa in its flowering behavior. Nice trichrome production is finally happening, smells delicious. Trichromes are about 90% milked over so probably about 2 more weeks I would guess by looks of everything. Week 8 of flowering.

Troy_Farms 7th week of flowering. looking frosty. Smaller buds but this plant has had a journey so happy she is looking this good all things considered. Defoliated about half a paper bags worth of leaves in prep for harvest coming up soon. week 9 of flower.

Troy_Farms Coming into Week 28 and the 10th week of flower. Will probably harvest her this week. All things considered I am very happy with how she came out, looks like it will be a decent little harvest 😎

Troy_Farms This girl got delayed in flowering due to the neighbors outdoor lights. Didn't start flowering and it was coming to the end of September (time for early harvest for some outdoor varieties), so I was worried. Almost quit on her all together since she was not kicking into flowering. As a last ditch effort to stress into flowering I cut about half of the branches off. That worked and she finally kicking in and started flowering as September ended. She slowly got into flowering and the developing flowers looked nice. I used Bloom booster and Sweet and sticky to enhance flavor and flower. Curious to see how the end flower comes out. Colas didn't get super fat but looks quality. Should get around 2.5 ounces Dry I would guess. For an outdoor plant that is not that good but all things considered I am happy! I am glad I found this site so I can more accurately log my grows, and I will only be growing seeds from seed banks now so I will have the legit strain and information beforehand. Will update this harvest full when initial hanging is done in 10 days and I jar it all up. Cheers and here is the next harvest 😎
