I've had mixed results germinating Fastbuds seeds. Usually 1 seed doesn't germinate, which also was the case this time. 2 out of 3 seeds germinated. I've sprouted them in "Root!t" cubes, which I hope will give them a good start in life. The cubes has been planted into 5 gallon pots. Fastbuds have a tendency to be very fragile in the first couple of days of sprouting, so I will be careful not to over water them, and just generally keep an eye on the 2 survivors.
3 weeks does alot. This one is growing very nicely. Really nice big and fat leaves and I can't wait to see it branch out some more. I'll be LST this a bit later than the Gorilla Cookies to ensure a taller plant.
This pheno is a monster. I might have had some issues with this strain/seeds, but this fine lady is growing like crazy. Just check the diary and see the change in 1 week. It is INSANE ! I really hope it starts stretching soon or else it will be hard to get light down into the lower parts. I'm really looking forward to this. I'm going to be watching this every day and I can't wait till it starts flowering.
This strain is a bushy monster and I love it. But it is very hard to do any LST with it. Not a real tall plant, but insanely bushy. Can't wait till this starts flowering.
This plant is just a bush and I love it. I would love to be able to give this baby girl more space, but live and learn as they say. One thing I will say is that I would love to try this one out outside. I've only done a tiny amount of stress training and defoliation to reduce any stress. They are slowly showing signs of flowering, so next week might be the beginning of the flowering part of this diary 😃
Flowering time. Even though I'm a bit annoyed by it not being taller, this is still looking nice. I will definitely increase the distance to the light next time, which I figure was the main reason why it now growing taller. But it did get very bushy and that meant I had to do some serious defoliation to it so all these shoots could get any light at all. The fun part of this grow is to see if this will end up being one big bud. I mean, there are so many bud shoots and the grow pattern could force this end up looking like one big lollipop bud. That would be funny 😀
Moved it to a different grow tent this week, where it now will get 12 hour light/darkness. Again due to space, but also because this hasn't grown as tall as I would have liked. So there is really no reason to waste the space in the 18 hour tent. I'm still looking forward to trying this again, but it will most likely be outdoors, sometime next year.
Have kinda dropped this plant. It hasn't grown like I wanted it to, so it has been moved over in the corner of the tent and left for itself. Compared to the LSD25 I started, this is a major let down. The LSD25 is awesome and they've had the same life growing up, so the conclusion is that the "new" FatBuds strains aren't as stable as the older ones. But I will be trying this outdoor this summer and I hope that'll change the results.
Smells nice, but it is way too little. Hasn't grown enough, so it will end up being a tiny bush hehe. There is a lot of defoliation on this strain, but I'm looking forward to see how this strain reacts outside in the summer time.
