White Widow 1st Grow

DukieeDoo General Range Goals: Humidity at around 55-65 Temp F - 78-83 PH - 5.5-6.0 NPK ratio 2-1-1 Humidity will be solved once the plants get a little larger right now the fan will do more harm than good. The temps are a little low as well but it has been a balancing act keeping the temps up in this room with a space heater and a humidifier. Once i dial that in it should be better. I will update next week PH is higher than I want but my waters natural PH is higher than 10 so I dont want to overload the plant with Phosphorus this early on my NPK ratio is way off. if I add them all up it is 9-7-11 , but my theory is in the first week of growth I want to give them a broad spectrum of nutrients then once the roots enter the water I can dial in the ratios better. I noticed some sliminess to the bucket so I made sure to add more hydroguard, hopefully this helps. I moved some things around in the grow tent. Moved the light closer moved a fan on the outside so air can better flow in. added an oscillating fan (but currently too powerful) Some things I realized, I am going to have to keep my plant short. I was considering topping, but I think LST may be the way to go. But thats something to figure out later.

DukieeDoo This week I changed up the nute amounts to better represent the growing that happened. Trying to keep a ratio of 3-1-1. All that aside the plants are growing nicely. They havent sprouted any 5 pointed leaves yet, but it looks like one is on the way. Using Blue light has kept the plants short between the nodes

DukieeDoo This week I Topped plant 2 and LST plant 1. The curling of the leaves has become more minimal on plant 1 so I figure it must be because of the distance to the lights. Plants are thriving right now so I am pretty nervous about the Stress Training I have done, but hopefully the plants do ok. I added FloraGrow this time, we will see how the plants handle. I am really trying to maximize my space without over crowding it. So I think I will switch to Flower based on space I have. I really need to keep the plants low, so a net is going to be a must down the road.

DukieeDoo What I noticed from the week prior. I had the temp too high and I think there was some light leak. I cant really say for sure what the definitive cause was but I started to get root rot. I cured the problem and now the roots are looking healthy. What I did was put a cover over the clay pebbles, as well as duct taped the outside of the buckets (temp for this grow, next grow I will spray paint), I also lowered the temp in the room to make sure the water can stay cool. I also checked the week end PPM. It was about 871, and the water started at 715, this means that the plant was drinking more water than nutes. So I could probably afford to lower the nutes but the plant looks healthy and growing so I will keep the nutes the same and alter if I notice the outcome different next week. The LST and HST worked great, but I am seeing better growth from the FIM than I am from just LST alone. I pruned the leaves that were coving the new growth and the plant has just exploded this week. I would say between the two plant I have at least 7 new growths and potentially 3 more. I added a ScrOG, just to make sure everything stays low since that will be my main limiter. From bucket to max height for the plant is 30 inches (it can go higher but then i fear that it will get burned from the light. I am probably switch to flower in 2 weeks because of this. It will decrease my potential yield but I think it is the best I can do with what I am given. Just means I will be smoking sooner, but it also means I have to start growing again sooner to recoup my stash.
