First Grow - any help or advice?

Tracie67 This is my first indoor grow. Tried outside but had too many weather issues and ended up throwing out all of my hard work! Giving it another shot inside with an auto, in a 2x2 grow tent in a very small storage room. Totally inexperienced but really want a quality plant. Growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil with 30% perlite. End of the first week (after sprouting), plant is 1.5" and looking ok (I think). Gave a cup of water around the bottom days 2 & 5, a bit away from the stem so she had to go looking for the water.

Tracie67 She turned 2 weeks old today! Was an up and down week trying to stabilize the temp and rh in the tent but I'm hoping it's under control now. Gave her two cups of water this week (on day 12) and will wait until the end of the week to give her more. Noticed some new growth underneath which is great to see. Thinking that I should start to lst in a few days. Any opinions on whether it's time to lst or should I wait a couple more weeks? Any feedback on how she looks? Should I be doing anything different? Suggestions are always welcome but I am a newbie so please be gentle.

Tracie67 It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep the temp and hum consistant but doing the best I can within the boundaries I have :-). Increased water to 3 cups on last feeding (yesterday)….maybe a couple more waterings with plain h2o and then will start nutes. Smoked a bit too much one night and thought it would be a great idea to start lst but had major regrets the next morning because I know it's too early and should've left well alone! I was just getting excited and as already mentioned, probably smoked one too many j's. I haven't touched it since and am hoping I didn't screw it up too much. Hopefully I'll be able to continue lst by the weekend. As always, any advice is always appreciated, especially now!

Tracie67 Not sure what's happening to my leaves. I fed for the first time on day 23 as the leaf color was off a bit and she looked hungry. Really perked up after but now seeing some deformation on some of the leaves but doesn't look like nute burn but I'm really not sure. Also removed a couple fan leaves that were blocking new growth. Have only given plain 6.5ph water since but maybe she's looking for more food? Any thoughts out there? Otherwise, having a good 4th week....temp is good, rh is good, just waiting for some flowers to start.

Tracie67 What's going on with my leaves? It looks like some are deteriorating! Not sure if it's because perhaps I was too rough while doing some LST or if there is another issue that I am not aware of. Removed some of the fan leaves that were blocking new sites but otherwise, all is good. Going to increase amount of nutes on next feed (tomorrow) and maybe add a bit of Big Bud into the mix. Temp and RH are stable, just waiting for something to happen :-). As always, any thoughts or suggestions are always appreciated!!

Tracie67 Had a pretty decent week. Figured out that my leaf issues was most probably due to lst...I for sure wasn't gentle enough. Increased water, increased nutes and all looks good. She's now flowering and I'm getting excited that I might actually be doing something right! Starting to get a really nice aroma too. Also got a humidifier controller so now my RH stays in the 50% range making life so much easier!!

Tracie67 Starting to see some progress this week. Everything is under control and I think she's happy and growing well. Been alternating between straight water and nutes which seems to be working for now; may increase nutes just a bit on the next feeding as she really perks up after she's fed. Had to increase watering to 4 litres (minimal runoff) every other day and will probably need to increase again really soon. I've been lst'ing up until now but I think it's time to let her do her own thing. Maybe another 4 weeks left before chop?? As always, any thoughts or suggestions are always appreciated.

Tracie67 Another pretty good week, I think. I can see more and more trichomes every day and her buds are starting to bulk up a bit. She's very thirsty and is taking over 4 ltrs every other day. Giving nutes every other feed which is still working well. Maybe time to back off on the Big Bud and just give Micro, Grow and Bloom as I'm a new grower and don't want to add too much this time but thinking will add more nutes on my next grow. Any thoughts on Mantis Buffered Nutrients? Also, do I need to remove the tie downs from lst at any point? As always, any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Tracie67 Another really good week I think. Every morning when I open my tent, the smell gets stronger and stronger. Still feeding every other water but will now stop Big Bud and continue with just the 3 basic nutes. Maybe another couple weeks of nutes before flush? She drinks 4.5litres of water (minimal run off) every 2-3 days. FYI I bought Mantis nutrients to try with my next grow as I hear fantastic things about it and it's only one thing to add to the water....curious to see the difference in the plants. As always, any suggestions or advice is always welcome and appreciated.

Tracie67 Another really good week. Didn't notice any nutrient deficiencies or anything else. she's growing steadily and I'm hoping that I have only 2 - 3 weeks left before harvest. I have a digital microscope and loupe to help determine when will be the best time. I stopped Big Bud this week and am only giving Micro, Grow and Bloom but kept it at half strength every other water which seems to be working well. Maybe nutes for another week or so and then a final flush. As always, any thoughts or advice is always appreciated.

Tracie67 I think I'm almost there! She's really filled out this week and I've started watering with just cold water & ice on top to make her think that winter is coming. Not sure if it's just broscience or actually does something but figured, why not, couldn't hurt, right?. Everything is status quo. Keeping an eye on trichomes because she still has quite a few white pistols. I'm thinking another week or so and time to chop. Getting sad, I really don't want to chop her down, I've worked so hard with her but excited to try again....maybe a photo next grow. As always, any thoughts or suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.

Tracie67 Status quo....well, kind of. I think I made a mistake by stopping nutes too early. I really thought I'd be close to being done by now but trichomes are still not completely cloudy with little amber. So, I started giving nutrients again but just half strength. Right or wrong decision? If I don't feed then by the end, she'll have been without nutrients for 6+ weeks. Don't know what to do. Help please.

Tracie67 This was the last week. I've kept a close eye on her and the trichomes are nice and cloudy with a little amber here and there. I don't want too much amber so was afraid to leave her very much longer. She is now in the dark for 48hrs and will chop/dry later this week. Already preparing for grow #2 but this time I'm going to try a photo with topping/lst and scrog. Hoping I can manage well in my little 2x2x5 tent with a scrog net. Thanks to everyone that helped me through this. This is an awesome platform with some really terrific people!

Tracie67 Good overall experience for being a first time grower. Minimal issues. Plant was always healthy using Adv. Nutrients.
