Soaked for 12 hours in water & then straight into the soil. Popped out the next day. Growing under just 1.5 hours of direct sunlight (8:30 am to 10:00am) & 10.5 hours of shade. First week was cloudy and rainy. Seedlings started to stretch in search of light. Not much I can do about it as it's a stealth grow on a ground floor apartment window.

The week was cloudy & rainy. Stretching caused the seedings to topple over but they managed to get back up within a couple of bright days. Did not click photographs as the stress was higher than the excitement.

Got at least 1 hour of direct sun everyday. Watering moderately only is she asks. She responded well to the transplant & took off immediately. Tied her down (LST) on day 31 to avoid unwanted attention. She is revealing beautiful pink colours around the bud site. Not expecting quantity considering the limitations but very happy with her performance.

Day 36 - Changed her LST position. Day 37 - Responded well Overall the week was good. Days are becoming shorter (11.5 hours) and she is barely getting 1.5 hours of direct sun if not cloudy. The growth is slow but she is healthy & new branches are shooting out from the nodes. Watering when the top soil is dry (once in 6 days approximately)

Pistils all over. Potential bud sites are under development along with a few tiny branches from the lower nodes. She is getting covered with trichomes and revealing a bit of purple on the top new leaves. Noticed magnesium & calcium deficiency on the lower leaves so watered it with fine dolomite lime soaked water (1/2 teaspoon in 1 litre water). Also, fed her with 1/4 teaspoon epsom salt dissolved in water. She seem to love the feeding so I will repeat it again on next watering. The smell is weak but gives a good hint of her final terpene profile.

Currently at week 9. Earlier 8 weeks were already documented. It's my first auto grow in organic medium & fertilisers on windowsill with just 90 minutes of direct sun (8:30 am to 10:00 am) and remaining 10 hours of shade. I am happy with her considering the limited amount of light she is getting in addition to the stress and stretching she has gone through in the first 2-3 weeks due to cloudy rainy weather. Watering only when the top soil is dry. (once in 4-5 days) Getting bushy since last 10-12 days. The temperature is touching 34 degree celsius Day 57 - Removed 1 leaf from the bottom that was stuck between the lower 3 branches. I would still call it defoliation!! Pistils are turning orange but new white ones are also appearing at the same time. Calyxes are swelling a bit and I guess they will continue to swell. Hope the buds get dense. Emitting herbal pungent smell when around the plant. Smells like GARLIC to me!!

I will be shifting to another corner of the city in 12-13 days max. I don't think she will be ready by then and I will need to somehow shift it which is tough. Can anyone predict the amount of time remaining on her?

Hi three, I would say about 3 to 4 more weeks to go.If you want to finish her fast, giver her less sun light. But it could cause final yield. How many hour does she getting per day?I would say giver her only 6 hours per day and put her into darkness in other time.If you only have 12~13 days before harvest, Put her into complete darkness for 2 or 3 days before harvest. In that way, You can have a better one and that’s my advice to finish fast in your current situation Happy growing... ✌️

How much more swelling can I expect from the buds? Will they fatten up and when to expect fattening of the buds? How much quantity should I expect? Is 1/8 of an ounce (3.5 Grams) too much to expect out of her?

Hi there,The buds will be swelling until they are closed to harvest. You can get a better one by the advice I gave to you. Also It will be better if you know, when the harvest window is opened. During that time, the leaves will show deficiencies, yellowing and most of the white pistils become orange. The best method is using 60x microscope and check trichomes colour. If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour. For some trichomes with purple colour reflection, check the pistils to determine.Happy growing... ✌️

.....last week's progress continues this week. While the buds are fattening up & stigmas turning orange, new white stigmas are still popping up but at a slower rate. I think at least another two weeks remaining for the harvest. The pungent garlic smell is getting sweeter. Growing in less than 90 minutes of direct sun (8:30 am to 10:00 am).

Do the trichomes on Lsd-25 (FastBuds) turn amber or purple after cloudy? I can see some purple in the trichome stalks but not the head & most of them are transparent or slightly cloudy.

House shifting was done without any casualties but a few leaves were damaged by birds later on. She is happy at her new home with 3 hours of direct sun now as compared to just 90 minutes earlier. I have clicked a few macro shots of the trichomes for you people to see and suggest me with the harvest time. It was difficult to click a good macro shot due to the wind so please bear with the image quality. ***MACRO shots at day 77. The smell has transitioned from pungent garlic to sweeter garlic to fruity/ berries/ grape like. Bud colour is purple and big fan leaves have started to fade. The buds have got thicker than the last week due to swelling of the calyxes. Currently on day 80.

How much more time remaining on her? If you need to see more macro shots please check my week 11_day 77. The trichome stalks have started becoming purple 😈 . Too difficult to click a perfect macro shot due to heavy outdoor winds, so unable to distinguish between clear and milky.

She got a week plus left In her. Give her a bit more time to swell up on ya. Purple is considered it's amber color. Look for about 20% of them to be this way on the buds not the sugar leafs for a good harvest spot. 🤘😤

She continued to swell this week with a few white stigmas appearing randomly. The colours are getting darker on and near the buds while the bigger fan leaves continue to pale. She looks almost ready, but I am still trying to figure out the time remaining on her and when to harvest.

Purple strains are always hard to look at. But she's in the window of harvest. Its a 70 days strain and your are abiut 2 weeks laters wich seems just about right (70 days is for optimal growth) the with oistil poping here and there are like a last burst at reproducing. Kinda like foxtailing. You can chop here any time. I woulnd not suggest waiinh for the white pistil to turn but would look at trichome see if overall are milky in colors with a mininam amber and not much clear to none... It normal to have clear trichs around the pistil that are whit.le checke your overallbthat have turn. And give it only water

Is this a male pollen sac on my autoflower? Is she turning into a hermie? If yes then can I let it develop seeds for future use? How long would it take for the seeds to mature?Currently on day 88.

Yes, that is a male flower forming. From this size it will be about another 10-14 days at a minimum before it is mature enough to release pollen. After looking at your diary, your plant looks plenty mature enough to me, that I would be harvesting it anyway. Even if it does release pollen, it will take another 4-5 weeks for the seeds to grow to maturity. Some Cannabis (female) plants produce these male flowers right at the end of their lives, just before dying, in a last ditch effort to produce seeds for the next generation. This is also why when close to death, that they will sometimes also have a late/last small flush of new calyxes with fresh white pistils, in an effort to try and get "pregnant" or fertilized. Usually the pollen from these late male flowers is ok to use, however, you can also have a situation whereby you inadvertently breed plants that have a preference for producing male flowers, so in my opinion, it is not ideal to use the pollen from these late male flowers to breed from. Far safer and easier to buy seeds from the professionals or if you are interested in breeding, using pollen from pure male plants. This will provide seeds with far more stable genetics. As your plant is both producing these male flowers and late fresh calyxes, this tells me she "knows" time is running out in her life, and to leave the plant to grow any longer will just result in a lower grade of THC, as by the time this is all happening, the plants' metabolism has all but ceased and more THC is breaking down into CBD and CBN, than any new THC is being made. If you would like to see some pictures of what will happen with those male flowers once they grow, go to my diary called "Sweet, Sweet Seeds" #3 and look at pictures 29, 30 and 31. The male flowers in those pictures are about 6-8 days old and still need another 8-12 days before they would release pollen, had I not cut them off. I ended up throwing the whole plant away as those male flowers, were sprouting everywhere! Interestingly, that plant was from a "twin seedling, which can be seen in picture 27 and 28 in the same diary. Hope this helps,.... Organoman.

She continued to mature. Day 89: I noticed a banana on the lower bud. Nothing to worry since she is already mature. In fact I am hoping for some S1 seeds from her if that is possible. Day 90: Harvested half of the plant, leaving behind the bud with male banana. (Dry weight was 0.95 gm). I will mark harvest once the whole plant is harvested.

Harvested one more bud on Day 95. The reason I am keeping the lower plant alive and not harvesting it is because I have spotted a banana on one of the lower branches and I am hoping to get a couple of S1 seeds out of her. Its been a week since I spotted the male banana (photo in week 13) so I guess I will need to keep the lower part alive for another 4-7 weeks at least. I am not concerned about the yield because anyway it was stunted and would not yield more than 3-4 grams. I am curious about this experiment to see if she is able to bear a viable seed or not.

Week 16 passed. I have not clicked many pictures since not much is happening in the grow at present. The plant is still healthy and green. Around 3 weeks have passed since I first spotted the banana. So I guess I should keep it alive for another 3-4 weeks at least if I want a mature seed. I am assuming it would have pollinated surrounding calyxes even before I spotted the sac. I am very optimistic about getting S1 seeds out of her & very excited to learn from the journey.

Week 17 - Harvested another small bud before letting rest of the plant go on till it dies. The remaining bud might not be potent at all at the final harvest but may bear a seed or two for me if everything goes well. It's been 3-4 weeks since I spotted banana and I am assuming it might have pollinated a few calyxes though there is no visible pollen anywhere around the sac. I am trying to get a few S1 seeds from her if that is possible. Since it's my first grow my curiosity level is 100 and I am curious to try all that is possible with what I have. I will update final dry weight once all the harvest is done. The already harvested buds are kept for curing and yet to taste.

Week 18 was full of happy moments. My efforts and patience have started bearing fruits.. a seed I mean. I could not be happier to see the first glimpse of the bean. The S1 that I intended to obtain is in front of my eyes. Experienced people may comment if I should pluck the seed or let it stay there for some more time. Only 1 seed is visible yet which is on the closest calyx to the banana. The calyx has split open since 6 days and I am unsure if it's ready to be plucked or still maturing and accumulating potential energy. The plant has started to fade which means it is nearing the end. Since it's my first grow I am very very happy to see the positive results of my experiment that is getting S1 seeds. I am not planning to harvest the whole plant but just the calyx with the seed and let the remaining plant go on till it dies on it's own since it might have a couple more seeds under development. Too excited for next week!!

Is this seed ready to be plucked or is it still maturing and building up potential energy? Do seeds continue to grow after calyx split, even though they seem mature? Will it grow in size further and darker or is it dormant already? Should I save the banana for future pollination?

Seed looks mature enough for collecting. If left, there is the chance it may fall out by itself, never to be found again and yes, I am talking from experience. Seeds produced this way nearly always turn into plants that will also be prone to hermaphroditism them selves. Using the pollen on other plants will also produce seeds that are prone to hermaphroditism.

Harvest S1 seed this week. Looks very much ripe and viable. I will let it sit for 15 days at least before trying to germinate since I am not sure if she will give more seeds or not. I will harvest the plant in a week maybe.
