Growing my first auto!
Only water atm. I know I should plant in its final container, but j honestly I'm afraid to over water, so I'm going to transplant to final container tomorrow morning... Also, using a CFL for the seedling stage before bringing into the grow tent with the HPS.
Looking good so far.. Reason its in 1212 is I'm just waiting for other plants to harvest so I can put it up to 20/6 which I've heard is the best light:darkness ratio I've read? Regardless, looking good so far.
Things are starting to shape up. I can tell an increase in size. I'm about to harvest my other plants so next eek they should be under 20/4 lights with a metal halide.. But I've heard ppl get better results using a HPS for autos.. Any opinions?
Starting to flower this week. The stalk gaining some thickness.
Gave a dose of bud blood; hoping not too much for an auto. Guess we'll wait and see?
Otherwise been growing great! Finally was able to put it in 20/4lighting today as well.
I'm letting it grow xmas tree style because I've read this strain grows best left alone. However, I did defoliate today to open things up.
Leaves are really nice green, looking very healthy.
Thebuds are starting to grow. I'm amazed how fast autos tally grow. After well 4 from seed they really take off.
I think I'm going to always keep an auto in my tent. Keeps my stock up longer for sure
Gave a final feeding of overdrive. If everything goes to schedule harvest should be next weekend. Top hairs are already starting to turn orange.
Starting to add size. Not much smell yet.
I flushed last week; still not light though yet. Prefer it to dry a lil more before harvest. Maybe another day or two.
Seeing a lot of milky trichomes, but not much Amber, if at all. It really thickened up and the aroma is much stronger so I know she's def. Close.
Was a great grow. First time growing an auto and was even better then expected. I received these as freebies from making a large "420" order.
No popcorn buds at all; everything was very dense. Tbh, the buds remind me of "beasters" back in the day; if anybody remembers that lol. Not much of a smell right now, but its still curing.
Tastes amazing! Honestly, it tastes like smoking a vape pen. I used fox farms oceanforest soil so did not add liquid nutes until flowering. Then gave a 1 week flush. I'm sure this helped.
The high is great medicinally. Very relaxed and happy. Euphoric for sure. Thanks seedsman. I honestly will make sure to always have auto kush by seedsman in my arsenal.
I let this plant x-mas tree because I didn't want to stress it knowing any stress usually bad for autos. Although I've seen the same strain topped with great results.
I have 3 seeds left of this hindu kush auto so I plan to top the next round and see how it goes.
