FIrst off I would like to thank Sweet Seeds for their generous gift and giving me an opportunity to smple some of their genetics. You will notice that the growth of theses beans are slow and that has nothing to do with the genetics as I'm intentionally starting them off slowly as my flower/veg room is occupied at the moment. They will be moved into their resting place at the end of November when they can finally take off in all their glory!!! Once again big shout out to SWEET SEEDS!!! thank you and hope to do you proud.
unfortunately I have no pics to share this week and the following week as I was away for my hunting trip. Not too much excitement as these girls start there cycle of life.
Talking with the wife and all is well, the girls are growing. A couple of the gorilla girls are stretching and kinda flimsy. This could be attributed to the fact I'm using florescent tubes for these earlier weeks of veg. Otherwise all good 👍
Ok to start off I know I screwed myself on this one 🙃 as mentioned before i started these plants too soon as my room was not ready for the veg. I now have a ring around the base of the stem. I was not overwatering during this time as I didn't want huge plant for the transition. Not sure whats going on may have to see if I can cut them and re-root. This will no doubt add a few weeks to the harvest time. However this gives me time to fill in the other half of my garden.
Oh man I can't explain how wonderful growing these plants have been this far. The aroma from the three different strains are intoxicating. Gorilla girl smells like a fruity bouquet ripe with crystals. My lord how black jack smells of haze!! So much so that if I give her a scratch and sniff the whole room reeks of her. As for the cream caramel just a good old fashioned indica exhibiting characteristics great smell.
Yum, yum !!! Took some cuts of all three this week and think the gorilla girl is going to be a great candidate for half the garden next grow. Just love the size and smell of the flowers!!
Hope I can hold out for a couple of more weeks, should have had a second trellis to support the gorilla girls as I as I wasn't expecting the lower flowers to get so big. Thing are leaning everywhere. I am grateful that its quite dry where I am and don't have to worry about mold too much. I do have a bit of wind burn as you can see in some of the pics but very hardy plants overall.
