This week had a few surprises...the 1st being that the stems broke on bruce banner when I tried trying to LST the 2 new colas.my instinct told me to wait a few more days, but my impatience cost me almost a week of stunted growth on 1 of the colas. One thing I can say is that she is a very resilient plant and found a way to recover nicely. This incident made me come up with a new game plan. Instead of doing a traditional mainline, I intend to do Nebula's manifold on her.. The 2nd surprise of the week was when my new PH and Tds meter was delivered yesterday (12/15), I found out that the ones I was using since starting this grow., that they were inaccurate. When I checked the ph of the coco medium with the new meter..my ph was below the ideal range at 5.0 ph(which explains the brown spots on the leaves)..so today I did a flush with mild strength nutes at a ph of 6 to help bring it up to a ph of 5.5, I will gradually increase the Ph during the next few feedings..other than that..I must say that the ladies are some fighters, so far they are very resilient to adversity that comes their way..I will keep yall updated in my next upload next week. And for the record this is my 1st grow, I can honestly say that I have done a tremendous amount of researching on growing cannabis before I started. We shall see how well it will pay off at the end. Happy growing π
