This is day 10. The cheese is bag seed from some amazing critical cheese I had . 1 seed in an other wise seedless quarter oz. Really cheesy pheno so had to see what this seed does. Growing just fine so far.
The c99s were bought as a pack of 4. 1 didnt germinate and 1 was a mutant.
The remaining 2 look identical so far.
I had only planned on keeping the best looking c99 as 2 plants is pushing it in my small space.
I plan to take a few lower branch clones of each at at some point
Haven't been able to update as had a lot going on.
I ended up only being able to keep 1 of the plants due to being house bound and only having enough soil for 1.
I ended up choosing this c99 as it exhibited a strong bubblegum smell from the stems right from the start while the other had none.
It turned out to be the right call.
I have tied down the main cola , it has very flexible stems, so now i got a nice flat canopy.
Ive took about 4 cuts off it to try and clone it and 3 of them just didnt react badly ..they went all twisty within 24hrs then got stem rot within a week.
These were kept under the led all day then took out during the dark period to stop them flowering. ..so yeah, they didnt like it.
I got 1 survivor which i have kept out of the led light. Its not getting any direct light source ,just sitting in a room with the room light on. No twisting no rot and nearly a week old. I really hope it roots as this plant is awesome and i know it is gonna be fire.
Coming up to 3 weeks of true flowering.
Good news and bad news.
Ive stumbled upon the holy grail pineapple pheno. Its just a beautiful specimen of a plant, flowers are just going crazy right now and already producing frost.
The smell from the stems has been like bubble gum up to now. But the frost its producing can only be described as 'pineapple juice'
The bad news is, its a bitch to clone and all of my attempts have died.
Will try and reveg it , though my last reveged plant produced what could only be described as ditch weed.
But then again i didnt flower any if the reveg clones i took, maybe they would have turned out better.
Just to note she was vegged 20 days but was pretty small. But i flip when a plant is working on its 8th node so it had 7 nodes but was only about 4 inches tall.
Flipped her on the 1st dec and she has then stretched for 4 weeks but i didnt get flowering to start until the 17th.
So even though this is week 4 of 1212 its really only like week 2 of true flowering
