Day one through day 9. Started out with a seed I found in my weed from the dispensary. I germinated it in a moist paper towel and ziplock bag. Planted her once she sprouted out. This is the first time I have grown so this is all an experiment at this time. I had a 29W LED light hanging around so she was either getting natural sunlight or light from the LED. Started ordering stuff for an indoor grow tent. Bought nutrients but the wrong soil so she is only getting water until I am set up semi right for a first timer. New dirt and pot will be needed. Its Colorado so humidity is going to be tough for me I think.
Day 9-15 - My grow tent is set up at this time. 2x2x4. Ventilation system set up, lights set up, and she seems to be doing good. Transplanted her into a better pot and soil for her veg state, plan to transplant her again in two weeks into her final pot (2 gal). Im only growing one plant and its a small tent so this might be a little lady when its all done. Been getting information from here, other online sources and friends who grow on how to go about things. As this is my first go and will all be for personal I am not super worried about getting the huge buds or large yields so my humdity wont be perfect but I'm doing to make everything perfect for her. Have a feeling I will have to force flower sooner than later as I am not sure if this will be a female or male. Fingers crossed she is a she. Adding only about 20% recommended nutrients as the stuff they sold to me at the Hydroponic store was for Coco/Hydro but from doing some research I should be able to use these nutrients just fine. Im happy at this time.
She is blowing up and getting thirsty, she is needing feeding every 1.5 days and is growing quickly. She is working on her fourth node and getting strong. Starting to smell some so its been enjoyable to open the tent and smell the goodness. I upped her nutrients just a little, still seeing what amounts would be good with the soil. Depending on how she is doing next week I will likely transplant her into her final 2 Gallon pot and two weeks after that I will likely flower. I would like her to be ready mid February if possible. Dont think I will do any training or topping because I have no idea what to do lol. Need to keep reading and watching what you guys are doing!
Its week 4 coming to an end and I transplanted her into a 2 gal pot. She looks a bit sad a day after transplanting so i am hoping she makes it through the next few days. Not a whole lot to say because I am freaking out about her switching pots lol. Temps are staying steady and PH is good, hope all turns out well. Fingers crossed, happy growing!
Week 5 and she has been enjoying her new pot. I upped the Nutrients but I think she didnt like that to much as I spotted some nutrient burn on 2 leaves. Thursday was supposed to be feed day but she just received water and seemed to really enjoy that. I have been bad at filling the humidifier before i head to bed but it doesnt seem to hurt her much or at all. I think one to two more weeks of veg and then I will start flower. I trimmed some of her up at the bottom and started training a branch I left because she seemed like a monster. Hope everything is well, happy growing
Final week of veg for her. She stretched out fast this past week and so I topped her to save room in the grow tent. My buddy took a look at her and let me know I had a Nitrogen problem and thats because I upped the A and B way to much. Due to this being a Hydro A and B I cannot up the amount like i wanted too; will need to keep it around 1.5 to 1.75 ml. Since i found out she had a Nitrogen property i only fed her water this week. With no nutrients beside some root take her tips are starting to go straight. Flower is starting tomorrow at 8 AM! happy growing everyone, hope this goes well for me.
First week of flower is completed. She seems to be doing fine. I removed some fan leaves as they were just in the way. She is starting to smell real nice and seems to be happy. feeding every three day and switching between water and nutrients. She seems to be pretty sensitive to the nutrients even though its pretty minimal. Will have to reduce again or feed her less nutrients. Hope to see some flowers next week. Happy growing.
Week 2 of flower and things seem to be doing ok. My furnace shut off in the middle of the night and my house was freezing when I woke up. My tent stayed at 68 degrees with the light on so hopefully it wasnt to stressed out. Things seem to be going well. I started to take a few leaves off here and there. No more large fan leaves at this time and i hope this helps with the flowering. Ill do the final clean up at the end of next week and then we are off to the races on the final 6-8 weeks. Happy growing!
Week 3 of flower and things seem to be going well. I defoliated her this week and think it looks to be in good shape. She continues to stretch at this time so I think flowering might be on the longer side of things since she is more of a sativa from what I can find. I have been using hydro nutrients in soil and I think its turning out well so far and will keep going well as long as I dont overdue it. Im only giving 50% of the recommended amount of bud booster because she is only needing 32 oz of water per feed. She is ready for food every 3 days and i am enjoying the results at this time. Happy growing
Welp this week was going smooth until today when i woke up and found nanners on her. She definitely hermed on me and i do believe it was because my tent got to hot or it was because of genetics. The see i did find came from a herm flower and i knew this was going to be risk but thought because she was doing so well it might not happen. She is frosting up nice thought. I pulled off the nanners i could find and flushed them. Hopefully i can keep doing this but it doesnt mean they are hiding in my buds already. Pretty sad day but I am learning more and more everyday. Hope all is well with everyone else's plants and happy growing.
All is well for now. I think I found all the nanners that popped out, total of 6 I think. None of the buds looked like they were pollenated but I think thats because I acted fast and have been making sure to check her out when lights come on and before lights go out. Buds seem to be getting larger and getting nice and frosty. Im going to make sure to keep an eye on her but im hoping 3-5 more weeks for her and my first grow will be completed. I am hoping to have two or three plants next round but this one plant has been nice to learn from so far.
Things are going well. Its been some weeks since the nanners showed up and it seems like it didnt really effect the plant much. She still going and looking ok,. Its likely i will get less than an ounce off of her as she seems to be pretty small. The nugs on her are dense so far so maybe i will get more than i expect. Going to keep pushing her these last few weeks and see how it goes. Happy growing.
Things are going well for her. She is producing a lot of trichomes and still getting fatter buds. I think I'll have to let her keep flowering her for two more weeks and then flush on week 10. Ill be checking her trichomes sometime next week and take a guess on when to chop her down. I am excited to get this first ever grow done so i can move on to another grow right away. I do plan to do seeds, unsure if i will be doing autoflowers or regular seeds from the shops here in Colorado. Happy growing everyone.
I think this was the final week for the nutrients, she seems to be getting ready to be done. I plan to just flush her this coming week, 2 days of dark, then she will come down. I am pretty excited to see how she turned out. She is frosty and smells great. Hope all are enjoying their grows and its been enjoyable like it has been for me. Ill keep you update on the goods! Happy Growing!
Last week of my grow and I am excited to cut her down. Its been a long 15 weeks but I think I did a great job with what I had. Bag seed is a toss up and you never know what is going to happen. This was a good week with no issues. I flushed her and gave her last feed with water PH to 6.4. She started off strong grew well, then hermed on me i think around week 8 or 9. I was lucky enough to take whatever pollen sacks I found and she didnt end up getting pollenated. She is going to sit in the dark for 24-36 hours and will be getting chopped down after that. I am really excited to see how she looks. Her buds are dense and the trichomes are milky. Not to toot my own horn but she looks better than the pot I found the seed in. Next grow will be a clone that I am getting from another grower but i have also ordered some auto flowers, just not sure when they will be in, seems like most seed banks are sketchy on time frames. Hoping things turn out well for me and i hope things turn out well for all of you. Happy Growing!
Harvest was easy and quick as she was a small plant. I did cut myself but what can ya do. I was a bit disappointed about the weight but I am still learning on how to add more weight on the plant.
