Auto Mix

I am not sure when to actually start veg cycles, but here is the first real week that I count. They have been planted. They (well most) have sprouted and have a week plus into grow, so I am starting the veg cycle. Hope this is accurate because this is how I count. 😘😜 Gorilla Glue Auto..........This one was my choice. This one I was excited about. This one has failed me miserably. I have 5 seeds. I have tried 3. Two right into the soil with a humidity dome and one trying using the paper towel method after soaking for time in water and sitting in a dark place. All 3 have failed me. The ONE I really really really.....I MEAN REALLY wanted to be successful! 😢😭Sadly the three I have tried were not. I am going to wait until the next cycle to try them again. Too sad to try again now. Bruce Banner, Blue Amnesia, and Auto Jack are all doing amazing! Technically they would be taller, but my husband added some more dirt mix to the bases of the sprouts. Lights were lowered to 18 inches to promote lesser growth of height and to see more width gain. We will be introducing LST this week with the Blue Amnesia and Auto Jack. With the Auto Jack, we are thinking of trying FIMing. Reading up more on doing this with autos before we actually decide. This FIMing obviously will not happen for a few weeks, but at least we are looking more into it well before trying. :) Bruce Banner: we are just going to grow up and see how he goes. :)

Bruce Banner: Doing well and spreading out. Midweek we are going to start some LST and probably FIMING. I just wanted to do one of these, but my husband and I are in debate. I see a huge difference in growth using these new lights. (Teehee WHO KNEW?) 😌 With the lights lowered last week we wanted to see this nice spread and fill out. Width versus height in the beginning to promote blah blah blah...….I am sorry. I phased out when I was listening. I honestly try to pay attention and am interested. However, I get distracted easi......SQUIRREL! Seriously though. I do not remember what it is called or why it is better to start this way. However, my husband wanted to do this and he is the grower. I am the show-er. Get it!!! I am such a dork. 😅 When I have the words. I will update here or next week. Auto Jack: Toppled over suddenly one day. One minute she was fine, the next she dropped. Husband took more mix and fortified her base. Husband thinks when we watered last he didn't spread out the water well at first, so the center must have become less stable. She is doing really well now. Height has changed with the added mix, but you can still see TONS of growth on her. I honestly think she's doing the best out of the mix we have done. Blue Amnesia: She is tall and spreading out. We are deciding to leave her alone and just let her go. She's got some stretch, but I would love to see her expand outwards more. Gorilla Glue: 😭😭😭 Three seeds, Three fails!!! I am sooooo sad. This is the ONE. This is what I wanted and I have failed. OK so moving forward with this one. I am NOT done. I have three more tries. However, right now I am tabling this and it is going on the back burner for a while. Going to do more research. Find more diaries with this seed. Then more research. Then going directly to the producer and reading from them. Finally after all that I will be SUCCESSFUL in growing this. When that happens, I will have a diary specifically for that one. Until then, no more mention of this from me. 😭

Ok so I touched these ones too. However, they still look amazing. I was worried the grow medium in the middle was eroding and added..........this is not ok because my husband was taking care of it and blah blah blah😒.....How dare I try to murder these small innocent babies? HAHAHAHA 😬😂 So we had a little back and forth tiff (through laughing our butts off) and although I was right, I still cannot touch the plants. Bruce Banner: The same (almost)can be said for all. WOW! Growing and spreading and doing amazing and and and!!!!!!! For this one no FIMing and no LST. Just watching her grow normal. Jack: Growing well. This one was in LST and we were FIMing. However, we took the restrains off and we'll perform no more FIMing and will just let her grow now. We may tie back some bigger leaves for light exposure, but that's all. Just let her grow! Blue Amnesia: Huge leaves. My husband wanted me to do a comparison photo. I used my hand. Perfect for him to see the difference, but not really you guys since my hand is big? small? medium? Yeah sorry! 😕 I will use a ruler next time. LOL

They have almost doubled in size in a weeks time. I love seeing this! Short story. Hubby went away for the week for work and I was in charge was only watering. LOL OMG right!!! He is freaked out and comes home to these lovelies!!! 😎 That's right! I kept them alive for the week! Woot Woot!!!!!!! BB: Doing really well. Not FIMed and is the one we are just letting go and being. BA: SOOO TALL! It is amazing to see how freaking huge her leaves are. AJ: She was FIMed and is showing really great growth and stretches to show off her arms. Not doing much with these. NO changes in anything foreseen for this week.

We put down a little more diatomaceous earth and added some into each pot. We added some nutrients also and mixed it all into the substrate. We had to treat all plants with neem oil as they had thrips. We have been checking everyday. So far so good, but its only been a couple days since treatment. Auto Jack: 14.5 inches. On 12/21/20 we started to see the pistols and knew she was going into flower. I took a couple pictures of the pistols that day and a couple pictures of her today. Once they are all flowering I will choose flowering as the week type. :) Blue Amnesia: 16 Inches. Growing tall and wide. she's such a beauty. Bruce Banner: 12 inches. She is doing well like the others. Growing and spreading.

Auto Jack: Going into her second week of flower. She is doing well. We added some Pure Blend Pro Bloom with her watering. Bruce Banner: Hasn't started to flower, but is doing well. Blue Amnesia: Grew quite a bit this week and is doing well. Is not in flower yet. We are pretty much just letting them go and grow. Keeping them on a 18/6 light schedule. Once all are in flower on their own we might switch lighting schedule.

AJ: is looking good. however, she looks like she is going to be finished soon. I am paying close attention and watching the trichomes. BB: hasn't started to flower and has slowed down in growth. Hopefully she will start to flower soon. BA: Still going strong. Not flowering yet. My Husband and I will probably be switching them over to a new light schedule to try to pop them into flower. Auto's do it themselves, but we want to see if that will push them into it sooner. Not sure if that is a good idea or not. We will see.

Auto Jack: Had to put some stakes in and give her some support. She is coming along nicely. Was able to get in a couple shots of her trichomes. Almost all clear. Have a ways to go, but she is looking good. Super sticky and smells amazing! Blue Amnesia: She is starting to show a little bit of the hairs, so she is finally starting to flower. Nothing different done with her. Bruce Banner: No signs of flowering. Nothing new to report here. My husband wanted everything on the same time, so all plants have been moved into the grow tent (new 4x4 Opulent) and are on 12 hours of light. He knows with autos that really doesn't matter, but he wanted to get everything in a neat little order in his new toy. I mean tent. new tent. 😝

Ok so out of 4 we have two left. Blue Amnesia: was found with a whole bunch of balls. I included a couple of pictures in case someone reading this does not know how to determine a male. The pictures I took was of just one side of one head. He was filled with little ball sacs. I wanted to keep him. (free seeds in my mind 😂) Husband did not want to chance him in the house, so he was thrown away.😢 Bruce Banner: Wk 2 Flower. Finally showing little pistols and is doing well. AJ: Week 5 Flower. Looks amazing. A few of her trichomes have turned a little milky. However, she is still pretty clear. The picture showing a couple tiny spots of amber is on one of the main colas. (reminder: I started fiming her before realizing that is a bad thing to do with autos unless you know what you are REALLY doing. according to a lot of what I have read.) We may pull main colas, if they are ready well before the others. Will continue with the bloom nutrients until I see more progress on the trichomes. Really trying to get the timing right.

Auto Jack: 6 weeks into flower. She is getting closer . I see quite a bit of milk in the trichomes, some have a little bit of amber going on. Not too much to worry about. We are going to start flushing her starting today. I am guessing a week and a half to two weeks before she comes down. Bruce Banner: She is starting her third week of flowering and looks good. Pretty excited to see how she turns out. :) Nothing special to add here. Just regular maintenance.
