We were lucky enough to be gifted a couple clones of strains we enjoy from a good friend. We received them last week, but with hunting they were shoved to the side to wait until we could move them into the room. Unfortunately they sat under a 40 watt light for 3 days. However, this past Tuesday they were moved to the plant room and under proper care and lighting now. (New pots and everything) We do plan to do different things depending on the plants growth. By this time next week my husband and I will have chosen the ones we are going to fim and lst. We will leave one of the VGs to grow as is. Normally I wouldn't do group diaries but with these and the auto mix itll be easier to keep track since we are basically treated them all the same.

HUSBAND WENT HYDRO!!!! Yes that is right. He decided to take one of his gifts and try a homemade hydro System. He is using a 4 gallon bucket (kitty litter container teehee!), an 20 gallon air pump with stone, and a pool noodle. Nutrients all added to water. Vanilla Gorilla 1: He took the one my dog ate most of (Yes, my baby is well. She just got tired a little and is doing just fine) and used it to see if it will work. So far she is doing well enough to be growing already. We shall see ladies and gentleman, we shall see. :) Slurricane, Hoe Down, and Vanilla Gorilla 2 are all tied for some LST. We will be FIMing all soon to see more of a spread.

VG1: She didn't like the transfer at first into the hydro. We adjusted her to be more directly under the light as she was skirting the outside more then the others. She is only getting the Pure Blend Pro Grow now since she went hydro. Did a water change to start this week and FIM in a couple of spots. She is doing much better now. VG2: Growing and doing better. Still doing LST and FIMing. Haven't done much with her. Letting her grow and be. :) Slurricane: Growing fast. Tall and wide. She is overshadowing the others BIG time. I LOVE IT! It is like I see her grow daily. I wish I had proper camera set ups to capture her on video.....someday!!! 😁After a lot of research and making sure I do not look like more of a fool than I am. HEHE. But you LOVE ME!!! 😍😘 Hoedown: Dilemma!!! I think I messed up. I think I over stressed the middle of this plant. Possible Problem pic. I have lessened the strain, but am thinking I should wrap this girl with tape too help her along. That will be my question this week. I was hoping my doing this with her, she would maybe sprout another "arm" or whatever everyone else calls them. 😆I hope I didn't hurt her too bad. She is growing well otherwise. FIMing was done and midweek plan to start some other LST on one side due to growth.

Possible Problem!!! I have an issue where I think I should wrap a section on my plant. She looks like she is going to split. Should I let it be or wrap her with tape for extra support?

Wrap it up.Its pretty skinny and lanky,Is it just 1x1000w led? They say you don't get any spread with led and its only good for lighting directly under the plant.1 lamp 1 plant. They're all stretching for the light.I guess its not a true 1000w,it only looks small with 100 led's which will be 3 watt max I guess.300w tops.Raise those shorter plants with stools or books, anything to get the plants closer to the light. If it doesn't hurt your hand then it wont hurt the plant.Get some more light asap. You can't beat a 600w metal/sodium lamp for spread. It will light 150mm square with no problem.I think your buds will be very small on all plants except the one under the light. Sorry.

OK this is the reason my husband does not let me touch the plants. I did my thing and of course I killed something. I cannot keep house plants. Outside in the garden, I do really well! If you have a plant that you think NO ONE can kill that is an inside plant.........Give it to me, and I will kill it. It is sad, I know. 😥 Hoedown: I broke it. The split I was worried about came from me. I split her and the smaller arm died. I really did try to tape her together, loosen the supports, and snap. I feel on top of the plant and split her. Yup! Who falls on plants? 👈 That's me! ✋ her larger arm is doing really well. She is being curved around her pot and producing so many arms stretching. Still closely watching her and no. I am no longer touching her. Hydro VG1: Not doing well. My husband is doing lots of research and is making adjustments. I have no idea what they are at this moment. I will update as soon as I know. VG2: She's an amazing gift. She's growing well and we love watching her. Slurricane: WOW. She is getting massive. All show signs of calcium deficiency, so we have some coming and will add it to the mix when it arrives. Also put down some Diatomaceous Earth for preventative because of mites we found on one plant (different room), the clones coming in (you never know), and I noticed some slime. (Thrips maybe have not found any and have thoroughly looked daily) We have also ordered some neem oil and another product. ( I am not sure about) Trying to do right and be prepared. I keep reading the best method is prevention.

I am so happy the Hydro VG is growing. We thought she was done for but, she is growing and producing new arms. She still is not as lovely as I would like her to be, but we are working on it. Slurricane: Just a show off. Bigger and better each day. VG 2: So much growth. Hoedown: She is doing amazing even though I accidently broke her other half. She keeps showing me she is tough and I cannot wait to see her end result. For all of these we are continuing the same. Keep them happy and let them grow. *NOTE* with Slurricane my husband wants to clear her lower branches of growth and keep them clear from now until harvest to see how she will turn out. He keeps saying he wants to pop her into flower, but I want to see how much more growth we can see in a couple more weeks. yeah! He will win that argument.

We added more diatomaceous earth when we added more of the 4-4-42 into the substrate. We also sprayed them down with neem oil as they had thrips. It has only been a couple days, but I haven't seen any sign of them. We will see. We are paying very close attention to them. Hoe Down: 15.5 Inches. I don't know what to do with her arms. The people on here that I have seen do this make it look soooooo good and have them tied all nicely and stuff. Well I have not mastered that yet. She is strong and doing very well. VG1 Hydro: 21 inches. I couldn't help it, I really thought the roots looked so kewl!!! I snapped a few pics while my husband was cleaning out her home. (or changing water or something I am not really sure) She is getting big and soooo strong. BTW my husband has started his own diary with just this one. He wanted me to still include my updates on this one here too though. So if you see another one just like this.........it is probably my hubby! 😍 VG2: 23 inches. She is a non-stop grower. My husband decided to do some defoliation and trim her lower branches to give more focus on the upper growth. He said we will have to do this again, just after we start her into flowering. Slurricane: 28 inches. Husband put some supports on her and tied some branches to open her up. He is debating whether to throw them all into flower already. I'm game either way!!!

The Slurricane and the VG2 was moved into and area to start their flowering process. Both are doing well and growing tall. The Hydro VG1 and Hoedown are not in flower because my husband wants to see how much more the hydro will grow. He gets his way alot. Probably a good thing since he knows more and I kill plants. LMAO!!! 😋 To the flowering plants we added Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom. We do still have leaves that are yellowing. Especially on the Slurricane. We thought it was from the bugs and neem oil we used to kill The bugs. Yes they are gone. (for now) still monitoring this everyday and have put down diatomaceous earth again for added preventative. We have added calcium. we have adjusted lighting, humidity, and temperature. Still she's yellowing. We have read several instances of plants yellowing and are fine. However, we are still doing research to find out what else it could possibly be so she can grow well. The yellowing has not hurt the growing process of the slurricane, but I still want to know what is going on. More research and I will update when I have more.

Slurricane: Had spider mites again. We treated with neem oil and sprayed the VG2 since they are both in the same room. Gave her a bit of defoliation and she is looking much better. Still has yellowing leaves and we are watching her closely. Is on a 12 light schedule but do not see any flowering signs yet. VG2: is growing and doing well. Have not seen any flowering signs yet. Only started 12 hour schedule a week ago, so I am not surprised. :) Hoe down: doing well. Want to put her into flower, but my husband wants to wait longer. VG1 Hydro: She is doing amazing. Looks beautiful and is super strong. I cannot wait to see her in flower. I am trying to talk my husband into putting the HD and VG1 hydro into a 12 hour schedule. He is fighting me about it because he wants what he wants. I don't know what he wants. LOL It would just be easier for me to document if everything is the same all around. THIS is why our next project will be all the same strain. One strain of photo. One strain of auto............ok so that is my wish, but it won't happen. 😆😂

Finally all are in flower! Slurricane: She is doing ok after her treatment for mites. She has always looked a little bit sad, but she seems to be trucking along. No added care other then normal. No sign of mites still and we continue to check. VG1 Hydro: Gave her some new clean water and she is doing well. She is now in flower. VG2: Went into flower with the Slurricane, but still isn't showing any signs of flower. HD: She had been crushed by my husbands new grow tent, as it was being set up. My husband just wants to throw her away but I have faith she will pull through. All plants have been moved into their new home. 4x4 Opulent grow tent. Hopefully, they will all thrive and grow some amazing flower.

Hoe Down: Different things keep falling on her. First it was the tent. Then it was a fan. Lastly, the support on the Hydro came loose and the hydro fell on her as well. My husband has wanted to throw her away for a couple of week now, but I am not giving up. She does look pretty bad, but I want to try to get her healthier and see it through. VG1 Hydro: Looks really good even after falling over. She was given a light defoliation. Just keeping up with her and watching her. VG2: Looks good. Just going to keep doing regular tasks. Slurricane: ok She is yellow. I mean so sad. she has been for some time. Other clones from the same batch were not yellow. No matter what I do, she just looks awful. She's still flowering though. So we push through and see what she will do.

Hoedown: As you can see she is a mess. I will not give up on her though. I even told my husband to not throw her away. I want to see what she has in her even after all the crap I have put her through. Slurricane: Still super unhealthy looking. No matter what we have done with her and have tried to help her, she just is. She is producing tiny flowers, but honestly I do not expect much from her or the hoedown VG1 Hydro: She is still beautiful and is growing well. VG2: also doing really well. I am guessing this is a really strong strain. Both have held up through issues. We are just going to do regular maintenance this week.
