Seed popped after 36 hours in a glass of water.
I then planted into the pot and it broke through the soil approx 36 hours later.
Had a few strains from Sweet Seeds and never had an issue with germination rates/time.
The pot is in with a plant that is finishing off so the temp and humidity are currently lower than I'd like.
Temp: approx 20/22°
Humidity: approx 45/55%
So far so good. My vegging tent is currently taken up by a crop that is drying (RQS - Cookies Gelato) so have been giving Red Hot Cookies 12 hours in the flowering tent and 12 hours in natural lighting so roughly 20/4. Due to these hours of natural winter lighting we have developed a slight stretch but nothing to worry about.
Drying should be finished in 24/48 hours and she can go in the veg tent for consistent 20/4 lighting under the GN Telos 10.
Will check back in next week. ✌️
Shes doing great. I repotted her from 0.5l to a 5l litre pot and 40ml of mycorrhizal fungi to the root base during transplant.
This is my first time working with fungi and I'm looking forward to it.
I've also got 2 co2 bags she is receiving 50% of the time. I know these are another contentious product but my experience of using them has always been worth it.
A good week.
She responded well to her transplant as well as her FIMing with nearly no slow down in growth.
I have kept her steady at 2ml of grow per litre but for her next feed i will increase to 3-4ml. (4ml if any yellowing occurs)
I have grown this strain before and I found that early on the red genetics can show themselves in the new growth. I have seen similar signs so I'm feeling quite hopeful for a red pheno 🤞
Not a bad week.
Developed a slight ph problem which I've traced back to the watering can. It had a build up of nutrients at the bottom that was fucking with the feed. That's been cleaned now so I'm expecting normality back soon.
Lst has been the weeks focus. In trying to set the foundation for a solid and far reaching canopy (we'll see🤷♂️).
I have been bending her and then giving her 8-10 hours of hard wind from a fan to build up branch strength followed by 10-14 hours of reduced wind but increased Co2 levels to help thicken the stems more and just generally accelerate growth.
I think she will be getting re-potted into a 3gallon fabric pot within the next 5-10 days.
Any questions or tips then please feel free to say 🙂
Not much too report this week.
I have been concentrating on LST/supercropping and really just trying to prepare for a decent canopy. I have also FIMd her twice more this week, which brings the total up to 3 now.
I gave her a break from nutrients this week and fed her with only water and then molasess for the mycorrhizal fungi. She now looks ready for another feed.
She will be reported to a 3 gallon fabric pot when she next dries out. I will then veg her for approximately another month.
Humidity and temps have remained constant throughout the week.
